What Are You Happy About Today?

I had a nice chill day today hanging out at home and enjoying the new area camp events! I got one of my submissions done and I was able to catch the Splatoon 3 Gaming Station stream which was a lot of fun.

from the last couple of weeks

• had some time off work - went on a lovely holiday to celebrate a family birthday (first holiday we'd all been on together in years) and spent time relaxing
• enjoying the return of camp bell tree - it's fun to get more involved in the forum again and get to know other members of the forum better
• went with my brother and his girlfriend to pick up their new kitten who is an adorable fluff ball
• booked a holiday for next year to St Lucia - a place I've wanted to visit for ages
• feeling a little more stable with my mental health - been struggling with major depression the last couple of months but been having more good days recently, not sure if it's new meds, time off work or the distraction of camp but I'm feeling happier either way

Today I'm really proud of my work ethic. I was really tired today and had the option to phone it in, but didn't and got a lot done. My magic is never giving up! Go beyond! Plus ULTRA!

pretty groovy as i'm over halfway through heartstopper season 2!! i thought there were 10 episodes but there's only 8

➣ I’m very happy to be with The Galaxolotls. @FrostyAlmonds and the Gaxo doodles are really brightening up the crew quarters.
➣ My favorite person was being a sweetheart. Her randomly pulling me in for hugs at the most random of times is the kind of love I never knew I needed.
➣ I was complimented once again on my work. I’m the highest paid in my position. Thankfully, seniority doesn’t exist here and you are paid based on work ethic.
➣ I’m excited about playing some Mario Kart tonight before bed. Hoping I can dominate these battles.

★ day's been kinda bleh but I have the evening to just chill so I'm happy about that ~

★ I played 3D Land some more yesterday and I got to see some of my favorite rock boys haha

★ I got to play Mario Party 3 with my friend for a while yesterday, we were in Spiny Desert and it was really fun! we didn't get to finish out game bc my N64 is having issues reading carts right now for some reason, but we got through quite a bit of it and it was a wild ride for sure

★ I started working on one of my entries for the Cargo Hold and I'm really happy with how it's going so far

★ kinda random but I love talkin with @/Shellzilla_515 abt car stuff hehehe

★ yesterday @/Croconaw very generously gifted me a space whale plush aaaah!!! I will treasure it forever!!

★ doctor adjusted my anxiety med a bit so I'm hoping it'll start helping soon, being anxious is exhausting. I'll be looking forward to having more good days

☾ I got to do a few more minutes of level-grinding in Pokémon White! I think I should have my team at the level I want them fairly soon now.
☾ My family and I watched a little Youtube this evening and caught up with Grian's latest Hermitcraft episode!
☾ I've been enjoying trying to gather stardust for my team in Space Camp! It gives me an extra excuse to chatter on here ahahaha
☾ Also snuck in a few minutes to play Jack Jeanne today hehe! I've been working my butt off trying to both keep up with IRL stuff and stay on top of all the camp activities, so I'm really glad I found the time to play a little more. ;v;

♡ Got to go to Cracker Barrel with my mans today! I got biscuits and gravy and it was underwhelming. Definitely nothing like Bob Evans.. :<

♡ Had the day off work which was nice because I got to sleep in. I also stayed the night at my sisters, @Azzy . I had a great time with them talking about OC's and other silly little things.

♡ Finally reached TB level 60 on Honkai: Star Rail! Time to get my sister roped into it >:3 She likes Blade, from what I've shown her so far.

♡ I'm really enjoying this event so far ;w; I love the teamwork aspects along with the solo work as well. I think it's a nice balance!

♡ Got to listen to music and play Pokemon White, like.. a lot.​

yesterday I was very happy because we went to a wildlife park which was a zoo actually and I saw some of my favourite animals and took pictures of them and I was allowed to buy 2 plushies at the gift shop so I think the zoo was the highlight of the holiday. We go back home tomorrow morning

Today I'm happy because,

- It's the weekend and the weather is nice here.

- I got plenty of sleep.

- The Texas Rangers swept the Chicago White Sox and play Miami tonight.

- I loved on my kitties.

