I wear either depending on what I have to do that day, but I usually end up wearing glasses because my eyes are so dry.

Super nearsighted, I can only see things about 15 cm or less from my face clearly...

I definitely need them for everyday activities lol -

i should be using them everyday. i have two pairs of glasses, one for reading and the other for everything else. i hardly wear them though and i lose them a lot. i only started wearing glasses at 17 because i never bothered for an eye test until it started to really bother me, the guy told me to do eye training but i never did that, i can cope with not wearing glasses because my eyesight isnt too bad and i guess ive dealt with it all my life it just gets annoying sometimes

Glasses because I think they look better on me, as I feel like I have too much space around my face and I feel like my eyes are too far apart , so I think they help to frame my face much better, and I also don't really want anything in my eyes, haha

Why did you choose your particular style of glasses? My last pair of glasses were cat eye and were rounded at the bottoms, and I thought they looked really nice on me. I also found that rounder glasses seemed to be pretty in style, and I wanted to try some (I think rounded frames look better on me than squares, which I wouldn't have figured out without trying them owo)

Mine are for every day activities, as my main issue is astigmatism c: I can kind of see without my glasses, but reading words on anything (board, signs, reading, any words on tv, literally anything) is nearly impossible for me, lol

I personally prefer glasses and only wore contacts once or twice before to try it out for activities and sports. I realise I can play sports just fine with a glasses-band. Contacts dry your eyes out and can be a hazard and dangerous when playing sports (potentially blind you if something hits your contacts while it is in your eye).

I'm very nearsighted. My power is more than 400 on both sides

Carbon fiber. It's extremely light weight!

Why did you choose your particular style of glasses?
I've always liked light glasses and when I chanced upon a carbon fiber frame, I couldn't pass the oppurtunity. This was close to 2 years ago

I am dependant on them otherwise I'm close to near blind lol and will live in a blurry reality. Not to mention, I won't be able to drive or get around anymore!

Frankly, I don't like the thought of putting something into my eyes, and I'm not opposed to glasses, even though the difference between both of my eyes is too big to be fully corrected that way.

I've always felt inclined towards this type, but I never knew what exactly they were called. After my first ones, I settled for this style after some consideration.

I'm more or less blind without glasses (which didn't keep me from not wearing any permanently until about two years ago).

When I was younger I wanted contacts desperately because I thought I looked horrible with glasses. And I did. But I recently found some really nice frames that fit my face well and I wouldn't trade them for contacts since they make me feel confident and I think they're cute af.

I think I started out as farsighted(?) where I needed glasses to see the whiteboard in school and anything far away. But now my vision has gotten progressively worse and I can't see anything more than 8 inches (20.5cm) away from my face, I just measured right now haha. It honestly sucks that I need to wear my glasses at all times to do anything at all, and when I don't have them on they're impossible to find because they're so thin and see-through.

I've got these really cute oval wire-metal glasses. They're not as trendy as those cute square or big circle ones, but they're still cute as all hell!

I’m nearsighted and have both glasses and contacts but I only wear contacts for special occasions. I can’t be bothered to put them in everyday and I sometimes get dry eye due to allergies so they can get uncomfortable. I wear cat eye glasses that are hombre in color (dark on top and gradually lighter at the bottom). I chose them because they fit the shape of my face best.

I prefer contacts. Glasses make my cheeks look puffier and they’re a pain to clean.

I’m nearsighted. Anything beyond half a foot looks blurry to me.

Mainly because the frames are less noticeable on larger glasses.

Do you need to use your glasses/contacts for everyday activities or just for reading (or for something else)? I was born with esotropia and for some reason glasses reduce my double vision. As a result I wear my glasses all day, even when I’m reading in bed.

I'm wearing glasses, but I would love to get contacts. I don't hate glasses because of how I look in them, but it is just so annoying to maintain. There is constantly dust on my glasses and it is annoying to take it off and clean it every few minutes. Also, when hot there is fog on it and it drives me nuts because it keeps coming back.
