I’m going out of state to spend a night at a hotel. I haven’t been to a hotel in almost a whole year. I’m also feeling much better when it comes to GERD.

- I actually had a great day at work today despite a super early 7am start. I did a lot of cooking and it helps that Mondays are pretty quiet + I was working with people I get along with

- The weather was lovely when I left work, very sunny with blue skies and fluffy clouds, I enjoyed the bus ride home

- I got home, had some lunch, then had a nice hot bath. Spent the rest of the afternoon watching YouTube and chilling out

☾ It was a slow day at work last night like the projection said. I managed to start early since I dislike shifts with a later start time. It took a bit of manipulation convincing, but I started over an hour early. I'm very satisfied with all the cleaning I got done. I spent most of the night scraping the floor. Everything was so clean afterwards!
☾ I made a trip to Target this morning to pick up an energy drink. I wanted a soda, but the coolers up front were very limited. I'll be going back to Target after work to pick up a few more things including orange juice and some soda cans, which will likely end up being Baja Blast.
☾ I do have the day off tomorrow, so maybe I'll do more than just skim some of the tasks for the Lunar New Year event. I just have to find some motivation here.
☾ I ate before work three(?) days in a row. This is a win for me since I normally don't eat before work which leads me to either eating at work or after work.
☾ This looks like a great night to play some Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. I have an urge to battle that's hopefully still there once I finish work today.

I finally replied to an email almost one month later, but that's okay, my relatives take a lot of time to reply too, we are just not good with correspondance.

• I had a video call with the volunteer coordinator for another website I work with. He was interested in getting my perspective on some changes he wanted to implement and it definitely made me feel like a valued member of the team.
• My partner and I went to a 101 class this evening that our friend runs. I'll spare the details because it might make some people uneasy, but it was great fun learning a new skill (if a little overwhelming) and I'm looking forward to attending the 102 class in a couple of weeks.
• We came home, poured a glass of wine each, and caught up on the latest episode of 1000-lb Sisters. I'll probably give my mum a call tomorrow to talk about it - it's one of those few shows we both actively try to stay on top of (she got me into it, actually!).
• Yesterday I went out with my best friend, and she gave me some chocolate ginger cake her husband had baked. I tried it this evening and it was extremely good.

☾ Had more fun playing Rune Factory 5 today! I grew some Autumn Grass to finish a request, got everyone in town up to at least nine hearts (so close to completing the request to get everyone up to 10 aaaaaa), expanded one of my monster barns and tamed another monster, and I’m now officially in Summer of Year 2 on my file with Murakumo!

☾ I got to work on my entry for Draconic Designs a bit more, and have been trying to post when and where I can to save up tbt for more Red Envelopes!

☾ I watched some Youtube videos with my family as well! Got caught up with Markiplier’s Lethal Company series again (god I hope it continues) and also watched LDShadowLady’s newest video!

-I’m thankful that a neighbor was kind enough to ask about my well being last night. That small act of kindness made me feel less scared and alone.

-Although today’s training was long, it sure beat being in the office.

Today was honestly an off day for me, but at least the Dallas Mavericks won their 5th game in a row against the Washington Wizards 112-104. Knocking on the door to that 6th seed. That's what I'm talking about.

I bought some cayenne pepper because a youtube video says it can work as a cat repellant, and the neighbor cats all come around here to try for kittens, all the damn night. The cayenne works, and tastes great on a fried egg.

I hope everyone is having a great start to the week.

♥ I had a pretty anxious Mon/Tue. I needed to present in a meeting this morning, and I was a bit of a nervous mess yesterday and this morning. Thankfully, the meeting went well, and I got positive feedback!
♥ The thing that really got me through the last two days was my best friend! <3 They are always there to support me and encourage me, and I'm honestly just really lucky to have them! <3
♥ Also on work stuff, I'm really happy with the last two sets of data I generated.
♥ I'm happy that tomorrow is going to be a much less intense day!
♥ Even though I'm not really celebrating it tomorrow, I'm happy that tomorrow is Valentine's Day! I just love love.
♥ I'm enjoying slowly working through the TBT Lunar New Year activities.
♥ I'm really happy with the two new TBT reactions! I think they're great additions, and I can see myself using them a lot (and already have!).
♥ I made sure to check in with my mum today. Admittedly, it can be easy to forget when life gets busy, but she is honestly wonderful, funny, kind, generous and many more positive things, and I'm glad she's doing ok.

