I’m happy that I’m home from grocery shopping. I’m extremely tired since I hardly got any sleep because I was anxious about going out and had to get up early, but I’m much better now I’m home and got that out of the way.

My sister shared some dumplings she made with me when I was at her house .

I got a message from @skarmoury today; really made me happy to hear from her .

I’m ready for Among Us again . Reading comments and messages on christmas lights that I received about how much people enjoyed the sessions, really has made me so happy. I’m looking forward to playing more with everyone .

Yesterday, was an off day but I was able to get some sketching done for a draw the user above you request; I really am liking this apple stylus. It feels so much easier to draw than the cheap on that I had been using.

I got a new cable for my ipad & apple pencil today when grocery shopping; I’m hoping that that will solve the issues I’m having with it .

Earlier, when I was still waking up, Spanky wanted some snuggles. I was really sad to have to get up because she was so cute .I’ve been having fun playing with my girls and watching them play with their new toys.

@Kirbyz just surprised me with a gingerbread house and with a really sweet message .

I’ve been having some nice chats with @Xara @Giddy @KittenNoir. Got to see an adorable Bonk and Ziba pictures too recently .

I got a lot done in Genshin lately; I don’t think I’ll be able to get all the rewards for this limited time thing going on (something to do with exploring parts of Natlan) but I got at least some of the primogems; also got some more from codes on the hoyolab app which I redownloaded. A few days ago, I started working on the one area in Fontaine that I never finished the quests for and I think I’m enjoying it more than I had at the time it was released.

☾ I came up with my resolutions for 2025! I’m doing a bingo card this time around, and hopefully gamifying it will make completing my resolutions fun/low-pressure!! especially since I’m not like. trying to complete the whole card LOL

☾ I played Pocket Camp Complete for a bit this evening! I finished the goals for the spider crab event and also unlocked the memory from Fauna’s fortune cookie!

☾ Watched SmallishBeans’ Minecraft Guess the Build video with my parents!

- I got the game sun haven for the switch. I had some money left over from a switch gift card so I thought why not give it a try

- my mom and my partner really enjoyed their Christmas gifts. Over all it was a good Christmas and now I have a bunch of left over turkey soup to freeze

- those Terry's chocolate oranges were on sale at the store for only $2.55 which is pretty good considering they were almost 7 bucks each before christmas

I've stayed up until midnight twice watching anime with a sibling on the couch.

The holidays are my favorite time of year for this reason. It's nice to just hang out. Oh, but if only I saw my immediate family more frequently. My siblings are all split up across the map.

It's been a few days since I last posted here, so I will be doing some catching up.

December 23rd - A friend of mine asked another artist to draw me with my comfort character/fictional other. It was like a nice Christmas gift.

December 24th - @S.J. gave me some holiday lights, so thank you if you are writing this Also, I went to the store with my dad, while he got me half of my Christmas money (he had already bought the other half, each have $200 on them) and then we picked up Olive Garden for lunch. I ate spaghetti and some breadsticks!

December 25th - It was actually pretty uneventful. Usually, my dad's parents would come over and we would have a meal together (though I skipped the one in 2021, as I do not like chili), but he had already done a lot of cooking for the gathering four days prior. Instead, I think my dad plans for us to go over there for lunch on New Years Eve. ^-^

HOWEVER, he did cook some tacos, which I enjoy. I also watched a hilarious Christmas-esque SuperMarioLogan/SML video that had released a few days before. It was a school play one (which I love that series, because the songs are so catchy and good). This one parodied some Christmas carols. The song that parodied "We Wish You a Merry Christmas" was so hilarious and badass.

Me and my friend @AshtonDraws also did a Christmas trade where I wrote for him and he drew for me. I had him draw my main OC ship doing a gift exchange.

December 26th - A friend and I discussed some future writing plans for WattPad. We discussed possibly trying to do a book trade again, where we write fan-fiction books for each other's self ships. We agreed that it would be best to focus on our own projects for now, but later next year, we are definitely considering it. ^_^

December 27th - I had Arby's for lunch. They have burgers now. Also my remaining $100 arrived. It was an Apple gift card, since regular gift cards have started getting declined on Apple services, so it feels nice to have it at least in Apple gift card form. ^_^

- The Dallas Mavericks play the Phoenix Suns in Phoenix tonight. It'll be a tough game with Luka Doncic being injured, but will be interesting to see if they can win.

