Do you prefer contacts or glasses? Why or why not? Glasses, please! I have really shaky hands, so a lot of times I end up poking myself while putting on contacts.
Are you nearsighted or farsighted? Nearsighted.
What kind of glasses do you have (round, square, oval, ect.)? Square.
Are they plastic or metal? Metal.
Why did you choose your particular style of glasses? I fell in love with the shape and they looked pretty good on me, whilst the others look horribly gaudy.
Do you need to use your glasses/contacts for everyday activities or just for reading (or for something else)? I need them for everything.

Why did you choose your particular style of glasses? I didn't put much thought into it since I don't usually wear them instead of contacts. I just made sure I could see out of them well.
Do you need to use your glasses/contacts for everyday activities or just for reading (or for something else)? I'm basically useless without contacts or glasses on. :(
 
I prefer glasses.I don't want to put anything in my eye.

Farsighted

I have plastic oval shaped glasses.They just looked the best on me.

I have only needed glasses for the last 5 years.It got difficult to play my ds, crossword puzzles, etc.My eyes seem to get worse every year.I used to wear them when just reading, etc, but now i need them all the time.
 
Do you prefer contacts or glasses? Why or why not? Overall I prefer glasses. My eyes are pretty sensitive plus contacts are more expensive, but I'll still wear them for certain occasions.

Current pair on top are extremely lightweight plastic I believe & the lens are secured by small wires drilled into the lens (look near nose piece). They're pretty invisible on my face imo -> http://i.imgur.com/wJsefAS.png
Older pair on the bottom are made out of titanium, I love the nose piece.
Why did you choose your particular style of glasses? They suit my facial structure & they're both designer labels.

Why did you choose your particular style of glasses?: I didn't want any with patterns or anything, and black goes with everything!
Do you need to use your glasses/contacts for everyday activities or just for reading (or for something else)?: Just anything that requires looking at something from a distance. [tv, computer, ect.]

Are they plastic or metal?: I've had metal and prefer them but my hair always got tangled in them D:< so I switched to plastic.
Why did you choose your particular style of glasses?: I wanted something simple and won't clash with most so a black pair it is

Because of my situation right now, I prefer glasses. Though I do like wearing contacts. You don't have to worry about them falling off your face, and your scope of vision is widened with contacts. Only downside is that contacts dry your eyes out.

I am nearsighted because I sat too close to the TV as a child (or that's what my parents told me).

Square glasses.

I believe that they are metal.

I thought they were in style. I think they are but I don't know/care anymore.

I use them to see, everything.
 
I perfer glassess because I can't imagine what'll happen if I sleep in them

Contacts. They offer better vision, they have no visible edges, and 3D movies are not a pain.

Plastic. Metal hurts after a while.

Big lenses have a wider range of coverage.

I'll wear my contacts if I'm going out somewhere but working from home means I'm usually slumming it and that includes not using my contacts. Glasses are easier on my eyes but I hate being able to see the edges of them on my face...and when they get smudgy!

Why did you choose your particular style of glasses? I have friends that handmade wood veneer sunglasses so I had a pair with my lenses put in. For the style, the shape is much more flattering on my face.

Glasses. I'm scared of contacts because I don't like touching my eyes, because, that's gross. Though, glasses can get annoying, with all that dust that collects in such little time..

Squares. Rounded edges, though. I have two pairs, but my second pair is kind of.. off? It just doesn't look right and hurts my eyes.

They didn't look stupid like I thought the other ones did. I just wanted simple ones that didn't havs a lot of color and stand out.

I prefer contacts for few reasons. My first reason is purely vanity. I simply do not suit glasses. I am so jealous of girls who can look super cute in glasses ugh, but I just look like a hot mess. Also I do a lot of face masks and having your glasses get in the way is just annoying. No matter how careful I am the frames always get rimmed with face mask :n: Also I do regular hair oils and the oil tends to make the glasses slip off my ears >.> which is hella annoying when you've always got your head down in books. So yeah contacts are just way easier for me.
And yeah I'm also one of those people who wears a face full o'makeup everywhere, everyday and my sight is literally SO BAD I can't see to do my eyeliner and eyeshadow with my glasses off. And trying to do eye makeup with your glasses on is nigh on impossible. Trust.
Actually in retrospect all my reasons for wearing contacts are purely vanity related. Oops.

I am technically nearsighted but literally I cannot see anything clearly unless it's about 2 inches away from my face. My eyesight sucks majorly.

Black Ted Baker ones, they're kinda rectangular with rounded edges.

Why did you choose your particular style of glasses?
Well I wanted a pair of Ray Bans (2012 hipster phase woo) but the lady who was selling me the glasses was like 'nah they're too big for your face' and she kept trying to get me to buy a pair of Ted Baker ones (my current pair). And I live in the middle of nowhere and I had to travel an hour to the nearest opticians with a decent selection of glasses (i.e. glasses that DON'T look like something a 70 y/o would wear) and I was worried I was going to miss my train home so I was just like 'yeah whatever I'll take them' because this woman would not take 'no' for an answer. So that's how I ended up with them.

I need glasses/contacts all the time. The only time I don't need them is when I'm asleep. I have to wear contacts in the bath or else I'll nick my fingers with the razor when I'm shaving because my sight is that bad. I normally wear my contacts if I'm going out the house/doing one of the activities I described earlier, and I wear my glasses if I'm just chilling at home all day.

Are they plastic or metal? They're plastic with metal and rubber at the end so you can adjust them to fit your head better.

Why did you choose your particular style of glasses? Duh, they're Gucci! And I love thick, square frames.

Do you need to use your glasses/contacts for everyday activities or just for reading (or for something else)? I need them for driving, to see in class, and to watch TV/play games on my TV. I overall just need them for distance, so I wear them often.

I don't wear glasses, I wouldn't say I have absolute perfect 20/20 vision since I occassionaly have trouble seeing, but I wouldn't say it's bad to the point of wearing glasses.

I'm very squeamish about touching my eyes, and while putting them on is fine with me, taking them out is an entirely different story :< Also, I've heard a lot of horror stories about them, either from friends or from the internet, for example that one girl who left her contacts in for 6 months, and amoebas ate her eye ?

Rectangular, Black, but not like.... hipster thick. Stereotypical librarian glasses.

Metal, they are heavier. Especially the nose piece has to be metal. (I am very picky!)
