the only reason i play pok?mon is probably that there are a lot of cute pok?mon. so i hoep for a ton of cute ones in this generation. the starters are pretty cool

It looks like too much city.
I prefer the Alola style region.

The graphics looks like flat cartoons placed on a semi realistic background.

The soccor stadium gyms put me off too.
A more nature based theme would have been better.

I really hope the region is not all like that.

Uhhh... ignoring the fact that the games are clearly far from done... I do not think you should buy games from this series anymore.

Theres quite a lot of fields and nature on the map chief. Its based on the UK so theres gonna be a tonne of country haha

Uhhh... ignoring the fact that the games are clearly far from done... I do not think you should buy games from this series anymore.

I merely said I hope it's not dominated by cities.

I've been playing for decades, and have always enjoyed the games. Me saying I prefer a more rural than urban setting, doesn't warrant a radical statement like that.

It's my personal preference. That's what the topic is for. To post what we would like to see, and our hopes for the game.

I'm glad it's going back to Gyms. That trials idea in Sun and Moon was cool but it just wasn't the same to me. I didn't dislike the trials but I personally prefer the gyms.

I also like Scorbunny, the Fire Type starter.

I'm also glad that the gyms are back. To be honest, I hated the trials in Sun and Moon so much. Sure, it was something new and all, but they aren't my cup of tea at that point. Sometimes, it was more frustrating for me rather then fun to beat some of those trials, as some of them took like forever to finish. Besides, I just prefer the gyms more, so I'm glad they come back in the new Gen.

Thank goodness for trainer customization still being a thing in Pokemon Sword and Shield. Ngl, I was really hoping it would return and we wouldn’t end up with ORAS v2.0. Glad to see that’s not the case. And lmao, the design on the shirt is funny

Would have been surprised if they would have removed the trainer customization. Hopefully they gonna add some new good looking hair styles which are available right from the beginning and not just then when you have to finish the main story first (I hate this to be honest because I would like to use a hair style I like when I'm playing the main story and not then when I'm already done with the game, ugh)...

ever since i heard this game was coming out, i've been so excited. since i'm new to the pokemon franchise, i'm not sure what i'd like to see in the game. i hope there's a bunch of new and cute pokemon though, of course

Trainer customization has recently been confirmed to be back but that's about it. We don't know what kind of outfits or hairstyles there will be just yet.

Yeah, I know that, my post was about the news that it will be back. Also what I meant was that in general, I hope they gonna add new hair style and make them available right from the beginning and not just then when you're already done with the game like they did in X and Y or Sun and Moon.

I don't know why, but my hype for Sword and Shield isn't so high right now. Now don't get me wrong,
I happy to hear that Gen 8 is on the way. However, I'm more hyped for other games coming up at the
moment than as for Pokemon. Maybe it's because I wasn't such a fan of Gen 7, I played Sun and Moon
but didn't enjoy them that much, never played Ultra Sun or Ultra Moon. Also it's been over a year now
since I played the last time Pokemon. Guess my hype will be bigger when they show the first few new
Pokemon of the Gen 8 and more informations about it in general.

Also yikes @ that video. Didn't even know that there was a t-shirt contest at all. Really sucks what
happend.

lol This contest is turning out to be garbage. If they're going to disqualify everyone, what was the point of it?

I?m really glad gyms have been brought back, I never liked the trials and I didn?t really feel like the Alola region as a whole was that challenging or interesting. It was by far my least favorite game.

Personally, Sword and Shield looks like my kind of game. The little clips we?ve seen so far I?ve really liked, and I could see myself going with any of the starters (Let?s just hope Scorbunny doesn?t turn into another fire/fighting).
