What Did You Accomplish On Your Island Today?

3/17
• Isabelle mentioned that Saharah was visiting today; as usual, I bought the esteemed camel out.
• Chatted with Buck (out for a stroll instead of a jog, shocking). Also decided to chat with anyone else I ran onto.
• Removed a few flowers that grew in from yesterday's rainfall. While on the topic of rain, I also dug up two gyroids that popped up: a Tremoloid and a Bubbloid!
• Helped Mathilda apologize to Plucky after a bad fight by acting as the delivery girl. Plucky got a green sprite costume (which made her look like Peter Pan, not gonna lie), and Mathilda got some peace of mind. Crisis averted!
• Visited the Roost and ordered a cup from Brewster. While I didn't get any milk, I did get to see Kapp'n stop by!
 
3/18
• Isabelle happily announced that Slider was back in town; seeing as I had decided to play earlier in the day, however, I did not attend the show.
• Recieved a genuine Wistful Painting in the mail from Rex. I don't need it for the museum, though, so I guess it's going into storage for now...
• My shovel broke while I was digging up fossils, so I ended up chopping some wood so I could make another one.
• Chatted with Buck (wandering around the hybrid gardens). Decided to also chat with everyone else I ran into.
• Helped Buck return an item to Rhonda, which the latter had forgotten at the former's house... but ultimately, I was the one who ended up with it: a Viking Top.
• Visited the Roost and ordered a cup from Brewster. Found Resetti at the counter!
• Finally gathered up enough golden roses to make the golden rose crown...but then discovered that I'd already made it a while back. I forgot completely. Still made it anyway.
 
Didn't really play much today...


3/19 (final entry for year 3!)
• Today's HHA S-rank puts us at 236,829 points, the same as last week, though they had some nice comments about my silver HHA plaque this time.
• Chatted with Buck (out for an evening stroll).
• Visited the Roost and ordered a cup from Brewster.
• Decided to call it early.


With that, year three on Shione Island has come to a close! 🎉
It feels funny, sometimes it feels like I only started a few weeks ago. I've certainly done a lot of work in that time, and yet there's still always something else that I can add to the island, or change around.
Let's see what ends up happening next. Year 4, time to score! 🎉😆🎉
 
Chores yesterday made me tired enough that I forgot to post last night 😅

3/20 (Year 4! What's in store? 🤣 )
• There was a visitor at the campsite today: Chow the Panda! It's certainly been a while since I first saw him in Wild World (he was one of the starting villagers I had, in fact). It was nice getting to say hi!
• Decided to chat with everyone I ran across today. Still, I never did run into Buck...
• Found Gullivarrr washed up on the beach. It took me a little longer to find the phone today; not because I couldn't find it, but I got distracted by a large and fast shadow, and ended up catching a spider crab (Forgot how big those things are, so to say it startled me coming out of the water is an understatement 😅)
• Found a gyroid fragment on the beach!
• Discovered that Rhonda was singing the song that's playing on the radio outside Buck's house...she's certainly been getting friendly with him lately 😆
• Visited the Roost and ordered a cup from Brewster. Got a visit from Blathers while I was there, and I also got to order with pigeon milk today!
• Made an anniversary post on the bulletin board!
• Decided to start setting up the back room in my house for spring (primarily Easter), but ended up getting a surprise visit from Francine. To my surprise, she gave me another copy of her photo! 💙
• Started ordering items to decorate, seeing as my storage was a bit lacking, and I now have more than enough storage to hold extra stuff.

3/21
• Isabelle mentioned that Saharah was visiting today; as usual, I bought the esteemed camel out.
• Recieved a red pirate outfit in the mail from Gullivarrr, and also took my purchases out and put then into storage.
• Chatted with Buck (out for a jog). Apparently, he and Gayle are butting heads... Hopefully that'll stop soon, I hate to think my villagers aren't getting along...
• Decided to hit a rock for materials. The rock I relocated during winter actually seems to be working right where it is, for now...
• Dug up the gyroid fragment from yesterday; retrieved a Wallopoid!
• Visited the Roost and ordered a cup from Brewster.
• Did more work on the back room; the new wallpaper and flooring I bought look SO much better. Still, it's a shame I can't make the room a bit bigger...
 
