I'm glad the new member of the family is settling in pretty well. She is already house broken(lets me know she needs outside though her message isn't always super forward). Unfortunately her bladder is still tiny so she has to go out very often. And she is so tiny she can fit behind so many things. It's been a rough couple of days getting her use to home, but she is doing so well. 4.5 pounds
➣ I finally had the chance to install the skin on my Disney MagicBand and it looks great. It's still fully functional but now with enby colors.
➣ My favorite person using my pronouns gives me so much euphoria you have no ****ing idea. She also sent me a funny anime mashup video which made my morning.
➣ I'm still happy that my mom is letting me pack a few bottles of my favorite soda in her checked luggage because I do carry-on only. ➣ Pyoopi finished the Galaxolotl crew backdrop!! Can't say how this came to be as to not spoil anything but I love it!
There was a user on another forum I'm on who was completely inactive since around the start of the month, which was a shame because I really liked that user. Guess what? They just came back!
☾ I converted the rest of my Bridge Tokens to Mission Tokens and was able to get the Pink Crescent Moon I wanted!! ☾ I was one of the winners of Oblivia's konpeito giveaway!! ;w; I'm very excited and might even try baking with some of the packs after they get here! ☾ Watched a little Youtube with my family!
I mentioned a few days ago that I found someone selling a copy of Mario Party 3 on ebay for a decent price, but I ended up missing out on it because I wasn't fast enough (even though I had a decent amount of time to make a decision skdjfksdf). well I remembered that when I went to the retro game store on July 4th, I saw that they had the game there, though I didn't get it because it was pretty pricey. but I tend to be impatient, and since I've been wanting this game for forever and I've been saving up a good amount of money, I gave in and bought their copy. I'm honestly surprised that it was still there and nobody bought it!
so yeah, now I can play Mario Party 3! I played a little bit on Creepy Cavern (of course hehe) and it works great! I can't wait to play this with my friend/brother, the boards in this game have lots of room for strategy so I'll be interested in seeing what kind of foolery will go down between us
I got a decent amount of Spanish studying done! I've been distracted my other things lately, so it was nice to take some time to continue my Spanish studies
☾ The Moon Bunnies have moved into The Observatory!! I've already started on the tasks there and it's been really fun so far! ☾ I watched a few short Youtube videos with my family! ☾ Read the first three chapters of volume 99 of the One Piece manga! ☾ And I got to level my team a bit more in Pokémon White! Also since it's winter in-game now, I've started backtracking for items that aren't available in other seasons.
Here's what happened yesterday on 7/31/23:
- I ate some yummy noodles.
- Went to the library and checked out some books. In addition, I admired the watercolor paintings I saw on display.
- Slept well today and felt quite refreshed.
- Watched some island tours on YouTube for inspiration.
And what happened today on 8/1/23:
- Went grocery shopping today.
- Read some books and the story is exciting so far.
- Spent time with the cats.
- Worked on a colored pencil drawing of my cousin.
- Worked out at home.
- I made a coffee and walnut cake last night and it turned out really delicious! My family all loved it too, apparently it's the best thing I've ever baked lol
- I've been enjoying watching the women's world cup. Supporting England ofc, but the South Africa vs Italy game this morning was a lot of fun too
i'm off work until tuesdaaaaaay yay! so gonna hopefully catch up on some space camp things! also my mum is back from her holiday so i get to see her for the first time in weeks
lauren james' goals the other day were really awesome oml (saw the highlights on youtube, but will deffo watch the match on monday!).
- played some mario kart, increased VR from 2.7k to a little over 3k!
- monched on some flapjack
- sorted out which bugs, fish and sea creatures i need to catch this month ;u;
- My mom spent several nights at home and it went well so the hospital approved her discharge from physio tomorrow. Taking care of someone who can't walk and barely talk was intense but luckily her care aid nurse starts tomorrow so my dad and I will have support.
- My sister went blueberry picking and then gave me a flat of blueberries. Truly too many blueberries so I had to freeze half of them. Now I am making little tartalettes. My partner was like, why don't we make a big blueberry pie? NO only small tarts allowed
☾ The konpeito I won in Oblivia's giveaway arrived here today!! ^^ It's so cute and colorful! I was willing to share but my parents aren't fans, so that's more for me ehehe ☾ I got to level my team some more in Pokémon White and gather a few more items I couldn't access earlier in the year! ☾ Got to spectate the Splatoon 3 stream today! It was very chaotic and I didn't really know very much about Splatoon, but it was still fun! ☾ I'm enjoying trying to collect Stardust for my team! The Wishing Well event last year was really neat so I'm happy to see this mechanic make a comeback! ☾ An entry of mine was accepted today and I was able to get the Purple Crescent Moon I wanted!! I'd still like to complete the set with an orange one, but since I've gotten all of my high-priority moons, I think I'll save most of my tokens from here on out and see what I can afford at the end of the event.