I normally don't post here at this hour, but I'm SO happy that my guys bounced back tonight for the 98-89 victory against the Suns (apparently Naji Marshall be throwing some hands though )

I also pulled for Firefly Eidolons on a whim today in Honkai: Star Rail, and ended up winning the 50/50 for all six Eidolons in a row with no losses in-between. I know 4 in a row is already a pretty low chance, so I'm not even sure what 6 in a row is percentage-wise. My RNG will never be this good in anything again.

Lastly, I had fun with the kittens that were here the past couple days. They're so rambunctious and adorable when I get to see them.

- I was gifted a special kind of toothpaste for Christmas that you can swallow and it dissolves in your mouth. I'm going to be ordering a new electric toothbrush using the Amazon gift card and money I received as well, so hooray for dental care!

Nice! Hope you find a nice toothbrush I'm trying to get better with dental care, that's one of my new years goals as I've always struggled with it due to mental health. I bought an oral B electric toothbrush recently after using manual my entire life and it makes a huge difference! I also got this expanding floss that like expands when you floss so it cleans better

Just came back from a nice walk in the park with my mum!
We had old bread, monkey nuts and bird seed.

We fed SO many, they must've been so hungry. We had squirrels following us and coming a little too close for their liking (i found it adorable but they shouldnt be too near) and pigeons flew hovered near us.
Crows cawed for their friends to get food. Even met a poor squirrel who had no tail.
I'm so glad we were able to feed them, most of the bird seed left under bushes and tree stumps for smaller birds when they're ready to get some.

Almost finished a diamond painting for my mum and plan to get jnto some of the myth drawings I wanna make!

• Resubscribed to Netflix and am watching Supernatural
• Got a game on my phone called papas mocharia. You make coffees and cannolis for people. It’s really cute and a lot of fun and was only like $1.99 and you get the whole game. Looks like there’s a ton of customers to unlock and stuff to do in it too there’s actually a whole host of Papas games like papas Pizzeria and tons of others maybe when I complete this one 100% I’ll try another one

I had a fun time playing Among Us today; I got to be shapeshifter a couple times .

i tried a yellow kiwi, something I never tried before and I liked it!

Earlier I did some free ticket pulls in a game I play and I got the newest UR ark (the UR arks are extremely rare and are only available in certain banners).

I did some minor touch ups to a room in my teapot in genshin. I forgot I got this cool little book item from an event. It looks a bit out of place with the red and blue colors of the room though; may remove it later. Then again, I also included a green fan since I wanted to use some decorations to represent parts of the Traveler’s adventures since the room is an office; it doesn’t exactly go either. I might trying working more on my teapot; I’m still not satisfied with the options that I have. Not enough choices to make a bedroom aside from the Fontaine themed guest room that I have made.

Happy today because I got to sleep in and went to a nice steakhouse dinner with my family in order to celebrate New Year's Eve (I won't be able to celebrate on the actual day because I'll be pretty busy with work). Ended up having calamari, crab cakes, mashed potatoes, a nice, big carrot, and a REALLY NICE triple scoop sundae for dessert. I don't usually eat sweet things or dessert anymore, so it was definitely a treat. Mavs are also playing the Trailblazers tonight. Not expecting much for this game because we're missing like, 4 or 5 players, but it would be nice if they won. Hope everyone continues to have a good weekend!

I'll most likely be back with things I'm happy about today later this evening, but wanted to catch up on posting for both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day! c:

☾ We visited with family on the 24th and celebrated Christmas at home yesterday! Some of our relatives couldn't make it on Christmas Eve, so we left their presents with my grandparents so they could pick them up later, but my grandparents and everyone who was there seemed to really like their gifts!! ;v; I'm also thrilled with everything I got across both days!!

