What are you saving money for?

I’m mostly saving up for the sake of saving. xD But other things I’d like to do that I’m also saving up for is for a trip to Japan and/or South Korea with my family one day. I’m also saving up for an eventual place of my own.

I have a house and good car, but I want to have at least 1 month's mortgage payment on hand, just in case. 2 would be great. I'm almost there, so I can divert a bit of money to my "fun fund". I have a piggy bank I throw change, a few bucks, etc. into, and that's my money for playing.

I'm going to need some next month for my hair appointment, but I also found a Pullip doll that's on pre-order that I really like. I'm debating getting her.

I'm not saving for anything in particular as I don't know what I'm getting for Christmas but I have to admit I have been making major hints about Assassins Creed Valhalla and needing it 😂. I'll probably buy it after Christmas if I dont get it though

This is a totally frivolous purchase and I can afford it now but I want to do some research first and then set a budget. I really want a white rgb mechanical keyboard with custom keycaps even though I have a perfectly working rgb mechanical one right now. Based on the prices I've seen so far, I am looking at a minimum of $300.

On top of saving for a house, vacations, and a car.

I'm saving for a house and travel money for when covid restrictions lift and international borders open up. My partner and I have been long distance for about 2 years, so its given us some time to save up a bit! My dream is to purchase a semi-rural property with a few cows ^^

not anything in particular right now, mostly for just a rainy day. i have a rule for myself that i'm not allowed to use my money, count it, or anything until my piggy bank is completely full. keeps me from using it and the counting bit keeps me from looking at things i can afford. :3

I'm not really saving for anything big, and I don't plan to buy anything big either since I only earn so much from commissions haha. Maybe BoTW but I'm not in a rush to play it anyway since I want to spend my time immersing in Genshin Impact when I get the chance. If my parents won't buy me an Apple Pencil (for the iPad I'm getting for Christmas), I might just save for that.

Moving/new house/etc.

We plan to move closer to family once I graduate this spring. So, in the meantime, just saving for what those expenses will entail.

I'm trying to save enough money so I can purchase a mansion on a secret island and finally get away from the cesspool that has become this dying world.

Longterm, I'm saving for a place of my own. Short term, my laptop is crap and I'll be needing a new one soon.

Short term - Christmas shopping in a couple of days
Long term - A house <:

Im saving for a new MacBook pro. I used to be graphic designer but didnt like to be in office all week. Now I have a more outdoorsy job, but im looking to pick up graphic design again, only this time part time. MacBook is the best one for that, and the new pro supports lots of other usable features and can run games a lot better as well :)

My house needs a new roof and gutters. What an utterly exciting purchase to save for.
