Yes! I got my N3DS a day before launch. I was soooo happy, so I can assure you, it sometimes does!

Like Tina I just got an email confirming the dispatch of my Amiibo cards, we even ordered the same amount! No word on the game itself though... Hopefully that will dispatch tomorrow so I won't have too much of a wait!

Ooh yeah, I will willingly spend over ?50 on the game and the cards but if I have to spend that extra ?2 for delivery then I ain't buying it

I've just realised I haven't ordered a binder for my cards... Better get on it since I don't get the special HHD binder with my order...

I'm in the UK, and Nintendo UK store emailed me last night that my amiibo cards are on their way.
I ordered the game & reader from Amazon, I have in the past got such stuff on release date, hopefully will come via their own courier (Amazon Logisitcs).
If I had been ordering the new console as well, I'd have ordered via Nintendo UK store cos there was such good freebies with it, but I wasn't, so I didn't.

Hoping I don't get too many duplicates.

At this point I don't think anyone can really expect their bundle to arrive "early" {speaking about those who ordered from Nintendo as that's what the OP was referring to}. If Nintendo ships it out today you'll get it by Friday , maybe tomorrow depending on where you live. But Nintendo did say everything was scheduled to arrive on the expected date and they weren't having any delays with the XL bundle, so hopefully we'll be getting emails soon >.<

I got an email just now that my first order of cards has been despatched, estimated delivery on or before 5th October. New XL bundle is still "awaiting stock pick" though, as is my second card order.

It just depends on when you placed your pre-order, i.e. if the first batch of xl bundles they get has 30 lets say but 60 people pre ordered, then the first 30 go to the first people who pre ordered, and the next 30 have to wait. So really, you might get your XL bundle still on release, but for some cases it may actually not be until monday {at least that's what Nintendo had to say}

A tad annoyed, but ah well

I don't know, but that's what they told me. It's not definite but it's all based on the stock they get , even though it says pre order it's not for their first shipment, so some people could actually be waiting until monday. I even tried asking about my personal order as I was a bit annoyed to find that out, but they are really secretive for something that's due to be released in 2 days.

I'm concerned though, since mine says awaiting stock pick still, and I thought by now it should be preparing for dispatch.
