Sure it isn't necessarily aimed at the core fanbase and I get that, whatever. But that doesn't change the fact that the game is dumbed down.

Well it's now officially out! I hope those who bought this game day 1 are enjoying it! While I'm not too interested in this game, I'm still attracted to seeing Kanto in HD as well any changes they made have made. However, I think I'll wait a bit. I'll gladly pay $60 for a switch game, but I don't think these games are worth that price. So I'll buy mine used on ebay after a while.

I've been watching a Let's Play of the game and it doesn't look too bad. I'm still not a fan of the lack of wild battles, though. That's one of my favorite aspects of the series. I do like seeing the wild Pokemon in the overworld. I'll keep watching and see how my opinions hold up. It'll probably be something I buy far down the road anyways.

I don’t know, but all I know is that each standard Pokeball is 100 Pokedollars.

For my plans of the game, I’m gonna focus on Pokedex completion rather than making competitive Pokemon like in Sun and Moon and Ultra Sun/Ultra Moon. I’m not getting good-natured Pokemon as of now.
