What are you saving money for?

I’m saving up for a PlayStation 5. At this rate I’ll easily be able to afford one before they become readily available.

I really need a new phone...but I can't bring myself to buy one. Honestly, I just wish mine didn't have the problems that it does. It has this issue with constantly having "low memory", despite deleting all the apps, and having almost nothing saved on there. Obviously there is a problem with it...but I don't know what. So...it's still fine for calls and texts, emails, facebook, etc...but I literally can't use any other apps, constantly run out of space for photos, etc. But...yeah, not buying one just yet.

Saving money for an Xbox Series X, though. And a need a new turntable to play my records on, because my other one broke and I haven't been able to listen to the literal hundreds of albums that I own. Which...is a huge bummer. So, those two things are most important to me...and then eventually a new phone after that.

keratin extensions

i don't regret chopping off my hair because it needed to die but i miss having booty length hair

Money is saved up for the most part, but this year's big purchases will probably be an engagement ring, vacation to Cedar Point/Columbus Zoo (if possible with COVID), and then just apartment/car stuff.

I am saving to move back to Arizona. We lived there for 17 years and moved back to our home state and I hate it. I wish we never left, so the sooner we save enough money to go back the better!

I'm not sure really, but I suppose trying to have a healthy rainy day fund for uni! and also *hopefully* (lockdown permitting) going on holiday with friends in the summer, which is likely to just be an air bnb by the sea if possible

I'm constantly saving money and always trying to find ways to better my spending habits in the long run. However with our current situation in life any money I'm currently saving is going towards future holidays.

I'm saving for a new car!

Mine has about 150,000 miles on it (it's a hand-me-down from my dad who used to drive it on business trips), and the mechanical issues are really starting to show. I just got laid off from my seasonal job though, so it'll be a while until I can afford to make the monthly loan payments. :/

I was saving money for my dog's training but I think all he needs is to learn to walk on a leash so I want to try to find a different trainer that can specialize in that (he's fine w everything else, just not leash walking)

now I'm really just saving it for a "rainy day", in case some expenses come up that need to be taken care of. I want to save up to get an apartment/house but that won't truly start until I get a better paying job (after college), so for now I'm just generally saving money, being a responsible person :)

Probably just saving up for when I actually need something! I kinda sorta definitely want a switch tho but for a uni student I'm rather broke for it lmao so I guess that's one thing to save up for!

I’m saving up for a Chinese or even Japanese bamboo flute. Normally I could just travel to either of those countries, but due to COVID, buying online sounds more reasonable.

a piano/keyboard because I’d like to learn

generally, money to travel once im an adult. for the moment, a cute case for my switch !

I commented many months ago that I wanted a custom white rgb keyboard. I decided to put that on pause for now and bought a custom keycap and a gmk keycap set and I want to get a second gmk keycap set but the one I'm eyeing is very popular and is probably going to sell immediately.

No I didn't get the animal crossing keycap set even though I wanted to. The one I bought and the one I'm eyeing is more pleasing to me.

Right now I'm saving to study abroad, but there are so many expenses along the way that I'm already spending it all

Long-term, y'know to have money to be able to live I suppose. I mean our unemployment system is not the best and even if you have part-time jobs you still need to pay bills n food etc.

Short-term, a new poncho...my old one broke down I've found a few with a good price. I really wanted to get a more expensive real deal thing but I can't afford €350 things at the moment sooo nope.

Basically the title, if someone already made a thread like this, feel free to merge it.

For me, I'm saving money to buy an iPad + pen and Procreate. After all, I'm still living with my parents. After seeing one of my relatives have procreate, I want it, i have been wanting for some time too. I didn't know that I Really need it until then haha
im currently saving to buy new joycons since mine keep drifting... unfortunately they are very expensive in my country so i will have to save for a while

I'm saving up for another otome fanbook at the moment! I've been making good progress through my wishlist of these, but some are certainly pricier than others. ;u; I'd also like to get the Wintertide Miracles soundtrack afterwards—it's only a few dollars thankfully, but I'm just prioritizing at the moment. I also try to keep a certain amount of spending money saved up for any merch I want that's more time-sensitive when it releases.
