Homemade pizza dough is the best! Use a thermometer and make sure the water is 110 degrees Fahrenheit. I’d even let the dough rest multiple days. Cold fermentation really helps develop the flavor. Give this recipe a try next time.I made some pizza dough today! I’ve never made pizza dough before and I’m always a little nervous when I make something with yeast. I’m always worried I’ll use water that’s too warm and kill it but thankfully that didn’t happen this time! It seemed to come together well and I think I kneaded it okay.
The recipe said it’s okay to let the dough sit in the fridge overnight so that’s what I’m going to do. I’m excited to make some cheesy pizza tomorrow

Best Easy Pizza Dough
This easy pizza dough recipe sets the foundation for beautiful, flavorful pizzas. It works great in home ovens as well as outdoor pizza ovens. No mixer is needed and you don’t need to proof your yeast.www.101cookbooks.com
This recipe makes enough dough for six pizzas so I let them rest a few days then I freeze them. I thaw them overnight. I didn’t add the optional oil but I’m sure it’s great with it included.Oh, thank you so much! Honestly using a thermometer is the best idea because I stood there with the tap on for a while switching between temperatures because I was getting nervous that it was either too hot or too cold And that's good to know about letting it rest in the fridge! We'll probably still have some pizza tomorrow because I'm impatient, lol but for next time I'll definitely try that recipe and let it sit for a few days! Do you have a good recipe for pizza sauce? o: I bought some pre-made sauce at the store because I was worried making sauce from scratch would be too difficult, lol.

I never use yeast without a thermometer. Or just use rapid rise yeast if you don’t want to activate it.
I prefer store bought pizza sauce because a lot recipes are just too herby and flavorful for me. It’s really easy to make sauce though.
This is a good thermometer.Oh that's perfect then! The recipe I use only made enough dough for two pizza's but that means I can use half tomorrow and let the other half sit for a few days before freezing it. I don't use yeast very much (really if ever... I want to make cinnamon buns more often but the yeast has always put me off) but in the future I'll definitely use a thermometer instead of just guessing!
Ahh okay That's fair and honestly my dad will probably be the same way so maybe store bought is the better route to go for us!
This is a good thermometer.
My house is always super cold so I preheat the oven to 200 degrees and shut it off and place the dough in there to rise. I usually let it rise for much longer than it says to.
This is my favorite cinnamon roll recipe.
The Recipe That Started It All: Cinnamon Snails
By Adam Sobel These are our classic breakfast buns and the buns for which our truck is named. Cinnamon buns have a spiral, snail-shell shape to them, which is why some people call them cinnamon snails. People ask us so frequently about the truck’s name.www.naturalvitality.com
I had to get a new heating element for the bottom. It came today! I’m going to try cooking something in an hour.Oh my goodness thank you so much! You're being so sweet and helpful, I really appreciate it. At the moment our house (more specifically our kitchen lol) is really cold so that's a good trick about letting it rise in the warmed oven! Now I want cinnamon rolls lol but I have to eat the muffins I made first! Also I saw in a previous post that your oven broke - I hope it's working now!

I'm going to need an update on how the pizza was!I made some pizza dough today! I’ve never made pizza dough before and I’m always a little nervous when I make something with yeast. I looooove making fresh pizza dough. It's always so fluffy and delicious!
Yay! Glad it worked out!It was alright! It took me ages to get the dough rolled out into the right shape because I was determined to get it in a perfect circle I think next time I'll need to add more pizza sauce because I was a little hesitant and was worried about adding too much. Overall though for my first time making pizza dough I'm pretty pleased! I can't wait to make it again but pizza twice in one week is probably not a good idea so I'll have to wait a little bit, lol.
