What is your biggest worry?

I don't think I'm worried about much anymore. I'm fairly positive that they are bringing Brewster back and I'm sure they haven't shown us everything. Everything just looks so good in the game that I'm ready to play it.

My biggest worry is not being able to adopt villagers like we were able to in New Leaf. ;-;

Sure, there is Amiibo fanctionality, but not everyone has all of their dreamies cards and/or has the card of the villager that they want more than anyone.

My only worry is being able to pick up the physical copy next Friday. Hopefully nothing closes down before then! As for the game, I have no worries. Got everything I want in this game!

I'm kinda worried that swimming won't be back. I haven't seen it in any game footage and I noticed that the encyclopedia only showed fish and bugs. Now it might be that the deep sea creatures part of the encyclopedia is unlocked after you catch your first one, so that's why it wasn't shown, or it could be that they are just lumped together with the fishes. Also, I didn't notice a deep sea creatures section in the museum either, but I haven't seen all of the PAX footage so maybe it was shown there? Anyway, if swimming won't be back, I won't be too disappointed, but it would be nice to have it back. And if they do bring it back, I hope we can swim in the rivers and ponds too! But in the end, the game looks fantastic to me and I'm sure I'll love it with of without swimming!

Yeah, I am kinda worried about not being able to get my card on the 20th. :/
The virus has yet to reach my town as far as a know, but I can tell that the media is being as cautious as possible about the ordeal.

Nothing.

I've avoided the hype/news/speculation/directs/etc so I'm going into this completely blind. Can't be disappointed when you have zero expectations.

This is my fear - not being able to swim especially when we are living on an island. I have always wanted to swim in the river too.

Not really worried about the game itself, pretty happy with what I’ve seen so far. Sadly one of my biggest worries came true. I was worried that because of the Coronavirus, something would happen and I wouldn’t be able to get the game on time. Just yesterday, we were placed on a lockdown until April and malls would also be closed by then so I wouldn’t be able to pick up my pre-order by then. I plan to contact the store tomorrow if they have delivery options, if not, I would be going digital.

I probably don't have any as I love all the AC games, and they always get better with each release. There are small quirks I don't really like in some of the games, but these don't worry me.

I was worried about the new mail system making it so we had fewer inventory slots than New Leaf, but I did see a screenshot of a player with 40-slots. So that's all good.

I don't know we we'll be able to get unbreakable tools, or his easy they will be to obtain, so I am hoping it won't be too hard to get an unbreakable fishing rod. Lord knows I'll be doing a lot of fishing.

i have a couple worries. one worry is that pocket camp items won’t make it into the game - i know there’ll be crossover items at one point but i’m referring to actual items that were available in pocket camp lol. another worry is the lack of a dream suite - i know the pastebin leak mentioned the dream suite but since nobody knows if it was actually real or just a member of 4chan making fun of us, i’m still not certain which sucks lol.

my final worry isn’t about the actual game but i’m worried that it won’t arrive on march 20th and i’ll have to wait longer :c

I'm worried about the amiibos villagers such as wolf link, Splatoon squid and epona. When I played new leaf back in 2012 I played that game in stop for 3 years. Then I pretty much got bored of it since I reached all my goals and all the villagers I ever wanted was in my town. There wasn't much you could do at the time. I took a 3 year break since I there really wasn't anything to do, but Nintendo announced the new Amiibo feature and how you could get wolf link. At the time I was obsessed with anything legend of Zelda lol. So at this point I'm only hoping that they eventually add those villagers back as an update or something because those are the villagers that got me back into to playing animal crossing for a while.

My only other concern is with time. Its similar to Krissi2197 and how it won't feel the same. I remember when ACNF came out I spent so many hours on it since I was still a teen at the time. Now that Im older and almost an adult I don't know if New Horizons will still give me that satisfaction that I once had while I was younger. Most of the games I usually buy today are not really long term, I always think I'll spend so many hours on them, but none of them come close to Animal Crossing. So I do hope that ACNH will spark that flame in me. At this point I've hyped myself too much so I'm sure I'll be playing for a long while lol XD

Since I'm in the UK, that means I have to wait for the new Switch to come on the morning of the 20th and then wait to transfer all their game data onto the new Switch, then wait 80000 years for the game itself to download with my stone age wifi speed,

If you use the dock, you can use Ethernet (you need an adapter), which should always be faster than wifi.

I'm only worried that the villagers will be super boring and repetitive again....I hope for the best though.... so far I love all the detail in the game so I hope they had that energy when it came to villager personalities. Personally my favorite part of the game has always been the community aspect

I'm worried by the fact that I'm incredibly bad at decorating, building and terraforming in every single game that allows these 3 things. I'll probably just be overwhelmed by all the stuff you can do and just leave the game and never come back.
Like, I'm genuinely worried

i don’t have any worries. im going in super chill and ill appreciate the game for whatever it is

I know we will have furniture, but I don't see a whole lot of attention on the various established series and themes. For example, I loved the Rococo series. Is that coming back?

I know that the pattern making is like New Leaf's but with a transparency option, but is the palette selector, where I can pick my colors, going to have the same layout as New Leaf's? I want to go in and say to myself there is the same greens as in the previous game.

I know that it looks like we will have the same number of rooms as New Leaf, but I hope that they are at least the same sizes.