From grandparents/extended family:
-Red beanie and matching gloves!! They're really soft and the gloves are touchscreen-friendly, which is super convenient!
-Mint/sky blue sweatshirt and a white sweatshirt with ribbon pattern! The one with the black ribbons was shedding a lot alkfdgjfd so hopefully that clears up in the wash I'm wearing the other one now and they both fit nicely!
-Black double-bow hairclip!! I was honestly thinking about cutting my hair soon but I might have to reconsider now, because it seems like this would be easier to wear in long hair and it's so pretty ;w; I've been trying to accessorize more when I go out, so this was perfect!!
-Box of assorted teas! My dad also got some tea, and as per our usual arrangement, I traded him the Earl Grey I got for the green teas he got LOL. I haven't tried all of mine yet, but the ginger peach, Christmas spice, and regular green are really good! There's also Moroccan mint, passion fruit, honey lemon, vanilla chai, and mango tea! I've never liked mango anything though so I will probably pass that box onto someone else
-Classic world map trunk/suitcase!! I love love love the look of old maps so this was super perfect It feels pretty sturdy/nicely-made too!
-A set of twelve brush markers with two tips! It's got a nice selection of colors and I'm sure it'll come in handy for crafts!
-Cat Christmas ornament and Christmas kitty napkins!! We don't have a tree anymore and didn't do any decorating this year, but hopefully we can put the ornament out next year!
-Battery-powered fairy lights!! I love fairy lights and got to test them out yesterday; they covered a lot of space and are nice and bright! I love how cozy fairy lights make my room feel ;w;
-Floral candle and lemon custard body wash! I lit the candle yesterday and I really like the scent, though my nose is sensitive and it got a little strong, so I had to put it out after a few hours ;; It's lovely in small doses though!
-Santa mug (it's huge!!), small tin of Danish butter cookies (MY BELOVED), and some Haribo gummies!

From my parents:
-Larger tin of Danish butter cookies (I am so happy!! these things are so amazing!), strawberry Verona jam cookies (I love these too!!), and boxes of two cookies I hadn't tried before—red currant & cherry puff pastries, and raspberry tartelettes!! I already tried both as you can see from the open boxes and they're both delicious! The puff pastries are very lightly sweet, so they might be my favorites.
-ANIMAL CROSSING ISABELLE SWITCH LITE!!! I've already got it partially set up, but once I'm done with Lostglade, I am so so excited to start making my dream second island, Dandyland, a reality!! It's going to be ridiculous and beautiful... I might attempt a more dedicated island journal for it but. knowing my track record with Lostglade's journal I make no promises
-Grey sweater!! It's super soft and fits me perfectly; I wore it yesterday and honestly wished I could've worn it today too LOL
-Litwick, Chandelure, Phantump, Dusknoir, and Herdier Pokémon Sitting Cuties plushes!!
-Also my parents clearly picked up on my recent obsession with itemLabel, because they got me a cow Peepy (he stole Christmas two years ago), two Sucklets, and a mystery Munmun bag!! ;w; I got the Glee Munmun, but he has a yellow nose instead of the standard pink?? he is very special and currently climbing the corner of my wall. the order also came with a sticker!!

☾ I also got some spending money, which has funded more itemLabel plushes and my preorder of Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma!! ;v; I don't import things nearly as often as I used to sobs but I went for the European limited edition!! the box art is far superior to the North American Earth Dancer edition imo. v glad region locks are a thing of the past

☾ My parents and I watched SolidarityGaming's and Skizzleman's Minecraft Guess the Build videos!!

☾ I started another sketch (my WIPs are piling up... help) and I'm really happy with how it's coming along!! I only have a bit left so I'll probably finish that today ( ･ ᗜ ･ )b

☾ The reveal for Balverine's Secret Santa event happened yesterday!! I got lovely art of one of my characters from spawnpoint, and was included in -Blue-'s adorable group Peanuts-style art!! ;w; It was so much fun looking through everyone's pieces and seeing their reactions, and I'm so glad Airysuit liked the art I did for her!!

☾ I love the revealed gift collectibles from the Season of Giving event!! and just v happy about all the money raised for charity. I also got a stocking from BetsySundrop, and I'm really happy that Digi and Xara liked the stockings I made for them!! I wish I'd had the time/energy to do more stockings, they were a lot of fun to work on ;v;

ok this post is a mile long now but I think?? that's everything?? hopefully I'm not forgetting anything but I should be back later this evening anyway!!

Goodness gracious, this might be the largest post you've ever made in this thread, Meri! That's quite a huge haul of presents you have there. I wouldn't mind taking the mango tea and trying it out since mangoes are one of my favourite fruits. Also, I misread Verona as Veronica, so she may have turned into a strawberry jam cookie rip.

The Secret Santa Art Exchange drawings were revealed, and I got a very cool drawing of my fursona Crisp from @Shellzilla_515!! (sorry for pinging you again, I'm just so elated!!) I am very surprised he went out of his way to include all these special little details. (And not to mention, he made three more versions of the drawing with Crisp wearing different hat colors, like in PaRappa 2!!!)

