Could the staff remember to delete all the raffle tickets after an event ended? And set the date of purchased tickets to be as old as possible?
It's annoying having to manage these raffle tickets when planning line ups since all the collectible information is displayed as a list.
Speaking of user own collectibles, is it possible to display them as a table instead.
We just did a mass discard of over 2500 raffle tickets going back years, so that should help!! For the future, we will try and remember to have raffle tickets discard themselves after some time. It's just one of those million different minor details that have to be remembered and taken care of for every event which easily get missed.
Since there’s a place to share artworks on this forum. Do you think there could be a dedicated place to share fanfiction/write down a short quick fan fic. Maybe in the Museum forum somewhere, or something. Sure there may be specific rules that are needed, but I think this could be a good idea for those who may want to share a small story that had in mind with certain characters and don’t have/don’t want to make a whole fanfic, wattpad, Ao3 account.
And maybe it could be used to also get feed back for fanfics that users have posted elsewhere, too
I think you can make a thread for your fanfiction in the Museum. I've seen people use their Museum threads to share writings, and I've also posted a short story in my art thread once.
Correct, we already consider The Museum board to be suitable for all sorts of creative work, not just drawn art.
I see that you can now only discard one collectible at a time. That should resolve the problem of accidentally discarding all of your favorite collectibles.
I do hope that raffle tickets have a short duration though.
We did remove the bulk discord option a couple weeks ago, after a few more incidents by members recently of accidental bulk discards of important items. Obviously, a confirmation window would be ideal, but this is a quick effective fix as I don't think bulk discard is used often outside of raffle tickets.
It's now nearing two years since the change, and while the other character collectibles have grown on me in that time, I will say that Jack really hasn't. So I'm now begging you staff, please change him back!

Or at the very least can we make him work better with the other pumpkin collectibles? Jack's redesign just doesn't look right with them, he's very flat.
(He's also suffering from the same issue that some of the other redesigned character collectibles had in that one side of his face is too straight and not rounded like the other side. ) Obviously I don't mean to insult whoever did the redesign, but I just still can't abide this change.
No need to worry about insulting anyone, the artwork is by Nintendo! Well, it was my decision to update them to use the newer Nintendo art, so you can insult me for that -- but I don't mind! It was done to both make use of newer villagers from New Horizons while remaining consistent, but also for another reason which we aren't talking about yet... but hopefully soon! Given how long it's been, with hindsight now, I probably got ahead of myself making the change at that point.
Now in regard to Jack specifically, after seeing the reaction from everyone, we definitely did discuss on staff whether we should make an exception for Jack and specifically design a version that more closely matches the other pumpkins. Just didn’t get around to it, but it's worth revisiting I think and thank you for bringing it to our attention again
Though I do think there is a bit of a misunderstanding here — I don't believe the other pumpkin collectibles were ever meant to be explicitly ‘matching’ to Jack. I see the character collectibles as an entirely different set of items, especially as they are just using the art from Nintendo. Clearly that is not how you guys see it though, so again, noted. We’ll see.
Separately, I understand what you mean about some of the faces -- it's just a matter of sloppy resizing on my part. I'll take another look at that too, but it will also be somewhat addressed by that other unspoken reason later.
