Yeah, the original Naruto is goofy, especially when cartoon-like sounds can be heard sometimes.

I will also watch Naruto Shippuden once I am done watching the original series.

I am watching the first season of the original Naruto anime, I'm enjoying it so far!

I wonder if you two can pinpoint where the pacing goes wonky. It's been a while for me but I recall a fight with Orochimaru dragging on a bit, but I enjoyed some of the fights after that like the one with Kimimaro.

You're going to enjoy it! I really liked the first arc and to me it felt like it could've ended there and been a great stand-alone series. The rest of the show is also amazing, but there's not many shows that have an introduction season that was as strong as this one.

I also really like One Piece, but it's first arc isn't nearly as strong as this one was. The show grew stronger as it went on, but out of the two One Piece had the weaker introduction.

Up to episode 58 or 59 of Fairy Tail now and still really loving it. Nirvana has been released and is starting to affect both the good guild members and evil guild members.... I do have to say that one money-loving guy suddenly turning good because of Nirvana was downright hilarious.

Up to episode 65 of Fairy Tail now and still really loving it! After witnessing the newest villain's introduction, this is all I have to say...

Up to episode 69 of Fairy Tail and now... Zero is defeated. I have to say Natsu's powered-up Blazing Phoenix Blade was really awesome to watch in-battle. The last couple episodes have been so emotional and definitely hit me hard with the gut punches, making me cry off and on. PLEASE STOP, FAIRY TAIL.

Anyway, with Oracion Seis arrested and Wendy joining Fairy Tail it looks like the next arc will begin, and I'm really looking forward to it!

I’m also watching Yugioh ARC-V right now too. The yugioh series are always so goofy but I love them

Yeah, it's a really nice and wholesome shounen with action that's good for passing the time, kind of like Naruto (and others). The characters I've seen so far are all very likable, the show has amazing humor, and the battles in the show are really well thought-out and choreographed. If I had to rank it it'd definitely be on my top 10 already. You should check it out if you have time once you finish Naruto Shippuden!

Up to episode 73 of Fairy Tail now and still really loving it. That dragonoid mini-arc was uh... interesting. Seems like the next episodes will focus a lot on Wendy, which is fair considering she just joined Fairy Tail. Witnessing Gray and Juvia's Unison Raid attack was really neat. Looking forward to watching more!

It is rather amusing that Ave Mujica are getting figures and nesoberis even though the anime has yet to finish airing... i have been wishing for Morfonica figures for almost 4 years now. Ave Mujica certainly deserves the amount of support and merchandise it is receiving... but so does Morfonica!
