What Are You Happy About Today?

-My days off landed on a weekend this time.

-My mom and oldest sibling tricked me into going to the salon to cut my hair. Haha. I thought that it was going to be a group appointment. At least I didn’t have to pay, so that was nice.

-I bought lunch and picked up my order from Walmart. Finally, I have a better gluestick!

-Organized my wall closet to a level of tidiness that it was before December happened.

-I also organized and decluttered items from two shelves in my dresser. Those garments will either be used as rags or go in the trash.

-Washed some towels and sheets. Hopefully I will wash my clothes tomorrow.

-Finally, I had a movie night.
 
another uneventful day for yours truly; didn’t sleep very well last night so off to bed early tonight 🥱 goodnight homies, hope you all have a great week ahead! 🫶🏻

*⁀➷ i finished the assignment i’ve been working on all weekend and handed it in!! 🥳 it’s my last regular english assignment before my culminating assignment in june, and it’s not even due until friday LOL, so i’m looking forward to not having to really worry about english this week!

*⁀➷ got to catch up with some of my wonderful forum friends 🥹 i’ve basically done a houdini disappearing act from all of my friends’ lives because of how busy i’ve been (graduation is…… so close….. 🫠), so it was so nice to get to talk to some of my homies again <33

*⁀➷ tidied up my room ^^

*⁀➷ did my daily self-care!
 
Started up my first game, which is my Pokémon Violet and decided any Pokémon game I play for now on I’ll be choosing the water type starters. I love water type Pokémon, as they are one of my five favorite types. 💙

My family and I are gonna go see the Transformers movie later next month, which will be our first movie we’ll get to see in a long time. My dad promised my mom and I that he will build our own home movie theater, but, uhh yeah, it’s not finished and hasn’t been for the last two years going on now, lol. The Transformers movies are one of my favorite action packed movies, so I’m a little excited. 😁
 
Today I'm happy because:

- I got to bed at a decent time last night and slept really well. I also got to sleep in this morning.
- I got some more reading done last night. I'm getting closer to the end of this book.
- I spent most of the day at home with my husband and my dog.
- My dog snuggled with me on the couch.
- I got to watch another episode of Made In Abyss. I'm going to be so sad when I finish it.
- I got some more laundry done and changed the water filter on the kitchen faucet.
- I did some self-care.

☾ I have an aesthetic ready for pride month!! 🌈 I'm really happy because I feel like I got the colors of the pfp/signature to match super well, even though the art is from wildly different sources (*´꒳`*)
☾ Watched another episode of Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood and the latest episode of One Piece with my family this morning! We also watched some short Youtube videos and Katherine Elizabeth's first episode on the New Life SMP later on!
☾ I played a lot of Stardew Valley again today! I got the Statue of Perfection from Grandpa and I am only one (1) fish away from completing the Community Center aaaaaa
☾ I saw some super lovely fanart of some of my comfort characters!!

  • The weather was nice for the whole weekend!
  • I cleaned the interior of my car! Eventually, my mother and sister did the rest and it feels brand new when I'm driving on the road. Oddly enough, it's improved my mental health slightly now that all of the clutter has been cleaned up.
  • I did some laundry.
  • I did some cleaning around the house.
  • I also did a bit more cleaning in the backyard. Sounds like I spent the entire weekend just cleaning around the house and car lol.
  • I watered the plants.
  • I ate baked salmon with baked potatoes for breakfast! It filled me up for quite some time. 😋
  • I went to a Michael's arts and crafts store to just look around. I was a little surprised to see that there was a small pride section with a bunch of colourful flags. It also made me happy when my sister asked what flags they were and identifying them for her. Anyways, while I was still there, my sister showed me a couple of things that surprised me and did my obligatory thing where I visited the art supplies section and did a small doodle lol.
It's pretty awesome how aside from the progress pride rainbow flags (and the regular rainbow flag), I got to see the nonbinary flag, a bi flag, a pan flag, and a transgender flag!

Well that didn't turn out too well. 🤣
  • Feel free to skip this point. No new cars to mention, but it always makes me happy to see the ones that I'm familiar with. More specifically the Mazda Miata (NA), the Nissan 370Z, and of course, the almighty Honda S2000 lol.
  • I played more Tears of the Kingdom! I feel like I'm going all over the place trying to complete the side quests while beating up some enemies lol.
 
It’s been a minute since I posted in here, huh?

