They only spawn on river clifftops, so you’d have to look around the area above a waterfall. They’re just really rare.

they can only be found in rivers on clifftops: bodies of water that have current located on the second or third tiers, the tops of waterfalls count! according to the datamine guide, you have to have caught 100 fish for it to be "unlocked" to be able to be caught. their spawn rate on your own island is very low, 1. however if you go to certain mystery islands their spawn rate increases, that's how i was able to catch one!

you can find them more easily on "big fish island" and "big fish island 2" mystery islands (#16 and #19 on ninji's guide). however still expect to fish A LOT and use a lot of bait. let me know if you have any other questions or need NMTs!

Today in the northern hemisphere spring started in acnh dong get me started on how sudden the snow melts, unlike when winter begins and it snows for abt a week before the snow sticks.
the grass is almost grey i know it is about to look beautiful but right now it makes me want to vomit, it does mimic the (brackish?? is that the right word) grass that is here around this time

i hate that the custom designs are only 32x32 and i hate that they have anti aliasing or smoothing or whatever filter on the designs. i wish we could turn it off. i recreated pixel art and it was ruined by the smoothing effect

I'm glad I'm not the only one who doesn't like the smoothing effect

we're definitely not alone! i looked up if there was any way to turn it off or a work-around and a lot of people complained about it. hopefully we have an option to toggle it on and off in the next game

i wish there was a delete option for your own custom designs. they only allow you to copy or swap. i only noticed because i used the copy method to copy the default "blank" custom designs but when i went onto my alternate character, it wouldn't allow that char to edit any of my designs. there was an "erase" option for OTHER people's designs however it doesn't reset to the grid design with the "PRO Pattern" title, it creates a blank white design with the title "New Design" but again this feature isn't accessible for you, only through another account. small thing but i feel like it's an oversight.

But I'm over here wishing we also could visit dreams without having to do the whole go back into bed and keep connecting to the Internet, as I'm trying to find an island I took pictures of and don't wanna post without mentioning what dream address its from, like it's so fustrating.

I never dreamed a lot, but that sounds so annoying ugh! I don't know if it's still this way, but I didn't like that we couldn't pick random dreams like in NL. Maybe they changed it? But it was something I liked doing. Sometimes I came across some really awesome dreams sometimes not, but it was fun!
But yeah everything about NH always feels like it's a chore that drags on. I don't know why they had to make it all so time-sinky like that. I just want to alternate between craft and customize lol!
There is a surprise me option when you want to go on dream addresses. But that may be more random then getting to pick.
But yeah you wake up but have to do the whole 'hey why are you here - want to dream, okay! Connecting to Internet etc'
Still haven't found the dream address DX I'm gonna go through the ones I save and then just look through videos because I swear I've seen someone else go to the same island.
