I'm about 70% moved into my new house! Got the necessities set up including my bed, so now all that's left is moving the furniture that I don't need right away and some other nitbits once my bank account recovers a bit.

☾ Cannot believe I forgot to include this yesterday because I love it and was super hyped about it getting here akjfslgfjfdl, but I got this really cute polymer clay Master Ball charm from Etsy yesterday!! ;v; I got it to put on my 3DS and I’m just really happy with it aaa

☾ I’ve been working on some art today, and I’m happy with how it’s coming along!

☾ Got some spending money for Christmas from my aunt!! Gonna wait until after Christmas ofc but I’ve already got some ideas on what to spend it on eeeee

I have one final happy post to make before Christmas. So, some of you may remember a TBT event from one or several Christmases ago where we had to take pictures of our decorated trees with our usernames included in the shot in order to earn event currency. Well, with my family all suffering from ailing backs, I brought down the same Christmas tree from that event this year from the attic, and put it together myself. I was able to figure it out relatively quickly, and it looks beautiful. For some reason the song "My Heart Will Go On" by Celion Dion from the Titanic movie was playing in my head while I was setting it up, I think just because it reminded me of my mom and all the people who have supported me and been kind to me in the past.

I couldn't stop pacing before I started getting ready for bed tonight. Despite running on an hour or less of sleep today, I just felt so energized and like it overruled any tiredness I could have felt. But I think it's mostly because my Christmas spirit is BACK!!!!!! And I have everyone here plus some people in-real-life to thank for it. From our house to yours, Merry Christmas, TBT!

p.s. I also got to talk with my bestie more today, and the Dallas Mavericks absolutely CRUSHED the Portland Trailblazers tonight 132-108 the final to move to 19-10 on the season and stay comfortably in the 4th seed in the NBA Western Conference.

A few of my old friends are in town for Christmas, and we got together for a nice dinner. It was a great time, and I feel really content.

I went over to my uncle's house for dinner. My aunt asked if I wanted my present to take home or have her keep it for me to open at Christmas dinner. I told her she didn't have to give me a present, but I appreciate it and that it was up to her. Well she decided to let me take the gift home to put under my tree.

They didn't just get me one gift, they got me 6! Plus they were in a cat tote bag which I collect :") They told me I do a lot for this family and my cousin's kids love me to death too and they picked some out.

I just feel extra loved.

I finished the last bit of my stocking yesterday (I was gonna make some art of their oc, but that's something I'll do another time I am feeling upto it), so after work I can get it all ready and upload everything!!

Just one more hour and a half at work, and I'll be off for two days! Glad to hear my boss closes on boxing day, cause im sure my other job never did.

Feeling a lil better each day.

My sister is treating me and my mum to KFC for dinner, can't wait! Glad my stomach is better enough for it.

- It was my last day of work yesterday, I'm officially on Christmas break until 7th January when I start my new job Then, only 10 months to go before I start my big year of travel
- Having a relaxing Christmas eve! Had a beef madras w/ rice and lamb samosas, currently drinking a mocha coffee
- My Christmas shopping is basically done now, thankfully

I was able to get my stocking done in time (I think)! It was really fun to do, but I had the great idea to do a painting (I don't like painting at all lmaoo) but I'm actually happy with how it turned out! I can't wait 'til the reveal

Happy because holidays!! I am still lowkey swamped but I don't care I love this time of year, give me the lights and decorations! The weather even decided to snow (the one week I enjoy it) so it looks like it's gonna stay a white Christmas. ^^

I ended up going downtown yesterday and finally got to try this poutine that I've been wanting to try for months because it's supposedly the best in the city (and the gravy is veggie!). It was so good!! Next to it there was also an onigiri place so I impulse bought a few of those that were also a tasty treat (still have a couple leftover in the fridge so looking forward to snacking on them today).

And also slightly older things.

In general haven't been on TBT for a couple months because busy, so it was a real surprise to come online a couple days ago and be greeted with lights and a present, (and also a present today too), thank you so much for thinking about me Grace, Yoshi, Dun, Kiza, Meri.

Like a monthish ago, someone dmed me asking if they can make a nail set based on some of my older holiday art, and I was like yeah sure, please send pics if you do, and promptly forgot (because I never remember anything from like two hours prior let alone a month iksebrfksbkdfbakdbak), and a couple weeks ago I got the biggest surprise when they sent the pictures of the nails and they were SO CUTE. I don't want to share the picture here out of respect since they only dmed me and didn't see it posted publicly, but looking at the pic makes me smile so much.

Also a monthish ago I had entered the little art contest because the theme of it was really cute, and ended up winning first place. That part not so relevant since it's an old happy, but because of the CP strike, I had to reroute the prize to my brother. I finally got them a couple days ago when he flew in.

And also this one is a midnight/tomorrow happy I guess, but this year I finally talked my mom down to buying one gift for one person so we all have something to open but not deal with having to buy gifts for everyone (our family is one of those impossible to shop for each other types ). So my dad and I were buying for each other and decided to simplify it further and each just bought our own gift to give the other to wrap. I decided to go practical with what I got myself, a monitor stand so my desk can finally have some level of organization. I am so ready to finally set it up and have a normal office set up that isn't the mess that I currently am working with--I really hope it will actually fit my monitor how I'm imagining sjfbkjs.

I don't have to work today or tomorrow which is pretty nice. I kind of thought I'd be working today but I'm glad i have today off. I think I am going to bake those elf cookies I have in the freezer tonight.

I completed my Christmas shopping, I did not buy for a lot of people this year which made it super easy. I just need to wrap my moms present and then I'll be ready for tomorrow.

• I had a lovely day yesterday and today! I keep thinking it's Saturday or Sunday!
• I’ve finally had some free time to myself! Planning to start playing Super Mario Jamboree and Stray soon. I’ve had them since release day and still not played them yet! I played ACNH on 2 of my islands and managed to help Jingle and give gifts to all villagers. I did boot up New Leaf to try and help Jingle, but couldn’t do it as I didn’t have all the clothing! I didn’t mind as I was worried that Buck would have moved out as I hadn’t played since the ‘Farewell to New Leaf’ TBT event, but thankfully all my residents were still there! I was extremely relieved, as Buck’s house is near door to mine!
• It's been fun to see in Fitness Boxing 3, my trainer Bernardo wearing reindeer antlers for Christmas!
• Listened to lots of Christmas music and watched some Christmas television specials.
• It’s been pouring with rain all day, so Blossom and I have had a lot of inside play time. I taped a huge piece of wrapping paper across a door and opened the door. She didn’t know what to make of it! It was so funny, I made a hole in it and poked cheese through it to her! Eventually, it ripped and she walked through it as if it were a cat flap! Also, got Blossom’s presents wrapped.
• Bought L.A. Noire and Little Friends: Puppy Island from the Nintendo Shop.
• Had so much fun exchanging gifts with the awesome members here, but especially their messages!

I was named The Nisse!! That was a very fun, happy surprise! It was completely unplanned as I was waiting to gift when others I had committed to had enough snowflakes. So it was a happy accident. Since I know I can never win any of the events (not an artist, lol) This was amazing!