- I received my manager feedback for the past couple months, and I've continued to do an amazing job!! I'm literally so proud of myself. Talk about slay....

In general, life is good right now.
Being on vacation really helps!
But also I have a lot of hope for this world that people will be good and that we will build a sustainable future. Sometimes I see things that get me discouraged, but then something else positive always comes along

☾ I've got half of my team up to level 70 in Pokémon White, and the other three aren't far from it! ^^ Looking forward to getting back to the postgame soon; these level 60+ wild encounters have been, well, kinda wild ahaha.
☾ The Moon Bunnies may not have won the first round of the Wishing Star, but we crushed all the other milestones!! I'm very proud of our efforts
☾ I got to spectate the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe stream today and it was a lot of fun! The crews' discord emotes were also made official during this time, and I'm very happy that my bongo bun won ;w; I loved seeing the super cute emotes the other teams decided on too!
☾ I watched a little Youtube with my family, and we caught up with fWhip's newest episode of New Life!
☾ Since I'm all caught up on Space Camp tasks for the time being, I had time to play through a few days in Stardew Valley too! It's been a little bit since I played so I was worried that I'd have forgotten what I was doing, but I didn't have any problems getting right back into life on the farm.

Hello friends, been awhile since I posted, so here's what's been making me happy lately

• My boyfriend and I have been together for 4 full months now (we had dated previously 10 years ago so we already knew eachother well), and it's going very well. Today we watched a movie and played the yugioh card game together I'm really enjoying spending time with him.
• I am officially starting violin lessons with a private instructor over zoom Super excited to get back into it (I played violin in Orchestra in elementary and middle school but not since then). I'm going to be taking a 30 minute lesson every week.
• I've been volunteering with a cat rescue that does adoptions at petsmart, since March. I go in every Tuesday morning and clean all the cats cages, give them fresh food, water, fresh litter, and let them out and play with them. It's so great and it makes me so happy. They're all so sweet and friendly. Last week there was a cat there named Dust Mop I've managed to be consistent with that and am very proud of myself for that
• I got nominated as tenant of the year in my apartment building!
• I got some new clothes at Walmart today
• My violin scales book was delivered today, it was recommended by my instructor so I bought it
• My new violin will be delivered tomorrow

Today I'm happy because,

- I didn't have to work and got to sleep in.

- The Texas Rangers came back from being down 5-0 to beat the Miami Marlins 9-8!

- I loved on my kitties and gave them kitty kisses.

- I had a good dinner.

- Planning on watching the newest Jujutsu Kaisen episode soon as well as playing more Genshin Impact and HSR. I also have 8 gym badges in my Pokemon SoulSilver Nuzlocke and am on the verge of a three-peat victory!

➣ My favorite person doesn’t have to walk to and from work this week. I was concerned for her safety walking three miles home at night. I lent her gas money last night. She reluctantly accepted it, but I’m glad she can transport herself safely now. She was also comforting about something that was bothering me.
➣ I’ve been working a lot this week due to vacations but I'm excited about the overtime this paycheck. I'm still making time for Space Camp, too.
➣ I didn't lose my hand today. The morning dishwasher from my second job had the brilliant idea of putting a dirty tomato slicer on top of the rack so they didn't have to clean it. It fell of the rack before I could get to it just centimeters from my hand. I would've cried. I'm not ready to lose a whole hand. People are dumb, but I'm okay.
➣ I'm tired from a long day of working and still shaken up by that incident, so I'm relaxing by battling on Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.

☾ I played so much Pokémon White today and made a ton of progress in the postgame!! Got my whole team up to at least level 70, rematched and defeated the Elite Four and thus actually got to properly battle Alder for the Champion title without getting interrupted by Team Plasma's shenanigans, caught Volcarona and Kyurem, and defeated Cynthia! Whew.
☾ Watched an episode of Fairy Tail and Hunter x Hunter with my parents this morning! We also got to see some Youtube videos later and catch up with SolidarityGaming's New Life series.
☾ I bought an Orange Crescent Moon from @/Mr_Keroppi and was able to complete my Crescent Moon set!! Those were my main priority from this Space Camp event so I'm really happy I was able to collect them all ;w;
