For my Pokemon Day predictions, I'm hoping for either a retelling of the anime but as a video game (nintendo would LOVE to use that as a cash-grab for fans of Ash), any pokemon game for NSO (Hey You Pikachu! when?) , or an entirely new game. Based on my pfp, I'm hoping for a Pokemon x Puyo Puyo crossover (may happen, but PPT2 is out of updates, so this will need to coincide with a new Puyo announcement).
I actually like Roy, and it's cool that he's from Kanto.
I'll need to hear the voices of the characters before I'm fully on board though.
Also...sounds like the "mysterious Pokeball" might be a similar situation to the Togepi egg? At least, that's what I feel from reading that. - Sounds like something he's going to carry around until it opens one day and reveals a new Pokemon.
I don't think I've commented about it yet, BUT I am really glad they are doing away with Ash, regardless of how this new series turns out.
I really believe the Ash train has run its course and that if they continued using him as the main protagonist forever even the people who love him would get tired of him eventually.
I'm looking forward to seeing what happens with it. I still haven't finished the previous series, so I'm somewhat behind, but I'll catch up in time for this.
I've always liked Ash, but I lost interest in the show after his voice actress was replaced in the English dub. I then lost interest in the Japanese version of the show when the style changed... I don't think it fit him at all. The more I think about it, the more I'm happy to see a new duo take the spotlight, even if the descendant* route is my least favourite type of progression for shows, since I'll find myself constantly comparing them to their parent(s) and never truly seeing them as their own person.
It was alright. Ash winning the championship was nice. Theres a 12(??) episode series now that is just finishing up Ash travelling around with Misty and Brock to tie his journey up
They might end up announcing that they are adding Shinies to UNITE, which I've honestly daydreamed about for the past few weeks. Terrible idea, I know.
Can't even say I'm disappointed anymore. I've learned to expect nothing good.
DLC was expected, but also a slap in the face...considering the unfinished nature of Scarlet and Violet. - Tera raids are kinda neat...but most people will struggle to actually accomplish them. - A non-announcement style announcement regarding Pokemon Home (Spring 2023 doesn't exactly tell us anything we didn't already assume).
Just very meh all around. - Considering how much content and various avenues they have for distributing said content...the Pokemon franchise continues to deliver the absolute bare minimum. - I honestly think my favorite bit of news was the announcement of Pokemon Concierge. Because, well...at least that's something we haven't already heard about and didn't expect.
Love the Ceruledge is getting a little spotlight.
However, are the Explorers the new team rocket or....
Cause I don't want Ceruledge to be on an enemy team...
I haven’t actually watched the Pokémon anime really at all. I used to watch the episodes before school when I was a lot younger. Maybe I should get into it now that I’m older.
