Because of my situation right now, I prefer glasses. Though I do like wearing contacts. You don't have to worry about them falling off your face, and your scope of vision is widened with contacts. Only downside is that contacts dry your eyes out.

I prefer contacts for few reasons. My first reason is purely vanity. I simply do not suit glasses. I am so jealous of girls who can look super cute in glasses ugh, but I just look like a hot mess. Also I do a lot of face masks and having your glasses get in the way is just annoying. No matter how careful I am the frames always get rimmed with face mask :n: Also I do regular hair oils and the oil tends to make the glasses slip off my ears >.> which is hella annoying when you've always got your head down in books. So yeah contacts are just way easier for me.
And yeah I'm also one of those people who wears a face full o'makeup everywhere, everyday and my sight is literally SO BAD I can't see to do my eyeliner and eyeshadow with my glasses off. And trying to do eye makeup with your glasses on is nigh on impossible. Trust.
Actually in retrospect all my reasons for wearing contacts are purely vanity related. Oops.

Well I wanted a pair of Ray Bans (2012 hipster phase woo) but the lady who was selling me the glasses was like 'nah they're too big for your face' and she kept trying to get me to buy a pair of Ted Baker ones (my current pair). And I live in the middle of nowhere and I had to travel an hour to the nearest opticians with a decent selection of glasses (i.e. glasses that DON'T look like something a 70 y/o would wear) and I was worried I was going to miss my train home so I was just like 'yeah whatever I'll take them' because this woman would not take 'no' for an answer. So that's how I ended up with them.

I need glasses/contacts all the time. The only time I don't need them is when I'm asleep. I have to wear contacts in the bath or else I'll nick my fingers with the razor when I'm shaving because my sight is that bad. I normally wear my contacts if I'm going out the house/doing one of the activities I described earlier, and I wear my glasses if I'm just chilling at home all day.

I don't wear glasses, I wouldn't say I have absolute perfect 20/20 vision since I occassionaly have trouble seeing, but I wouldn't say it's bad to the point of wearing glasses.
