Something You Love and Hate About Your Computer

Whatever I love on there is what I’ll love

I don’t hate much of anything, except pop up ads that shows up in a new tab.

Love: It's a beastie boy that I've yet to find a game it can't run on at least 'high' presets.

Hate: No disc tray. Largely not an issue these days, but it's irritating on the rare occasion when I can't find an album torrent online and I can't rip the physical copy I own.

Regarding my desktop, I love the fact that I can play N64 and Gamecube games on it with little or no lag (and there s actually a lot of things in general I like about it, like it's overall functionality), but I hate that it doesn't have a wireless card so I can only connect to the internet with an Ethernet cable.

With my laptop, I like that it has Windows 7 on it and I came take it anywhere I go, but I hate using the mousepad and having to carry a mouse seems inconvenient.

I like to think it preforms pretty well for the price I got it at, but the display is hd instead of hd+ which is what I'm used to from my old pc. It wasn't that noticeable at first but when you're drawing it can be kind of jarring

Love: ...The color palette's nice... And it's Windows 10...
Hate: It takes two eternities to load things. Then again, it might just be the storage space...
(Despite its flaws, I use it A LOT.)

Love: It can run most "new" games that are not to graphics based, mind you it's 5+ years.
Hate: Heavy, clunky and I can't carry it around like a regular laptop and it's too much for me nowadays

Well, I don’t have a computer anymore because every computer I’ve owned has magically broken, but I have an IPad Pro now.

Love: It can do everything a laptop or computer can, and even more artsy things with images and other stuff (though I just need the basics). I’ve figured out how to do all of this since first getting it for my birthday in May.

Hate: It rests on a stand, so sometimes I have to readjust it before typing. That’s not really too much of a concern though. I guess the only other thing would be that the charger is very short. Lmao

I love how ridiculously fast it is. Editing is so much easier now. Can't believe how quickly it renders my projects, when it used to take minutes just to preview a clip on my other computer.

But I hate that my hard drive space is partitioned oddly (the main drive has 200 GB and the D: Drive has the other terabytes...I've never seen that before tbh, maybe I'm out of the loop), and that I'm stuck with Windows 8 when I'd rather have 7.

Some nice things are that it has great resolution, it's relatively light, it's faster than my old one, I can do everything I need to do on it and I got it for free from a friend. Maybe I could name more if I understood more about computers.....

Some things that bother me a bit are that the screen is glossy and not matte, it at times keeps disconnecting from the Wi-fi, the touchpad is a bit damaged and I can't figure out how to make the external DVD drive work properly. And the quality of the speakers isn't the best. But overall I'm very happy and grateful for it! My old computer was way worse (I got it for 50e from my high school...) and at one point it became pretty much unusable because of insane lagging. This computer is probably better than anything I would've been able to buy myself

Awesome sauce: My desktop's general speed remains quick on everything outside of intensive tasks. And that's with two years of regular uses without doing a clean install.

Weak sauce: I found its integrated graphics card (iGPU) to struggle at handling a consistent frame rate while recording some gameplay footage, no matter what parameters I change. Solving the issue would require installing a good GPU and a 500W power supply to replace the default 200W one.

Pros: fast, lightweight, and cost me nothing as I won it in a contest.

Cons: 128GB storage.

love: portable, runs smoothly, can download whatever i want, big storage, no damage, works properly.

hate: old, kinda heavy, cannot play downloaded games, can get viruses easily, cannot download windows 10, takes a while to load up, constant annoying updates, lags sometimes, outdated.

i honestly need a new laptop

Love: Nothing because I don't have one.
Hate: I hate that I don't have something that seems so vitally important to live in this day and age.

Love: Fast enough to fun pretty much any game I want
Hate: The screen tear I get in certain games

I love my computer so much just recently got a new one and am so happy with it!!! If anything the thing I hate is that because my internet is bad I don't have many games on the computer so am limited with game choices.

it's a desktop but really, really small (total volume is probably less than 4 liters) so it doesn't take up a lot of space on my desk and it's easy to move. i don't move it very often but it's really handy that i'm able to.
i don't really have anything i hate about it, it runs everything i use well and stuff. but because it's so small it doesn't have a lot of ports, doesn't have a disk reader (which i really don't miss tbh) and is only compatible with hdmi which is annoying because my screen is compatible with vga and dvi-d so i need to use an expensive (because it's difficult to find ones that only have what i need and all the ones with sound are expensive) adapter. but it's not that bad and overall i'm really happy w my computer.

I love how my computer is light and has a touch screen. When I bought it, I didn't think I would use the touch screen often, but I use it more than I expected to. I also love the backlit keyboard. I don't think I can go back to a more basic laptop than this one. And even though my stepdad has said it's too small, I love the size. It is so easy to travel on planes with and use at airports. (Haven't used it during a flight yet, but there's a first for everything)

I don't like how dirty the screen seems to get. And since it is a touch screen, I have to turn it off to be able to clean the screen. Once I was using it and my grandmother, who had come to my place, came by and wiped it without even telling me first. Then she messed up what I was doing.

Love: It's portable, being a laptop.
Hate: Can't really handle 3D games.

It's approximately 7 years old now and works pretty good for most things still. The gaming thing bugs me a bit, but I mostly play console and handheld games, so it's not a huge deal.
