I like how you want to start a conversation about this subject with the community, but why post about it when you got banned for it before on tbt discord? Or did I just answer my own question? : P

I've heard rumors of Taco Bell meat having dog meat in their meat products, but I'm not sure if that's true or not. Idk if those dishes made you hungry because there may have been other things added to them besides dog, but maybe dog is gross by it's self and those things are what make the dish delicious. Just a food for though.... Not sorry for the pun!

Would I eat dog? If I had to survive and dog was the only option, yes, sorry dog. But tbh, I'm not a fan of meat so... In any other case, no I wouldn't.

I'm curious about something. Was the dish you say looked really good actually labelled as dog meat? If it wasn't then you don't know what animal the meat in it came from. Whoever started the petition could have used a free stock image of any type of meat dish.

Honestly have no idea but it was in China in their festival and it looked good, more than likely not a stock photo.

Sure, why not? I don't imagine I would like it, but I would try it. I eat a bunch of other animals, so cultural differences aside I don't see a difference...Though it would have to be a random dog I've no attachment to, I wouldn't exactly go downstairs and cook my dog.


I always find it weird that people have such strong reactions against eating one type of animal but not another. Feels really contradictory.

that reminds me, in middleschool I had to read this screwed up survival story where this guy was stranded adrift on a chunk of ice or sth and he had to eat some of his sled dogs and use their pelts as clothing to survive.
It was disgusting and why someone thought that was appropriate for middleschoolers to read was beyond me.

I remember as a kid there was a rumor that our local Chinese buffet used cat meat instead of chicken in some of it's dishes. My parents didn't believe it so we went there anyway but I've always wondered....

There used to be a Chinese restaurant where I live, but they were shut down because they had dead cats in their freezer. Thankfully, I never went there.

Im sorry id never ever EVER DO IT. not even if it was life or death. i love dogs too much to even consider it and tbh i despise anyone who would openly do that. Im sorry thats just my tea but dogs are really important to me and i hate hate hate the idea of using them for food, cultural differences or not i think it all just needs to stop. it shouldn't be allowed anywhere
