I really hate when doctors give you the same lecture about losing weight even though your blood results are great and then have some nerve reminding you about your weight. I spoke to my primary care doctor about this and she told me it was port of their "health protocols" and even she was just fed up of weight shaming people.
That’s why I stopped going to my doctor. I may be considered overweight for my height but a lot of it is muscle and I’m far stronger and more flexible than I look. I mean I can literally put my foot into my mouth which isn’t something everyone can do, I can touch my toes very easily and basically fold myself in half, if I pull my feet together bottoms touching, I can fold down and have my face touch the floor, and I can carry up to fifteen oven trays at once without any struggle other than maybe getting them on the shelf if the stack is higher than I had thought. My cholesterol is a few points higher than normal but that runs in my family, blood pressure is relatively normal, blood sugar level is always good with only one test saying otherwise but that’s because I ate an Oreo before starting to fast so that was more of a false positive as the next time I did the test, it said that I was normal. I may eat big portions but I also have a pretty healthy diet as I get fruits and vegetables into my meals in some way and I don’t eat junk foods all day long. If I don’t eat for a long time or not enough during the day, I will start to get light headed and start losing balance and start to shake. I very rarely add salt to foods that are already cooked and prepared and don’t eat too many deep fried foods and would rather use an air fryer instead. I’m heavy but I’m not really fat as any part of me will slip out of your fingers and there is no fat to grab. I quit using Wii Fit because it kept making feel bad about myself for my weight and like it was fat shaming me in an extremely patronizing way.

I really don't understand why some doctors don't seem to understand that muscles actually weigh a lot more than body fat. Even when you're working out at the gym you gain muscle and your weight still goes up but of course some doctors just like to rely on the numbers on that scale and say "Oh you're overweight" and they fail to even realize that you're gaining muscle and being healthy.

I lift a lot of heavy things at my two part time jobs. Sometimes I even have to push a car into my dad’s shop. My body isn’t flabby at all and I can go into a sideways split from a standing position with ease. I can even lift and hold tires off of cars and put them back on without any trouble. Toyota Tundras have huge wheels and I can easily remove them and then put them back on. So I’d definitely say I have a lot of muscles. I’m just not built like a bodybuilder or have a six pack.

I don’t like Pocket Camp at all. I felt super annoyed the entire time while I was trying it out because I couldn’t get all of the stuff needed to fulfill all of the Campers’ res quests and Isabelle kept nagging me that I needed to keep Campers happy. Not all of us have credit cards to buy energy and supplies Ninentdo!

Couldn't decide whether this fits here or in the Pet Peeves thread, but the recent uptick in people saying "_____ got dogwalked" is really starting to annoy me. Dogwalked? What? You mean they put their enemies on a leash and walked them like some dogs? Why not just say LITERALLY anything else, like, I don't know, they got obliterated, or they got defeated, etc. But no, you have to say "dogwalked." sigh...

hot take but I really think Mozart is an overrated composer. I always kinda felt this way but after going through college for music I now believe it even more.

in terms of classical composers I think Beethoven is much better 😌

(and I know they're from different periods of the classical era but still, Mozart is overrated)

I hate Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony. I can’t even stand listening more than three seconds of it, that’s how much I hate that thing. It is the worst thing he has ever composed.

i can not stand little debbie or any other of those snack cake brands. i had a little debbie honey bun today and a whole pack apparently is $5.00, it didn’t even taste like it was worth 90 cents.

I hate dogs. I've always had a phobia of them and whenever someone finds out they act like it's the worst trait someone could possibly have. It's not that hard to deal with but I just have to avoid parks like the plague and cross the road whenever I see a dog that is off a leash.

^ the park part drives me crazy, another thing wrecking the one park I have near me.

Anyway, I came here to say that- at least on PC, where things were tweaked- nothing is really that awful about Meat Circus in Psychonauts. It’s underwhelming as a final level (not conceptually, but in execution, is clearly rushed) but tbh it isn’t really hard, it just has some weird jank. It doesn’t totally ruin the level or make it frustratingly hard, a few things just out like poorly designed aged mechanics or weird camera moments. None of it came close to frustrating me.
Rush the escort mission and go back down to get the figments, easy, honestly it’s feasible even getting them on the way up and I did get almost all of them on my first go.

I mean, screw the rail grinding but unfortunately it just isn’t good in any part of the game haha.

i hate breath of the wild and don't think it feels like a zelda game whatsoever, let alone tHe BeSt oNe EvEr. all of the hype was/is around the open world, but the world itself is dead as hell. it's missing all of the charm and heart of a zelda game and doesn't even have the classic banger soundtrack, if it even has a soundtrack bc i can't remember a single song from the game at all tbh. my brother and i have discussed this endlessly since the game came out and we will die on this hill lmao

i am the absolute mad woman who enjoys water over milk in hot chocolate. im talking about the swiss miss powdered hot chocolate, it tastes better with water in my opinion and i prefer it over milk. i also do this because i am very lazy, my coffee maker can heat up water fast vs having to pour milk and needing to heat it up separately.
