It's time to continue to ascend the tower! Tower of God season two... is here! 🪜

Viole/Baam, Khun, Rak, and friends begin their counterattack against Reflejo and FUG. Endorsi and Hatz manage to make the Mad Dog Varagarv and his ally submit. Yihwa and her crew manage to secure the other hostages. Viole/Baam, Khun, and Rak work together and manage to stop Reflejo as well.

As a last ditch effort, however, Reflejo signals one of his allies to start pouring molten lava solution into the place they're in, all in order to try and dissolve him along with Viole/Baam, Khun, and Rak.

Thankfully, however, due to the efforts of everyone it seems as though they've been saved... for now.

Next time on Tower of God season two, episode twenty-six. THE SEASON FINALE! "The Dawn of Departure." You won't want to miss it! (y)

Progress report: I'm now up to episode 30 of Fairy Tail and thereby finished the Phantom Lord Guild arc. It was really great and enjoyable to watch! Lucy showing her resolve to her father was nice to see as well. I can't wait to see what happens next in this show!

Everyone makes it out of the collapsing battle safely, and Reflejo seems to have perished. Wangnan also makes a full recovery and is reunited with Viole/Baam, and everyone else is too. Viole/Baam ends up going on a date with Endorsi, and she says to remember everything about her the next time they meet. Khun, Viole/Baam, Rak, and Wangnan make plans to journey to the 35th floor where the hell train is, all in order to find Cassano and save their friend, Horyang. Meanwhile, one of the Rankers warns the FUG higher-up that in the not-so-distant future, Viole/Baam will come to destroy him.

Viole/Baam gets a new haircut, and everyone parts ways and starts heading out on their own missions... but unbeknownst to them, Rachel is plotting with her allies to take control of the tower...

And now it's time for everyone's favorite segment, it's time for... A SEASON IN REVIEW!

Tower of God season two packs in a BUNCH of characters, great action scenes, and an amazing story filled with twists and turns that will leave viewers guessing what will happen next a lot of the time. Adapted from the popular Webtoon, this unique anime features a story unlike any other, with friends and foes at every turn. My main complaint for the series is that it should focus on some of its characters more and give them more character development time on-screen, but aside from that the story and world in this anime are both really interesting. Tower of God season two ranks in at a searing hot 8/10 on the anime scale.

And with that, all my watchlist anime is wrapped up for the year aside from Fairy Tail. Which anime shows did you love in 2024, and which ones are you looking forward to in 2025? Thanks again to everyone who has kept this thread going, and that will keep it going moving forward.

Until next year, see ya!

So my plan for Bungou Stray Dogs season 3 failed, there's a movie I need to watch before hand that I will not have time for for a while, so I started this new series called Parallel World Pharmacy!

I'm up to around episode 32 or 33 of Fairy Tail now, and still really loving it. Interested to see where this arc with Loke goes, especially because the show hadn't focused much on him until now!

Still watching Naruto Shippuden. 47 episodes in so far. Gonna watch more today :) they’re finally caught up with saske and Orochimaru (spelling ?)

I also saw something about Black Clover having new stuff this year, so I’m excited about that. I didn’t really look into it so I’m unsure if that’s true or not. I really hope so. I love that show sooooo much.

Yeah, apparently the word is the manga is adding a new exciting chapter(s) or something, but that means the anime form of it won't come out until it releases in the manga. So we're probably looking at a 2026 date at the earliest for the anime returning. I could be wrong about that, however, that's just what I picked up from research.

Glad you're enjoying Naruto Shippuden! It's one wild ride, so I hope you continue to enjoy it.

A few years ago I watched an anime called Den-Noh Coil.

It’s not very known but I really liked it. It’s a science-fiction anime about a futuristic world with digital pets where some kids end up exploring parallel dimensions, and there are also evil robots that try to catch them.

I haven’t watched anime in like 2 years, even though I loved it ( I loved the classic ones like Pokémon, Sailor Moon, Case Closed, Dragon Ball, etc) I want to watch some.
Any recommendations?

What's your favorite genres when it comes to anime? Just wondering because it'll help others and/or myself here help recommend some good stuff to you.

My forte is pretty much shounen, which is action/adventure shows. I rarely dip my toes outside of that, unless the show just happens to be very great (like Spy x Family).

Speaking of which, if you like wholesome shows that also have a bit of action in them, I'd DEFINITELY recommend Spy x Family. It has two seasons and a movie so far and it's one of the better, more recent anime I've watched. Up to you though!

Hi! Thanks! Yess, Spy x Family is SO GOOD, I already watched it and I have 7 books. I love this series so much!

I would say that my favorite animes are the adventure/action and science fiction ones, even tough I don’t stick to one genre

Wow thank you so much for all these recommendations omg!

I know some of these animes, they all seem to be great.
I used to watch Haikuuu with my little brother, it’s great.
I’m going to watch some of them right now!
Again thank you so much!!

Cased Closed had a had a crossover movie and a tv special with Lupin the 3rd, if you care.

People online are saying that a good jumping on point for Lupin is the somewhat recent Lupin the First movie, and it was good.

The company that own Lupin has a youtube channel that shows one of his older movies or tv specials for free, for around a month. Starting tomorrow it's "Island of Assassins". I guessing it's more action focused than comedy. Going by the art style.

Have a taste, before you commit, if you want.

I'm up to around episode 23 now of Fairy Tail and still really loving it! Just started the arc with the Phantom Lord Guild, and I'm interested to see where that goes. I'll be back later as well with a recap for Tower of God. < 3

Ah, the Phantom Lord Guild arc. I didn't realize it was that early in the series. That means you've met one of my favorite characters now: Juvia! 💧💙

Ave Mujica episode 1 is here. If that was episode 1, what on earth will happen to these girls in the rest of the episodes? i really like how you can look into Nyamus eyes and immidiaetly tell that she is... not normal. her brain only has enough room for social media and being devious. I am scared
