Just because people post an idea first doesn't mean I can think of the idea independently. Keep in mind that that was my 1st post - its not like you gave proof that I wasn't thinking it when I saw Tom's post. I can and will link a thread on my old mafia forum about my experience with policy lynching and why I hate it with a passion.

And if anything, I'd call you angry, not me. Seems like you're losing your mind tbh. Get some sleep, wale up, and hopefully you'll have a cooler mind so we can actually be productive.

Wait wait wait. I thought you were against policy by having a suspicion of Tom? So what's your stance on policy lynching?

I know a policy lynch is sometimes needed, so I'm not completely against the idea of one
but i think Tom's reasoning to lynch Trojan was a little bit weak.
If i were to vote Trojan today, it would be because the "I am not motivated right now" statement
But, the policy lynch on Trojan bandwagon that Tom tried to start seemed thoughtless to me, and Trojan swings equally Town or Scum in my thoughts

thats why i haven't voted yet

Side note, I really don't want to No Lynch but if it is 1 hour before time is up and my mind still hasn't been made up, i think thats the direction ill be headed

@sarasa. IDK games been derailed a little. I don't know how I feel about Tom anymore, he's done some good posts as well as the bad ones. Ness has kinda been flip flopping and saying things while doing the opposite. What do you think about Satanic? I'm kinda confused as to the point of the pm but it would make sense if he was Mafia and information hunting

I have my thoughts about that post (and will post them once Sataric replies) but I'd really rather not have him piggyback off of my ideas and have me be paranoid about them for the rest of the game so I'm reserving my judgement on that and him for now. I'll PM you my thoughts though.

Hey guys! Find some service here, but I don't have the time to read everything new so far.

But I see people are against a lynch in general, which I strongly disagree with. A weak lynch on even an inactive would help narrow the scum list down than no lynch at all. Whenever I get home I'll say who I want lynched, but just keep in mind wasting a lynch is not a good idea at all.

And lynching someone atleast puts us in some kind of position. If anything you're twisting it to make it look like I want blue roles dead.

i understand why you think its a bad idea Ness, when you say we get no information, you only mean Immediate Information, we will still be able to use the post' and information here as the game continues to unfold. i guess im just thinking of the long run, as D1 lynch usually ends up being a mislynch i want to see as many town alive as long as possible.

If we never take the risk to lynch, then we lose period. Your logic is a bit flawed.

With the number of people alive, we can afford a mislynch today as it almost always is a shot in the dark. Mislynches suck, but if we can start having suspicions tomorrow that are of more merit then that will be better.

I actually used to believe in no lynching D1 but I changed my mind because NLing doesn't provide information at all.

See, lynching doesn't just give you a role. It also gives you an idea of what side people lie on. People that attacked a townie or defended a scum get further scrutinized. It gives us a place to start when looking for scum and puts a context to base ideas off of.

Just going to address the following since people have asked some questions and sent me some PMs:

Before I die I would like to bring up a pm sataric sent me. Im not sure why he sent this and I think its a bit weird.

"I just made a post in the thread which might make it seem like I am defending you. I really do not want to do that in case you turn out to be all evil and stuff in the end, you know? It'll make me look very bad. So would you please tell me your role and such, and become my trusty minion for this game, so we can win? Thanks. I'm 100% town." - Sataric

He sent it to me really close to the start. I had only posted like once or twice

Directly after the policy lynch conversation was first brought up very early in the day, I realized that it might seem like I am somehow defending Trojan by being against the policy lynch since they were the chosen target by Tom and Minties. So I decided to PM Trojan with the subject line "Are you Mafia?" to throw out a feeler. I chose to write it in a rather silly way - The message is exactly like Trojan copied it. Essentially, I think that one of the benefits of a PM game is that you can help steer those who are a bit lost and confused in the right direction. Essentially I wanted to establish a line of communication with Trojan so I could get a better read onto them. My offer was ultimately frowned up, I feel. Heh.

It's not only Mafia that hunts for information. In fact, Mafia starts the game with way more information in their corner, knowing whom the rest of their team is, and basically just have to blend in at first. The town is the uninformed side of the game and they need to hunt for information and establish reads onto people much faster. I don't want to be considered a Trojan supporter for being against a Policy Lynch - Especially not if I also find you rather scummy. Simple as that.

Praying for merge: Also, at this point in time with the hours remaining being few, it's not really a "policy lynch" in the same sense anymore. We've had plenty of discussion this day taken place, which is nice. I'm going to read through everything again before I decide on whom to vote for today, but if I cannot come up with anything truly solid, I will likely be picking one of the people pushing for this no lynch (essentially no information or progress..) the hardest because they're not very Pro-Town in my eyes.

Alrighty, read through Ness's posts again and I guess I have the unpopular opinion of townreading him. I think most of what you guys are finding off about him is the vote, and I've seen him do this in Mafiascum so I don't think too much of it.

You have it all figured out Kat, I did it mostly for pressure like I said.

What I was trying to get at is, Tom was saying that we should lynch him because he is annoying and he doesn't want to deal with that.
I initially thought Trojan wanted to back off a little bit so he wouldn't come off as annoying this game and he could get on people's good side so they would not mislynch.

But now that Trojan said that he was just unmotivated to play/**** post, my read on him becomes invalid.
He could come back motivated, start **** posting again, and get annoying like Tom says.
I don't like to go against my gut usually (gut tells me he's town) because that's how I personally play mafia, but if a policy lynch is in effect, Trojan could be a good guess

If he starts ****posting, why wouldn't we just lynch him then? It'd be an obvious scumread since it'd be a massive playstyle change from today, and your reasoning other than that seems based in policy.

Btw apparently my dad says he'll be having a part for me on March 10th and I will have a party with friends on March 13th, so I may not be as active those days.
