Nintendo Power: August

Don't give up hope! The US can still get a release date this year, but if nothing about the game is announced by August, then early next year. At least we can get this stuff translated.

Hopefully. I gave up trying to translate it.

But I'd rather it be something completely new we haven't seen yet.

By the looks of it, there seems to be a few other games taking up that page, so maybe just the key facts from Famitsu. Here, see for yourself:

Ah yeah, you're right Xeno. There are five stories covered on page 20, not just AC.

So it probably is just a few things pulled from Famitsu. Oh well, maybe we'll get more information in September.

Does Nintendo Power ever published new infos? I think some are a little naive, just like thinking NA is getting the game this year... I highly doubt it. EU got everything earlier that NA lately, even stuff you got earlier in the past. Don't you guys understand that time has changed? It wouldn't surprise me when EU gets this game like 2 days earlier tha NA, but we will see.

That makes no sense at all.
They're already done with the JP and US version of the game, they just haven't announced a release date yet. They still have to work on the EU version, which is why it's dated for next year.

It doesn't make sense at all? Tell that Nintendo. It's a fact that we get everything earlier lately, apparantly they don't want to make the EU and US release too much apart. NSMB2 is coming in NA on 19th of August, in EU on 17th of August. NSMB(1) came out in US on 15th of May, in EU 30th of June, such things were happening in 2006, but now such things wouldn't occur. We got Pok?mon Balck and White 2 days earlier, even though we got it months later back in the day, we got Skyward Sword 2 day earlier. There are more, but I made myself clear. Pok?mon has a lot of text btw, so that's not a reason. People in America, don't make it worse than it already is, just get used to it. You guys didn't even get the XL yet, at least you guys get the AC adapter. I doubt that AC is coming out this year in NA, for NA it's still "TBA". It would really surprise me! ;-P

...Nintendo decides when AC is released. Game Freak decides when Pokemon is released.

Those two games have NOTHING in common. The release dates do NOT factor in with each other.

I'm not going to get used to anything, because your logic makes no sense whatsoever. Games aren't released based on some sort of pre-determined plan, if that were the case we would have got AC a long time ago before they started pushing the release date back. The real logic stands. JP and US have EXACTLY the same game. The same cartridges, the same programming, the same everything other than language. EU won't have the same programming, which is why it's going to take so long for it to be released.

If anything, the US will get the game a month at the latest after Japan, if not a few weeks.

Either that, or we might receive it very early next year due to a bug or mistranslation. The only way it will release this year is if we get a little more info, I'm waiting out until the end of August or September. Nintendo always releases a good amount of info before they release, which sides with the fact that it may not release this year. But, Nintendo might just showcase it at the next Nintendo Direct (worldwide, August 19) and give it a release date. For NA, there is a small chance of it coming this year, if not then very early next year.

The amount of info we have is the same amount Japan has, but they know they're getting it this year.
I honestly think it's a lot bigger of a chance for it to come out in the US this year than people are thinking.
also, where did you see about this nintendo direct coming the 19th?
I looked it up, but all I could find was that the 3DSXL comes out in the US on the 19th.

I believe they will try to push to get the game for release in America for the Holiday but, if not most of us U.S. AC fans already knew it was planned for 2013 release anyway. It would be nice if we could get it during the Holiday season. :)