Paid off my loans for an alt character I made of my boyfriend. I'm excited to decorate it with him!
I made some furniture and transferred some items over from my character to his.
 
3/22
• Isabelle mentioned that Kicks was visiting today; as usual, I paid him a visit. Didn't buy much, but that's okay.
• Took my ordered items out of the mail and tucked them into storage.
• Chatted with Buck (apparently chilling at home). Also chatted with everyone else I ran into.
• Visited the Roost and ordered a cup from Brewster. Found Don at the counter!
• Put out a few cherry blossom decorations in preparation for April. Already, they look nice where I placed them.
• Made a few more item orders. I've got an idea for construction, but haven't quite decided what to make, so I'm gathering up items I wanted but had no room for prior to expanding my storage.
 
Not a lot today, but a few things:
  • After a bit of a break from both islands, I’ve been reacquainting myself with my villagers. I talked to all of the villagers I could find, and a got a recipe for cookies! 😊
  • Checked the mailboxes.
  • Took bells out from the ABD! Also ordered some items from Nook Shopping and the Nook Miles Catalogue.
  • Checked the recycle bin
  • Went to visit Harv’s island to talk to Kicks, Saharah and Cyrus.
  • Change my outfit.
  • Did some weeding!
 
Not today but for the past week I've been back in game after about 6 months and I'm playing every day. After each long break I'm always in awe how loveable and cozy AC is, there's always the nostalgic thought "oh how much I missed that". I hope this time I will finally finish my Island but knowing myself I wouldn't bet on it.

One of the first things I did was to start creating a cliff that I had in mind for a long time. Now it's finished with 3 inclines used but I think it turned out pretty great. And with that the basic structure of my Island is finished, hurray! What's left is to figure out how to decorate the new cliff and the rest of the different random places as well.

I also made Kyle's vacation home . What's a little insane is that I never completed the DLC (now I have about 25 houses finished) even though I bought it right after it was available. And so I hope that this time I'll be finally able to see the K.K. concert myself. Fingers crossed!
 
Finally completed the museum! Wanted to buy each piece from Redd himself because I’m just stubborn, and bought the great statue off of Redd’s boat yesterday. It was the real deal. Finally!
 
I’m slowly getting back into the game and terraforming. So far I’ve done an area for Maple and Marty’s house, and decorated the tier above that connects the campsite.

Still not sure which floral colors I should use.

• Isabelle mentioned that Label was visiting today; passed her "Everyday" challenge with flying colors, and was given a pair of Labelle Socks in thanks.
• Decided to chat with everybody I ran into today. Also checked in with Buck (who was busy making a pear hat). Apparently, another resident has pointed out Buck's obsession with fitness: Francine. This time, however, Buck seemed to agree; she'd asked him about his favorite ice cream, and he launched into a full-blown monologue about muscles. Looks like Gayle was on to something after all.
• Visited the Roost and ordered a cup from Brewster. Found Resetti at the counter!
• Visited Harv's island to customize some items with Reese and Cyrus. Promptly ordered a few more items afterwards.
• Checked how much longer I had until the stringfish goes out of season...and seeing as I only have until the 31st, I'd better get on that 😖 Ran around to dig up clams and make some fish bait.

3/24
• Isabelle mentioned that C.J. was visiting today; I still didn't have any collectible specimens for him, so all I did was say hi.
• Recieved two tailor's tickets in the mail from Label. Also took out my recent purchases.
• Chatted with Buck (out for a walk on the beach). He warned me that Kitty was sick, so I made sure to get her some medicine.
• Ended up going with Gayle to her house for a bit. Won a Hawaiian-print Apron off of her in a card game, and was given a denim jacket when it was time to leave.
• Went to see Kitty, and upon treating her with the medicine, she gave me another copy of her photo! 💚
• Visited the Roost and ordered a cup from Brewster.
• Visited Harv's island and customized some more items with Reese and Cyrus. Also checked in with Kicks and Saharah.
• Ordered some more items...

