Mostly because Whitney's design was more based off of an Arctic wolf, and Fang's design gives off more "grey wolf" vibes if that makes any sense.

I live in a really hot area so I don't ever get snow, the seasons are Summer, Summer, Summer, Fall (because it's not cold enough to qualify as winter)
