Fruits in the new game apparently can give you strength enough to lift a whole tree! So I wonder..

Will we be able to move rocks as well? No more pesky rocks ruining paths  (My ACNL town has 9 rocks.. I'll be incredibly happy if we can move them in Horizons)

Also, considering we live on an island now, any possibility of town fruits including bananas and coconuts now? I also wanna know if they'll add new types of fruit, and what else we could do with them.

(I'd personally think it would be cool if diff kinda fruit gave you diff abilities, haha)

I sure hope you will be able to move rocks. I hated the fact they you could never remove them, they
ruined so many times my town plans because I couldn't build my house or a PWP on a certain spot
as they block it. After all, if you are now strong enough to move whole trees then you should also
be strong enough to move rocks.

Also, I do like the idea of turning bananas and coconuts into town fruits. Would be the perfect thing
if you want to do a tropical island theme for example.

I would think that you should be able to do something with the rocks because you'll need them for crafting materials! there are also some "rock" items (like the rock chair) that you can make (maybe out of rocks)?

I would love to see some different fruit, but I can't think of any that would be town appropriate and not too similar to ones we already have. Who knows.... :)

I don't see why not. If it makes you strong enough to pull up a tree by its roots you should be able to lift a rock as well. Man, what's in these fruits?

I bet you could move the rocks because in the first trailer they showed us, one of the rocks was gone at the near end compared to the beginning. So yeah, I believe you can. :)

As for new fruits, I'm not sure which ones I would like to see. Maybe they could add berry bushes for new fruits that we can decorate and maybe pick from them too? Who knows. :p

I would love to be able to move rocks. Bananas and coconuts will probably stay a beach only fruit since there's still a distinction between the ocean sand and the ground. Trellises we could craft and then plant things like grapes on would be cool since I'm pretty sure I saw grapes in Pocket Camp (haven't played in a while so I don't know anything about that) and berry bushes would be cool too. I've already said somewhere else I want an upgrade on bushes and fruit along with better flowers would be great, even if it's just a seasonal thing.

Being able to move rocks would just make my day, those things are so annoying! I'm guessing we can move them by rolling them? I mean I guess it makes sense since it's on an island, sandstone is very light :D New fruits would be just awesome! I would love to see mangoes, grapefruit, kiwi's maybe even apricots! I hate the current banana tress that grow on the beaches in new leaf, that's not how banana's grow! They grow in a huge hanging bunch like grapes on the tree! Not like apples! I would also love to see some vegetables but that's another story :)

Oh gosh berry bushes would be so amazing, all of our fruits are currently tree-restricted! I'd love to see strawberries or blueberries, or raspberries as well. On the note of tree-restricted fruits, it would be amazing to have fruits that grow from the ground as well, like watermelon, pineapple or cantaloupe!

Mangos actually do already exist in the game! I do agree on the other fruits though. I'd say I would be worried about them thinking some fruit is too similar, but then again.. I thought persimmon and lychee were oranges and cherries when I first started the game haha. Those two are already super similar, so I don't think it's too far to think they'll add some others that are similar!

The banana trees are a bit weird, but I think it's a bit hard to make an accurate banana tree in the "animal crossing style" without looking 'too much' you know?

(also I would love vegetables as well, I know some people don't want a farming aspect to AC but I think it would be just so fun ahhhh; we could have a town fruit AND a town vegetable)

I am in the minority where I don't want us to be able to move rocks. I like the aspect of having to work hard to make your town look good by working around obstacles like that.

As for fruit... they gave us a bunch of new ones in New Leaf. It would be neat if they added even more to this one as well.

Although I do like the aspect of having to work hard to make it look how you want/look amazing, sometimes it's just too much D:

My town right now has 9 rocks, and they're pretty spaced out around my town. The problem is, villagers don't want to move on/close to them, I can't put pwp projects on/close to them, they ruin paths no matter how I try to avoid them, and I'm sure there's prob more I'll encounter

It makes my town feel like I have no space to put stuff, especially since I have so many. It kind of makes me really unhappy with my town to where I want to restart again (cousin deleted my first town which is why I'm having this problem in the first place), but so many people have already helped me a lot with my new town I don't want to waste it

I'm sure it'll probably get better the longer I work on it, but it's just a bit frustrating :(

(I think that being able to move them via eating fruits is cool though, because if you wanted to keep them in their original spots and just work around them then you could :))

To be honest, the idea of moving rocks seems much more realistic than a whole tree anyways :p well, not that the game is very realistic to begin with. But the developers are aware of the fans complaints about plot resetting and rocks or whatever so I do think they will address it in the new game some how. If we can move trees I’m sure we can probably move rocks too. Maybe it has something to do with the tool upgrades which will let us break certain rocks. Or maybe it’s the fruit thing that will do it.

Oh no! That is terrible! I can understand why they would be a problem. I've got a few in Gracey that I've incorporated into paths (because the idea is to make it look like a once-beautiful town gone to rot) and a few in my new town Legend that are TOO CLOSE to a few houses to look natural, but nothing as bad as that. I wish you good luck trying to work around them. :(

Somehow I doubt they'll add the ability to move rocks, but I'd love it if they finally gave you that options. Rock placements are a complete mess, most of the time, they ruin a perfect PWP placement.

As for coconut and bananas, it'd be great to plant a few next to your home, hopefully they'll make this an option in Horizons though I doubt it will be an option either.

Yeah, they did say while they wanted to improve the game, they didn't want to make it easier. I feel like this applies to keeping it where you can't move rocks, since a lot of people do find it a pain. Would be the 'hard' aspect I guess? lol

Considering in HHD you're able to put palm trees on grass (Though.. You can basically do whatever you want except overlap stuff lol) I hope that they make it so you can put palm trees wherever! I do doubt it as well though.

I don't want new fruit trees... I want nut trees! I feel like those would be a nice addition but I doubt they will ever get added. I'm still crossing my fingers that we can grow red turnips again...

It would be nice if we could move rocks. As for fruits, I am wondering if we will have different native fruits and perfect fruits. I would like to have the perfect fruits that they added in pocket camp or at least something different than what is in new leaf.

Nut trees actually sound very cool! They'd add an extra variety to the game  You never know though, they might have just not thought about it. I think getting the idea to be popular gives it a chance to be added, I know that they've seen all of the feedback thus far about the game

Yeah true! I haven't played Pocket Camp, but I have seen the fruits and other things they've added. I do hope they add some of them into the game! (Off topic, but I particularly want to see some of the hairs that pocket camp has added into ACNH)

I really would LOVE to be able to move rocks! They were such a pain to deal with in NL, particularly if you were unlucky like I was and ended up with a ton of them. I feel as if it would make things a lot easier- but at the same time, I do like the idea of having to work hard to get your town how you want it. I don't want everything served to us on a silver platter with this new upcoming game; I want it to still have the same sort of struggle that we faced in previous games with getting our towns to look how we wanted.

I would also like to see new fruits! I'm sure they'll add new ones, given the amount of changes they're already implementing. New Horizons has me so excited eee!

I think leaving out the ability to move rocks would be as bad as leaving out skin color options.

Rocks have been a problem in this series for as long as I can remember.

They've let us choose our skin color, and where the animals move to, so don't get slack on us now; Nintendo.

Let us move those badly situated rocks.