I know it’s only morning still, but I just want to say I’m looking forward to a possible sneak peek of a new mobile game I’ve been waiting for. It’s called Papa’s Paleteria To Go.

I’m also looking forward to tomorrow honestly. Despite being AroAce, I love Valentine’s Day. I love celebrating love, being a self-shipper (I develop crushes on fictional characters, just not real people), my OC ships, and I’m looking forward to celebrating it in all four animal crossing games that have it: AC:GC, AC:CF, AC:NL, and AC:NH!
(I also play wild world, but unfortunately Valentine’s Day isn’t in this version ; - ;

I don’t know if I’m going to get a chocolate heart in CF or NL, since it does take time to befriend a villager to that point, but we will see <333
I already traveled in my previous NL town to get a chocolate heart anyways, so if not, oh well, but maybe I will at least get a pink or purple rose.

Apparently, you can actually get Valentine’s Day cards in City Folk without a chocolate heart I found this out last year when I was watching the Valentine’s Day episode on The Mori Plays’ City Folk Let’s Play.

if I were to guess my Valentines and each game will be:

AC:GC - You get Valentine’s Day from everyone of your neighbors of the opposite gender regardless of friendship, so it will be all my males: Rex, Nate, Hector, Scoot, Apollo, and Octavian. I’ve only had my town since the 2nd, so I’ll probably just get all low-friendship letters. Oh well.

AC:CF - I’m not sure, a part of me is not trusting on this, because this town is relatively new, and again, it takes time to be friend a villager to this point. even though I want it to be someone else, someone tells me it’s gonna be Bob since he’s laid back as heck and a lazy villager seems like they would be the one to send me a chocolate heart. However, I could also just get a letter from someone.

AC:NL - A part of me thinks it’s gonna Apollo, another part of me thinks it’s gonna be Rooney. there’s also a tiny part of me who thinks it’s gonna be Spork, for similar reasons I mentioned Bob in my AC:CF prediction. However, I highly doubt my friendship with him is high enough to get a chocolate heart so I will probably just get a pink or purple rose from one of these three.
Also, like I said, I have reasons why I think it could be Apollo, but reasons why I think it could be Rooney. I’m hoping it’s one of them. <3333

AC:NH - I have gotten two true friends Nook Mile achievements, and it was with, again, Apollo and Rooney, so it should be both of them if I’m not mistaken (since I believe you can get multiple Valentine’s Day cards in this game).
Maybe I’m wrong in a good way, and it’ll be other villagers too. Who knows? ^.^

I noticed that Valentine’s Day slightly varies from game to game. I actually like that. ^-^

i finally told my mom part of what has been going on with me and my friend. It was extremely difficult and painful; but my mom listened to me and gave me some comfort that i needed. Right now she’s making me some soup since I’m sick and can’t eat anything solid. I’m really grateful to my mom.

Last few days:

I’m close to having enough materials for Raiden and Xianyun’s final ascension . I had maxed the level for Raiden’s weapon awhile back too!

I finished Fontaine’s archon quest and I loved every minute of it; I’m really sad that I’m done with it! I did Neuvillette and Wriothesley’s stories too and loved both; just wished they gave a commemorative photo or furniture piece for finishing it. I love Neuvillette and Wriothesley even more now ; I also like Navia a lot and Furina.

I enjoyed Genshin’s recent event’s story; it made me laugh so much. I really needed the laughs .

My art merch arrived awhile ago . My mom let me preorder the Kittybert mochi plush the artist designed too . I made a mistake with my first order tbh, even with the picture, for some reason i thought that was the plush i was waiting for and had filled out an interest check for (i forgot in the month since she announced the project what it was since I had a lot on my mind and mental health not good) . I did want this plush eventually so it still worked out