Hehehehe I don't mind being pinged yet again, Suguri! It makes me so happy that my drawing (and the other variations) left you with lasting happiness.

December 23, 2024 to December 27, 2024

• I went out with my coworkers for dinner and headed to a restaurant! We ate a lot of sushi while I also had fried rice to go along with it! The restaurant had fries too, so I had to take some as well lol.
• From the 24th to the 27th, I was off from work for four days straight.
• I cooked spaghetti while my mother baked apple pie!
• On the 25th, the drawings from Secret Santa organized by @/Balverine were finally revealed! I'm saying this bit again, but it makes me so very happy that Suguri really liked the drawing I made for her. As for myself, I'm happy that @/-Mars- made a drawing for me as I immediately recognized their art style. Another pleasant surprise is that @/-Blue- made a drawing featuring other members in the style of Peanuts! They captured the style very well.

• I watched The Mummy with my mother and sister. It was two hours long, but still a good movie to watch.
• I went on a car stroll with my sister and had a good time since there weren't too many cars on the road.
• I bought a bunch of stuff from the grocery store. I'm glad to get most of the stuff out of the way since my family and I are going to cook lots of food on New Year's Eve.

• I got a notification here very early in the morning that @/Xara gifted me a red toy car collectible after the reveal of gift collectibles. Like no way, really?! It made me happy to see it show up in my inventory, especially after reading the message how she first thought of me when the gift collectibles got revealed. And while I'm at it, @/xSuperMario64x and @/Suguri did the same thing a couple of days prior! Wow. Thank you guys.
  
• This point is kinda lengthy, so feel free to skip it. It's my first day back at work from my four day break, but it's been very chill thankfully. However, one main highlight for me was that... I got to do an oil change on a 2015 Ford Mustang GT! Uh, what?!? I know the Mustang itself is already hype on its own, but to the surprise of no one who reads my posts in this thread, I'm more happy with the fact that this is the EXACT same car I can drive in Gran Turismo 7 aside from a few differences. The significant difference is that the one I worked on is automatic while the one from the game is manual. But yes, it's pretty great seeing it up and close changing its oil (even though one of my coworkers helped because he was just as hyped as me. And yes, I told him how I can virtually drive the Mustang in a video game lol.).
• Played Gran Turismo 7 and completed a race. I also drove the aforementioned Mustang. As for how accurate it sounds? Not quite entirely sure since I didn't rev its real counterpart high in the first place. I'll just say it sounds close enough at just over 1k RPM lol.

• I had pizza for dinner. The place where my mother got it from somehow gave her the wrong pizza, but they eventually gave her the right one that she ordered. I find it funny how a few days ago, some of us here on TBT got a pizza collectible hehehe.

• I've been trying for months to connect my Samsung earbuds to my Switch, and finally got them connected! Didn't realise I had to press the buds as I've only ever needed to open the case on any other device!
• I earned enough coins to unlock all of the songs in Fitness Boxing 3!
• Played some more of the Care Bears: To the Rescue.
• I've had the leads since March and never bothered to connect it up, but I plucked up the courage to connect my Nintendo Wii to my laptop! Hopefully, I will be able to start to play City Folk soon (Buck come to me!) and some other nostalgic games! Used to love Wii Fit/Wii Fit Resort. I have so many great memories of the Wii.
• One of Blossom's remote control car controllers had stopped working, the control pad keeps sticking. Got in touch with Amazon and they are giving me a full refund! I was quite surprised it was as easy as that as I bought it in April. I'm going to look for another one as she loves chasing it in the garden.
• Finally, I had ordered Blossom a Flirt Pole and some crinkly newspapers. She loves the crinkly newspapers, but the Flirt Pole took the biscuit for her! She was worn out after about 10 minutes of chasing it!

- Today's my 27th birthday and I received a lot of nice birthday messages. My family and I are going to celebrate it tomorrow though since the weather was a bit ugly.
- Played AC: New Horizons and K.K. Slider gave me the K.K. Birthday song.
- Went for a quick walk outside in the afternoon.
- I've been watching some NBA lately and I'm glad that the Warriors won against the Suns.
- Watched Kung Fu Panda 3 and loved it. I'll also watch the recent film in the series soon.