3/25 (raining, late day)
• Isabelle happily announced that Slider was back in town; later, I attended the show, and he played K.K. Stroll.
• Chatted with Buck (wandering around the pumpkin patch).
• Visited the Roost and ordered a cup from Brewster. Got to order with pigeon milk today!
• Found a gyroid fragment on the beach!
• Retrieved my purchases from the mailbox, and visited Harv's island to customize even more items with Reese and Cyrus. Sold off anything that was cheap afterwards.

3/26 (another late day)
• Today's HHA S-rank puts us at 243,345 points, a considerable increase from last time! 🎊 (Looks like setting up for spring was a good idea!)
• Chatted with Buck (sweeping his walkway).
• Dug up the gyroid fragment from yesterday; retrieved an Arfoid! Also found a Bendoid and a Babbloid that popped up from yesterday's rainfall.
• Visited the Roost and ordered a cup from Brewster. Had Kitty for company, and I got to order with pigeon milk again! 👍
• Made a few more purchases...
 
More terraforming and path layouts.
I say it every time, but I absolutely despise how long it takes to terraform. I flattened out the island first to rebuild it how I wanted it. It takes so long to do, and quickly burns me out. But I am wanting to finally complete this island.
I also got pink hybrids from a sweet user on here, so I’ve been using those to decorate!
 
For a late day, I had more to write about than usual!



3/27
• There was a visitor at the campsite today: Bree the Mouse. If I didn't already have three snooty villagers on the island, I would've considered letting her move in.
• Speaking of moving, I then found out Mathilda was thinking of moving away. I was thankfully able to change her mind; I don't want her to go.
• Took my recent purchases out of the mail and put them into storage.
• Found Gulliver sacked out on the beach again. Didn't take too long to find the missing components, at least.
• Chatted with Buck (at home, actually relaxing for a change).
• Ended up going with Rex to his house for a bit (which was accidental; I button-mashed while distracted). He had a heck of a surprise for me when it was time to leave: he gave me another copy of his photo! 💙
• Visited the Roost and ordered a cup from Brewster. No milk today... 💔
• Found an announcement on the bulletin board; Buck's birthday is coming up on the 4th!
• Dug up a few more clams; I now have 80 bags of fish bait ready to go 👍 (though I'll still probably need more than that...)

• Recieved a purple turban in the mail from Gulliver.
• Immediately went to Nook's Cranny to sell off all of the fossils I'd accumulated over the past few days...
• Chatted with Buck (exploring the campground).
• Visited the Roost and ordered a cup from Brewster. Kapp'n stopped by for a cup, too!
• Made a few more online purchases.
• Made 30 more bait bags, and then proceeded to try fishing for some Stringfish... It was all for naught, as all I managed to catch was 6 black bass 😤 infuriating...
• Made 30 more bait bags to replace the ones I used up. I'll be trying again tomorrow.
 
This morning was just a basic chilled day:
  • checked my mail
  • cleaned out my mail box ( cause there was alot haha woops)
  • pulled the weeds out from around my front garden and home
  • watered all the plants and flowers around my home
  • walked around and pulled the weeds around my home
  • watered all the flowers and gardens around the island
  • harvest and planted more crops
  • sold crops
  • visited Nooks Cranny
  • went clothes shopping
  • checked on my islanders and had chats with the islanders that were awake that early hahaha
 
Main Island-Found the Pansy Wreath DIY recipes in a bottle. Player 3 DIY collection is complete.
Crafted more Stacked Senmaizuke Barrels for garden areas and planted a fruit tree behind a medium cedar tree.
Stacked Senmaizuke are my new favorite item for both islands.
