What Are You Happy About Today?

• My sister and niece came over for Christmas. My sister loved the astrology book I got her and my niece loved the music theory for bass players book I got her. They got me a Steve Madden Purse/wallet and winter beanie set, and brought some lasagna and rum cake. It was a good Christmas
• I'm getting back into a good routine with practicing violin
• Been sleeping great lately, go to sleep around 9:30pm and wake up at around 6:30am when Mustachio wakes me up
• I forget if I mentioned this but my neighbor got my cat Mustachio a bag of temptations treats for Christmas which was very sweet of her. It's Mustachio's favorite kind too! Catnip Fever
• The rum cake my sister made is really good. It's a black rum cake, it's really dense and good. The first time I took a bite it was super strong due to the alcohol in it but I've gotten used to it and it tastes really good. She did warn me it was super strong, she wasn't kidding lol Also the lasagna she made was amazing. Haven't had lasagna that good since our mom was alive. She cooks really good just like our mom did
• Get to talk on the phone with my friend later today, looking forward to that. Got to talk to him on Christmas day too so that was nice
• Hope you all had a wonderful holiday season whatever you may celebrate and wish you all a very happy New Year

- Met up with my friend today and went into town to grab some food and do some errands together I got a really nice card off of him and he gave me his old driving theory book as a Christmas gift because I'll be learning to drive this year (hopefully)
- Did a workout
- Finally had some cheese and crackers!
- Generally just been chilling out and giving myself a rest for Christmas break

Today's been pretty great!

- I got up early and have my favorite coffee drink. Was able to get up on time when I wanted to.

- Work has been going well and I've been covering for someone the last couple days, and will continue to do so next week. I've been gaining valuable experience and am learning a lot.

- I completed Asaba Harumasa's story quest in Zenless Zone Zero last night, and it was very interesting and enjoyable.

- I was gifted a special kind of toothpaste for Christmas that you can swallow and it dissolves in your mouth. I'm going to be ordering a new electric toothbrush using the Amazon gift card and money I received as well, so hooray for dental care!

- The Dallas Mavericks play the Phoenix Suns in Phoenix tonight. It'll be a tough game with Luka Doncic being injured, but will be interesting to see if they can win.

I’m happy that I’m home from grocery shopping. I’m extremely tired since I hardly got any sleep because I was anxious about going out and had to get up early, but I’m much better now I’m home and got that out of the way.

My sister shared some dumplings she made with me when I was at her house .

I got a message from @skarmoury today; really made me happy to hear from her .

I’m ready for Among Us again . Reading comments and messages on christmas lights that I received about how much people enjoyed the sessions, really has made me so happy. I’m looking forward to playing more with everyone .

Yesterday, was an off day but I was able to get some sketching done for a draw the user above you request; I really am liking this apple stylus. It feels so much easier to draw than the cheap on that I had been using.

I got a new cable for my ipad & apple pencil today when grocery shopping; I’m hoping that that will solve the issues I’m having with it .

Earlier, when I was still waking up, Spanky wanted some snuggles. I was really sad to have to get up because she was so cute .I’ve been having fun playing with my girls and watching them play with their new toys.

@Kirbyz just surprised me with a gingerbread house and with a really sweet message .

I’ve been having some nice chats with @Xara @Giddy @KittenNoir. Got to see an adorable Bonk and Ziba pictures too recently .

I got a lot done in Genshin lately; I don’t think I’ll be able to get all the rewards for this limited time thing going on (something to do with exploring parts of Natlan) but I got at least some of the primogems; also got some more from codes on the hoyolab app which I redownloaded. A few days ago, I started working on the one area in Fontaine that I never finished the quests for and I think I’m enjoying it more than I had at the time it was released.

☾ I finished some art I’d been working on today!! I still have a lot more ideas I wanna draw asjdfghgflhfks but I’m trying to keep my WIPs in check!!

☾ I came up with my resolutions for 2025! I’m doing a bingo card this time around, and hopefully gamifying it will make completing my resolutions fun/low-pressure!! especially since I’m not like. trying to complete the whole card LOL

☾ I played Pocket Camp Complete for a bit this evening! I finished the goals for the spider crab event and also unlocked the memory from Fauna’s fortune cookie!

☾ Watched SmallishBeans’ Minecraft Guess the Build video with my parents!

- I got the game sun haven for the switch. I had some money left over from a switch gift card so I thought why not give it a try

- my mom and my partner really enjoyed their Christmas gifts. Over all it was a good Christmas and now I have a bunch of left over turkey soup to freeze

- those Terry's chocolate oranges were on sale at the store for only $2.55 which is pretty good considering they were almost 7 bucks each before christmas

I've stayed up until midnight twice watching anime with a sibling on the couch.

The holidays are my favorite time of year for this reason. It's nice to just hang out. Oh, but if only I saw my immediate family more frequently. My siblings are all split up across the map.

It's been a few days since I last posted here, so I will be doing some catching up.

December 23rd - A friend of mine asked another artist to draw me with my comfort character/fictional other. It was like a nice Christmas gift.

December 24th - @S.J. gave me some holiday lights, so thank you if you are writing this Also, I went to the store with my dad, while he got me half of my Christmas money (he had already bought the other half, each have $200 on them) and then we picked up Olive Garden for lunch. I ate spaghetti and some breadsticks!

December 25th - It was actually pretty uneventful. Usually, my dad's parents would come over and we would have a meal together (though I skipped the one in 2021, as I do not like chili), but he had already done a lot of cooking for the gathering four days prior. Instead, I think my dad plans for us to go over there for lunch on New Years Eve. ^-^

HOWEVER, he did cook some tacos, which I enjoy. I also watched a hilarious Christmas-esque SuperMarioLogan/SML video that had released a few days before. It was a school play one (which I love that series, because the songs are so catchy and good). This one parodied some Christmas carols. The song that parodied "We Wish You a Merry Christmas" was so hilarious and badass.

Me and my friend @AshtonDraws also did a Christmas trade where I wrote for him and he drew for me. I had him draw my main OC ship doing a gift exchange.

December 26th - A friend and I discussed some future writing plans for WattPad. We discussed possibly trying to do a book trade again, where we write fan-fiction books for each other's self ships. We agreed that it would be best to focus on our own projects for now, but later next year, we are definitely considering it. ^_^

December 27th - I had Arby's for lunch. They have burgers now. Also my remaining $100 arrived. It was an Apple gift card, since regular gift cards have started getting declined on Apple services, so it feels nice to have it at least in Apple gift card form. ^_^

I also pulled for Firefly Eidolons on a whim today in Honkai: Star Rail, and ended up winning the 50/50 for all six Eidolons in a row with no losses in-between. I know 4 in a row is already a pretty low chance, so I'm not even sure what 6 in a row is percentage-wise. My RNG will never be this good in anything again.

Lastly, I had fun with the kittens that were here the past couple days. They're so rambunctious and adorable when I get to see them.
