There was a block of shows on the old Fox Family channel called Jetix. One of the shows on there other than Digimon had the localized name of Shinzo. I'm pretty sure the Japanese name was Mushrambo. I'd like to watch it or find out more about it.

The Fox Family was eventually bought and renamed to ABC Family, then renamed to Freeform, so Disney might be sitting on the rights to it, just like they were with the Samurai Pizza Cats.

I finished watching Spy Family: Code White!

It feels less like a movie and more like an extended episode but if you like the show you’ll enjoy it.

The new Ave Mujica episode ...... really love how they depicted the Mortis and Mutsumi argument, insane camerawork and art direction to show how the two alters are fighting within one body. And Mortis talking like Mutsumi was the dead coming back to life was so unnerving, like I know she's in deep sleep but still. Insanely good writing.

I just wanna drop a clip here, even if you're not interested in watching MyGO and Ave Muji, I think it's worth sharing how the animators and writers depicted Dissociative Identity Disorder. Been reading a lot of comments from people with DID praising how well-written this entire scene is. It's not every day you get to watch an anime shedding light on topics like these.

I've said once and I'll say it again, for anyone who wants a slice of life anime... watch MyGO. And then if you wanna watch that all burn down, watch Ave Mujica next.

Also in spoilers, made some analysis about the parallelism of Soyo, Sakiko, and Mortis.

I absolutely love how integral MyGO's story is to the writing of Ave Mujica, not just because MyGO's members are intertwined with Ave Muji members, but how the two stories are so parallel yet so... different. One obvious parallel was Mortis begging Soyo to help her wake up Mutsumi, which is a callback to Soyo begging Sakiko to help her bring Crychic back, but back then Soyo was refused any sort of help, called 'selfish', and just. left there. Eventually though she does find her place in MyGO, who gave her love and acceptance despite all her wrongdoings. Now that Soyo's in a better place, I'm really glad she didn't leave Mortis when it was her turn to beg Soyo for help. Imagine Mortis isolating for an entire month, people kinda just remember her in passing but don't care enough to check up on her or visit her, which I can imagine is so, so lonely. Mortis and Mutsumi are in really, really dark places right now so I'm happy Soyo is the one passing down this love and acceptance they need. It really touched my heart knowing Soyo, who was once selfish, is now giving everything she can for the people who need her right now.

I also can't wait for the eventual Soyo vs. Sakiko confrontation. Soyo has been explicitly told by Sakiko, "Are you really ready to bear the burden of another's life? Don't ever say something you cannot do yourself." which is very rich coming from Sakiko who has told the members of Ave Mujica, "Will you entrust the rest of your life to me?" Now that Sakiko believes everything is her fault, and instead of owing up to her mistakes, she starts running away again and trying to forget everything. Soyo now knows all this, and I'm really excited to see the reversal of roles, with Soyo now asking Sakiko if she really was ready to bear the burden of Ave Mujica's lives

For what it's worth, Sakiko is not wholly a bad person. She does not have malicious intents, but did bite more than she could chew; in the name of selflessness her actions ended up as selfish, and she desperately needs to know that receiving help is not bad at all.

Just like when Soyo tried to ruin MyGO once and for all, only to be met with the love and acceptance she didn't know she needed all along.

It is rather amusing that Ave Mujica are getting figures and nesoberis even though the anime has yet to finish airing... i have been wishing for Morfonica figures for almost 4 years now. Ave Mujica certainly deserves the amount of support and merchandise it is receiving... but so does Morfonica!

Nendoroids too.... I was surprised MyGO got nendoroids before Morfonica and I think RAS too? Well at the very least they have nesoberis but still, damn. Also never understood the logic behind how they released Bandori Nendoroids, they made a complete set only of PoPiPa and then for the rest of the bands it's just the lead singer + lead guitarist. I've waited so long for a Himari nendo lol, but anyway I got the Moca nendo so that's cool. Also planning to buy the Anon nendo at some point!

I'm up to episode 77 of Fairy Tail now and still really loving it. Gildarts was just introduced and he seems like a really interesting character, especially since he's supposedly the strongest Fairy Tail member. I'm looking forward to finding out more about what's going to happen now that three dragon slayers are in the guild, seems like Master Makarov was alluding to something...

crychic played haruhikage. they got the closure they needed. the spring sunlight they once shared will always be theirs and that’s all that matters to me.

anyway, it reminded me that im going to get a tattoo sometime this year. i want to have tattooed part of the lyrics of haruhikage. it’s a song that means so, so much to me, and i’m extremely glad it’s a song being treated with so much love and care.

I was able to get a used set of Nanbaka part one. The dvd/blu-ray set for $30.ish. New sets are over $200. now. I should have expected a certain English voice actor from Funimation. They're in everything, even though they don't have much range, and sound like they've stopped trying a long time ago, like Seth Rogan. I wonder if they've butchered the subtitles.

It looks nice, and I like the characters.

Anyone else watching Zenshu? I like the colorful scene when Natsuko uses her power. (Spoiler if you hadn't seen the 1st episode.) I've seen the few episodes out so far and really wonder where they are going with this story.

the apothecary diaries season 2 came out and i've been watching that, really excited for it hehe
i'm also watching a playthrough of a certain dude's vrmmo life, honestly just a casual watch since the pacing is kind of slow? don't know how to properly explain it

i finished the royal tutor and it was pretty good! i loved how silly it was, especially with the chibis

that's ok, i really enjoy it !!!! i first got into it when season 1 was airing but got impatient waiting for each episode so i started reading the manga - really recommend it

i'm a little behind with the current season because of work but it's been really fun haha
i really do love the story and following along (•ᴗ•,, )

Up to episode 83 of Fairy Tail now and still really loving it! Edolas seems like a really interesting world so far. I'm interested to find out why Edolas Erza and the kingdom's army stood down to Carla and Happy, seems like we're about to get some backstory/lore on them. Looking forward to watching more!

Up to episode 86 of Fairy Tail now and still really loving it! The mama and papa Exceeds that were kicked out of the kingdom had a really nice story, and I'm glad they were able to help Happy and Carla escape. That was a wholesome scene, especially when Happy and Carla grew their wings and were finally able to fly.

REALLY interested to find out who Gajeel released from the lacrima in the kingdom's royal capital. It looks like they got mixed up, so if it's not the Fairy Tail guild, I wonder who it is, lol. Will have to keep watching to find out!

i also started and caught up to date with i left my a-rank party, i've been liking it so far. i kept seeing it on my feed and got curious

omg i finally got around to reading solo leveling and i'm inhaling the series, it's so crazy good. i know they made an anime so i might watch that after i finish reading, oh !! and i heard they might even make it into a kdrama ◝(ᵔᗜᵔ)◜i think it said cha eunwoo would be the mc too

One of my local grocery stores still has some dvds, and right next to some Ghibli movies and the movies from Laika, like Paranorman, there was the old Perfect Blue. I feel obligated to mention that that movie is a trippy psychological thriller that goes into sensitive topics. I don't know if it has a rating, but it should be R if it does.

i'm honestly surprised at the speed in which i inhaled solo leveling, i might watch the anime at this point because i don't want my consumption of the series to end akejkjbgebt

i knoooow FT 100 years quest ended last month or something but i might just restart from the og series because it is simply THAT good plus FT holds such a special place in my heart haha

not really anime related but i'll throw it in here anyways; the manhwa i'm rereading because it came back from hiatus and i forgot the plot, this is literally so meeeee

Watch it, Solo Leveling is so good. Season 1 was great, but season 2 has been amazing so far. One episode a week doesn't seem like nearly enough, it just keeps getting more interesting with each new one.
