thank you to everyone for organising and participating in this event, it's been a blast i'm one of those awkward timezone people alongside having a lot of irl commitments and i was still able to participate in something everyday without ruining my sleep schedule which is a miracle tbh! obvs this is down to staff hosting so many events each day, which was universally massively appreciated, so thank you so much again as it helps everyone feel included/ doing their bit for the team i also loved the salmon run egg collection and shiny hunting events as it allowed us to earn points in our own time flexibly if we weren't able to make a scheduled event - i would love to see more things like this in the future where possible!!

and of course, thank you especially to the lovely, supportive, caring yoshi islanders going to miss our wee discord channel a lot, who will i turn to for emotional support now LOL, jokes aside, please don't be a stranger, my dms are always open

Regarding the dates/times for these collectibles: we have decided to accept date/time change requests for the non-tradeable collectibles earned by winning something. This will also be the case for collectibles earned from future events. For TBTWC 2024, this includes only the trophy collectibles: gold, silver, bronze, and the Squirtle Squad crown.

If you'd like to change the date/time for one of these collectibles, please make a thread in the Contact the Staff board with the name of your collectible(s) and the date and time you'd like to change them to. Please only pick a day during the current week (June 2nd - 8th) and specify a time in the EDT timezone. We will not look at your other collectibles, so please give us the exact date and time you want. Thanks!

Reminder that our Celebrating Diversity event kicks off in two days time on June 7th. This will be lead by myself with support from @Mick, so I hope you're not sick of us yet(!)

No way Chris! I've been to a lot of different forums and other social platforms where the people in charge are super strict and almost unapproachable. All of the staff here are so chill and easy to get along with. Thank you all for making this a fun event! I know it took a lot of work and planning, but I enjoyed it a lot!

Huge congrats to the Squirtle Squad! A very well deserved win! Your organization and commitment were obvious, as was your enthusiasm!

Shout out to Yoshi's Islanders, Ha-Cha!, and of course, my fabulous Poyo Puffs as well! All of the teams pulled off some impressive feats deserving of recognition, but the best part was just getting to hang out with you all.

Congratulations are also in order to all 4 MVP's! You all deserve some rest, especially you @digimon. You always seemed to be available to fill in whenever a Poyo Puff was needed.

Shout out to @C:Sphere for representing the Poyo Puffs in the SSBU Tournament and taking 2nd place! Congrats to all the other tournament winners too!

Thank you to the Poyo Puffs for being such an amazing team! @Mistreil, you were the best co-captain! Your little drawings for the team were adorable! @Cheremtasy and @.: Meri :. did a wonderful job creating our aesthetic! @Foreverfox coordinated ACNH friendlies within the team! And even though I can't name everyone, you were all so lovely and upbeat through the entire event. I couldn't have asked for a better team!

Finally, I want to thank each and every one of you for making this event a success! Staff may do the planning and hosting, but it's also your participation, the excitement and good vibes that you bring, and the camaraderie and good sportsmanship that make TBTWC so enjoyable.

This event was phenomenal! I enjoyed a great variety of activities and made new friends along the way. @Mokuren, @Dunquixote, @Aquilla, @Vhoop, and @skarmoury, thank you for joining me for countless hours to goof around while shiny-hunting and playing Splatoon 3! It's strange returning to Splatoon 3 now - I am trying to hold myself back from throwing eggs near the basket, haha.

May these five little golden eggs that now stand in my lineup serve as a memory of our fun time together during TBTWC (with many more memories to come)!

@Midoriya and @Dim, thank you for the amazing battles! Midoriya, I am glad I was able to gift you your sweet shiny competitive Dragapult, and Dim, YOUR superb shiny Dragapult, Wisp, will forever receive all the hugs and pats from me! Sweet baby did so well!

And of course, congratulations to all the winners, and Squirtle Squad!! We did so well! Thank you to everyone who supported and cheered for our team! I appreciated all the cheers I received as well!

Finally, thank you to the staff for hosting and streaming the numerous games, and for organizing such a fun time for us all!

I'm a bit late since I wanted to give the post the attention it deserved but kind of lost track of time. So, without further ado...

Yay Squirtles! All of our hard work and perseverance paid off! Everyone did a great job! Thank you to everyone who participated and made the win possible. Special thanks to:

- Jhine7 for all the hard work, making it into the Top 5 Points earners overall, and for your amazing Mario Kart 8 playing! Congratulations as well for being on all 4 winning teams in team competitions thus far! The lineup looks great!

- Shellzilla_515, another great Mario Kart 8 player!

- Firesquids for all of the shiny Pokémon. The army of Dunsparce and Dudunsparce was amazing.

- Hyoon for all of the shiny Pokémon as well.

- Xara for her tireless support of the Moo Moos and helping to make Moo Moo Meadows a new TBT meme favorite track like Baby Park.

- Our team leaders ~Kilza~ and Pyoopi. You two were awesome! Thank you for your belief in us throughout the competition and especially ~Kilza~'s encouragement which I'm sure helped us all stay motivated and was especially helpful to me since I'm a bit self-deprecating when I do poorly. Thank you for hosting games as well!

Once more, thank you to everyone on the team! Even if I didn't give a specific mention here, I appreciate your efforts in making our victory possible. It was a blast hanging out with you all and I'm glad to have been a member of the Squirtle Squad.

Great job by the Yoshi's Islanders! Your early lead was intimidating and motivated us to go harder. The final days, too, were nervewracking as you really went in on the shiny Pokémon and did quite well in many of the games and trivia. Up until the results were revealed I was pretty sure you might've overtaken us at the end. I'd say we brought out the best in each other and made for fantastic rivals!

Thank you to all of the Staff who put this together and made it happen, who put in ridiculous hours and missed out on quality sleep time to host game sessions. Thank you to the ever-talented artists who designed the beautiful collectibles.

Sad that I was Going Thru It (TM) for the first half of this event and out of the country on vacation for the second half, so I didn't have time to participate that said, good job Squirtles, let's goooo that's my team

Just came on here for fun and if I had a Switch, I would've played....i'm sure I would've had a game to play with you all.

And the TRUE ending of it all....I finally get my Switch back this month (hopefully as soon as this Sunday) because...I MISS MY SWITCH SOOOOO MUCH! I mean, the person who currently has it (my brother) doesn't even use online. The nerve. I think i'm going to put a sticker on it this time around (It's a gray Switch Lite in case anyone is wondering) and I will reinvest in NSO for either three months or a year.