➣ My favorite person binged Blue Lock in just two days. She really likes it and not because I’m a fan, lol. I’m glad she genuinely enjoys it. She for sure helped my inner monster. (If you know, you know.)
➣ I cleaned up my camera roll. I had way too many pictures and I’m happy to have cleared it out.
➣ I’m headed to Disney World in less than four months. I know it’s a bit far, but the excitement is here. I’ll definitely be taking pictures and bringing everyone here along with me.
➣ My dad bought me a Pizza Hut dinner box today. I enjoyed some delicious food.
 
It's been a while, hasn't it? Today I'm happy because
  • I made more progress on Pokemon Violet! Currently at the poison Team Star base.
  • Speaking of Pokemon and the fact that I can't finish a single project before starting a new one, I've made some incredibly fast progress at Legends Arceus. In about two days of having the game, I'm already at a second-star rank!
  • I'm off school for the summer and can actually focus on my many projects.
  • The Dallas Stars are playing tonight and I'm excited because we actually have a chance now!
  • My parents broke the news that we're going to Disneyland in October, officially! After this trip got pushed back for about three years due to various financial things, I can't be more excited about going.
  • I'm planning on talking to my favorite person after the game!
 
*⁀➷ i had a pretty chill day at school to start off the week! one of my classes was asynchronous today, and i slept through my morning class 🥱, so i only had one class to worry about! none of my teachers assigned anything new today, so i have the night to myself to just take it easy : D

*⁀➷ i have my psychiatry assessment with a psychiatrist and my counsellor tomorrow :’) i’ve been asking for this since i started counselling 5 months ago, so i’m equal parts relieved and scared haha

*⁀➷ had some delicious pizza for dinner! 🍕

*⁀➷ did my daily self-care 🫶🏻

The weather is still pleasant, which believe me, I’m so happy for. I might as well enjoy it, right? June is getting pretty close, so it will start heating up later I bet. 😩

I help my mom make an amazing new sloppy joe dinner tonight, along with an amazingly delicious fruit salad. My family and I have been getting into making dinner everyday of the week now, so no more eating out constantly. It’s helped my health so much. Go me! 💪🏻

Made some more progress on my Pokémon Violet game today. I finished borrowing my friend’s Pokémon Scarlet game to retrain my new main team. I even decorated some of them in nice Pokéballs, so they look cool when they come out of them. 😌

☾ @/Roxxy sent me a Yellow Rose with a really sweet message ;u;
☾ I made another rubber band bracelet today while watching a Youtube video I've been meaning to see! It feels like ages since I've done one of these, but I should have the next batch ready for my dad's next semester in any case!
☾ Also watched some Youtube videos with my family! We got to see SmallishBeans' first episode of New Life, and oh my god the modded red pandas are just way too cute for words
☾ I played Stardew Valley again! I am finally aging Ancient Fruit Wine, which is always something I've seen people talk about doing so I assume I have hit a milestone!! Also managed to catch an Octopus!!! It was a complete fluke (he just... decided to chill at the bottom of the fishing bar basically the entire time???) but that's fine by me tbh
 
Today I'm happy because:

- I had the day off work and got to sleep in this morning.
- I finished all of the laundry I wanted to get done with weekend and got it all folded and put away.
- I completed a few other chores and even though I didn't finish everything I would have liked to do, I'm happy with what I accomplished.
- I spent a good portion of the day relaxing with my husband and my dog.
- I watched another episode of Made In Abyss.
- I had fun playing some games.
- My dog is dreaming in his bed beside me right now. His nose is twitching. It's so cute!
- I have a four day work week and then I'm off for an entire week of vacation!
 
Today I'm happy because,

- I had the day off and got to play video games. 🎮

- I loved on my kitties and used the pool for the first time this summer, and had a lot of laughs. :giggle:

- The Texas Rangers baseball team absolutely demolished the Detroit Tigers in Detroit 5-0. At 34-19 they're off to a smoking start to the season. ⚾ 🔥

- Looking forward to working from home tomorrow and not having to go anywhere. 💚
 
- I worked out at home.
- Played AC: New Horizons and I received a new DIY recipe from a message bottle for a garden wagon. I always wanted a garden wagon to decorate my island with and I'm thrilled that I finally got one! WOO-HOO!
- My mom and I visited my aunt in the afternoon, and she cooked some yummy food.
- Started drawing with oil pastels for the first time and I love how rich and vibrant the colors are. They blend quite well together. I'm practicing with this medium so that I can prepare myself for digital art. Then I can begin taking requests for art at the Museum :)
- Spent time with the cats. Here's a pic of my sister's kitten Luka.
