What kind of crafty hobbies do you have?!

I picked up crochet about a year ago! It’s really relaxing and keeps my fidgety hands busy when I watch TV. So far I’ve made a few blankets and a cardigan!

I like drawing and doing digital artwork. I like creating fakemon as well and have a project I'm working on trying to create an entire region.

I've also been trying to get more into realistic painting as well, painting textures and also I've been trying to draw more realistic anatomy and gesture drawing lately as well.

Also I haven't done much of it yet but I've been trying some watercolour painting as well.

I'm absolutely terrible at string-related crafts, I always end up with knots somehow. I do like playing with photoshop/illustrator, and I'm learning to code websites if that counts. I also like watercolor a lot.

I've been trying to knit but I still don't know how to cross stitch ):

A friend of mine started with a stamped cross stitch, because it was easier to follow. Then you can move to counted versions. I think Dimensions has little kits that are on the cutesy side, but they go quickly and are easy to follow. Check Michael's, JoAnn's, etc.

Thank you so much for your advice! I really appreciate it TuT.

I mostly due Pokemon sprite edits, including fusions and misc. changes. It's actually a pretty desired niche for Pokemon fangames, though I only made sprites for Pokemon Infinite Fusion so far and the most involved I've gotten in other projects is when someone asked me to use one of my fusion sprites in their game. A lot of my projects are for self-enjoyment.

I crochet and the last thing I made is relevant

I'm very good at stretching my shirts

Jokes aside, I am pretty good with photoshop.

I draw both traditionally (Usually ink) and digitally and make merch like charms and stickers. I used to do video editing and might experiment a little in that field again! and since I now have a ton of time on my hands, I’ve been really curious about stamp carving and bought a kit. :D Excited to try it out!

I'm a doll customizer ^^
I collect broken dolls (mainly Monster High) and repurpose them into works of art and characters from anime/original characters. It's a lot of fun, and incorporates everything I love without restricting me to one medium: Drawing, Painting, Building, Sculpting, Sewing, Knitting, etc.

I'm also a traditional and digital artist. Traditional art I've been doing for about 20 years now and Digital Art I've picked up recently in the last 2ish.

i taught myself how to sew and cross-stitch because i like figuring thing out on my own and doing stuff with my hands. i also like to paint and draw.

here’s an unfinished cross-stitch i’m doing of pippy for my friend:

i like to turn them into zipper clips/keychains.

First of all, stretching your shirt is important, so you get that perfect, comfy fit. ;)

Second, did you make your banner? Because it is gorgeous!

I've been learning how to sew dice bags and hoping to open up a small online shop some day. I draw my own designs and get them printed on fabric as well. Planning to learn how to make other types of bags eventually

i've had a lot of hobbies over the years but i keep getting busy so i can't stick to them for long huhu

i used to be really into making bracelets and earrings before and then after that i was really into painting with watercolors? and throughout my childhood up until high school i was really into writing but i guess i kind of lost that spark at some point :'( i also do some photography! i've sold some of my photos as prints at an art fair in my school and it was fun!

took a pottery class in uni and i really enjoyed it! it was just slab pottery though but i want to someday try to make a mug for my best friend!

was planning on getting into embroidery this year but my dad couldn't find any beginners sets at the mall so i ended up getting cross stitching supplies :))) it's been super fun though and i'm looking forward to doing bigger projects someday!

oh! and i'm not sure if this counts but i used to make a lot of designs for clothes in acnl? my eyes have been hurting a bit recently though so i'm trying to reduce my time looking at screens huhu

recently got into pottery but since the covid thing haven't had the chance to go to the studio again

here are the last pieces i made which i never got to see after the final firing :(

i also know how to knit and cross-stitch, but i was into that in my middle school days so i haven't done that since along with origami and other paper crafts

around high school i got into making plushies but they weren't all that impressive, i wish i didnt stop though it was a fun hobby, i would love to get into making clothes too but im not that advanced with my sewing machine

i also wanted to get into making resin pieces but the materials are so expensive where i live, but yeah i do want to get into a home-friendly craft tho still didnt figure it out

I make cute lolita/kawaii inspired resin pieces as well as collect stickers!
Ive also dabbled in book making, making minature rooms, and sewing!
I want to know what stuff do you do!

I’ve always loved how people worked with resin, that’s so cool. i love anything arty tbh, ive been playing the piano for 5 years now but sadly quit lessons so now im teaching myself... im honestly trash for playing for 5 years but let’s just blame my teacher shall we ? 😂 im jk. anyways i enjoy making lil fairy gardens also☁️ It’s magical

cross stitching! i'm horrendously bad and have only ever made one thing, very recently, that my coworker wanted (it reads "homo sweet homo" and i died while doing this), but i'm doing my best and i hope to make less meme-y pieces in the future.

(for context: my coworker is a big ol' lesbian and she wanted to ... subtly ... hint at it in her new apartment.)
