Pokémon Pokemon General

Heatran and Stark Mountain were ok. I like Double Battles because you finish two trainers at once. Claydol wasn't as useful as Chansey or Arcanine though. Many people don't like Heatran, but I do so it was worth it. I hate SRing for Modest though.

Giratina is gonna be a Lost Woods kinda dungeon if you havent played DP. Be sure to stock on Max Repels.

Was the one you're thinking of Necrozma?
Yeah, have to look up how you even get Heatran after doing with Buck cause my memory sucks lol. Yup I read about that **** dungeon with Giratina so looking forward lmao.

And yep exactly.

Debating on whether or not to get the new DPP remakes. Everyone in my circle is playing them. I feel like I'm missing out

You're not missing out really, unless you really want the event Mew/Jirachi I'd say. They made it too pure and left out stuff + buggy graphics. So nah.

Also yeah I got Giratina and Heatran eventually, now for digging up those slab stuff and do Ramanas park. yawn.

As much as I love Sinnoh, holy heck shiny hunting is burning me out. I've only gotten 2 badges so far, and the rest of my hours playing have been trying to hatch a shiny eevee. I'm 300 eggs in and no sign of shiny eevee yet, and while 300 eggs doesn't seem too much, a 5k walk for 5 eggs is a little tiring for me. :c I might give up early and try to shiny hunt buneary instead and come back to shiny eevee later on. Idk why I'm so fixated on getting a shiny before even finishing the game, haha. I feel finishing my first playthrough of the game with a shiny in my party is satisfying.

Also yeah caught Regirock in Ramanas Park, and even after 1 Pokémon there it's such a bad concept, at least make the RNG for the trade-in stuff better... also the escalator is hella bugged, you can't go back down unless you manage to find this one little narrow point that let's you do it.

🥲 just caught my first ever shiny - a cute green hoppip. I’m not crying, you are

edit: and caught on my 40th chain, so it has 3 perfect ivs!

Figured that I should comment here first before thinking about creating a post.

Should I give up on the BW/BW2 games? This is my second break from just playing BW. I left off after finishing the sixth gym.

The issue that I can’t seem to overcome is the slow leveling. To keep things in mind, my first Pokemon game was Omega Ruby. That game along with XY and SM made me too used to the new exp. share feature. It doesn’t take long to level up a pokemon.

When I first bought Pokemon White, I knew that the exp. share was not going to be the same like the one I got used to…but holy cow is thing slow! I even have that egg or item that also gives exp.

Should I give up?

BW/B2W2 shouldn’t be that difficult to level up in. Sure, it takes longer, but if you farm the Pokemon Audino with your Lucky Egg you should be able to get even more experience points. You can also do trainer rematches in one of the games if I recall correctly. I was still a teenager or kid when I beat those games.

Thanks!:D I haven’t heard of the Audino trick. I’ll try that.

I'd kesp going. Gen 5 is kinda notorious with grinding, but like Midoriya said, the Audino trick is pretty good. That, and you never know if you'll find a shiny or not. I was grinding on Victory Road and found a shiny Tranquil in the double grass! It was male too, so it was a real neat find

I haven't played Pokemon in yeaaars and since I just got my Switch I wanted to know what game people would recommend!
I heard Legends Arceus isn't that good? Would Shining Diamond/Pearl be better?

I don't know where you heard Legends Arceus isn't that good, but it's a lot better than the Diamond/Pearl remakes, that's for sure.

It was probably people complaining about the graphics a lot x_x not something I really care about but I really wanna make sure before buying a $60 title D:

I mean...on a personal level, I play all the Pokemon games (and I don't feel like I'm doing my physical Switch game collection justice if I don't buy them all). But, with that said...I stopped playing the D/P remake pretty quickly. Before they even released Arceus. - I can't remember the exact reason why I put it on the back burner...but I did. It just has that feeling of an "in-between" game...which I guess makes perfect sense since we've now learned about Scarlet and Violet.

Can’t wait for TPC to fix the Home glitch so I can access my account and move Pokémon to BDSP.
