Pokémon Pokemon Go General Discussion

WHY DOES EVERYONE BUT ME HAVE PORYGON

I only have 28 pokemon caught, porygon not included so don't worry

Also my highest CP pokemon is 400cp ;-;

Edit, I've had the game since it came out in the USA

AAAa I was using a tracker program a few hours ago and saw two Poliwraths and a Raticate on my radar. The Poliwraths were away from me but in the area where my gps often glitches me into, but ofc gps didn't glitch me there that time. Raticate on the other hand was literally ontop of my house, but my gps likes to put me across the street so didn't get that either. FFS.

I seriously wish my gps would stop glitching me all over the place when I'm at home. Sure it slowly helps me with eggs, but at times the glitching happens every 2s and that's too little time to catch anything.

a few others and i kept the gym for about 5 days. this gym is at a park, and i was babysitting my little brother, so i decided to do something "productive" with my time. i stuck one of my pokemon in there and leveled it up to a level 10 gym so 9 other people could just drop off their pokemon while driving by. it was filled before we left. that gym was a monster but im surprised it didnt get taken over sooner.

also that vaporeon is huge, thats awesome! mine is only 800cp, but it does the job.

For once, I'm happy I live in a more rural area. Not too many people play Pokemon Go. So I took over all the gyms at our local state park for a solid 3 days. Which was pretty sweet :)

How many of you see/are adults playing pgo? I have yet to see a single adult playing pgo, only kids. Then again, maybe every adult playing is being a stereotypical finn and keeping to themselves about it. Either way, the lack of adults playing in my area irks me, since it makes me feel rly immature.

Managed to get a Magmar due to the help of pokevision a few days ago.
Since I'm not working today, I plan on going down the mountain to the river to try find some cool Pokemom. I've been there before, and seen Dratini, Slowbro, Squirtle, Beedril and some others show up on the radar, but since the step thing is broken, I've not been able to find anything. Hopefully with the hope of pokevision I can find some cool stuff today!

I need to spam pokestops first though, I've only got about 4 pokeballs and ~50 greatballs left.

I lost a Magmar today when my game glitched. I had it in my ball but the game lagged and I when I restarted it was gone. :(
Yesterday I had better luck and caught a ton of stuff between home and work (and at work too).

What age would you consider adults? 18+, that's basically all that plays pogo in my area. 25+ and they only come out at night. I went out with my friend around midnight and went to some parks and there were so many adults out it was insane.

Basically 18+ and god I'm a bit jelly. I only see 6-13 year olds play the bloody game.

Most of the people I've encountered playing Pokemon Go are adults. There was also a meet up in my City and from the pics mostly 20's and older. I'll also mention that I'm over 30 years old playing this game. I don't care what people think because while I'm outside walking around, getting fresh air and exercise. They're the ones sitting at home playing candy crush and eating junk food. :rolleyes::lemon:

Got the data warning from my cell provider. I can't play Pokemon Go for a while.

@Dinomates

I primarily see adults playing. The only time I see children playing is usually when they have an adult/parent playing with them! I'm a lot over 18 lol and I don't feel strange playing :>

I've seen one fat guy, one skinny guy together playing.
I also saw a fat guy with a weird hat on.

arrgh I don't know if I should update the game or not, from what I heard the new update is pretty bad :c

its fine... the only thing is that the footsteps are just gone altogether now. but that feature stopped working on the previous version anyway so...

Yeah, the update is pretty minimal I'd say! I do like that you can change your avatar's outfit on a whim and there are a few more options lol. The new badge designs are pretty cute too.

And the new pop-up warnings lol
