Rabbits are pets. Are you against people eating rabbits too? People also keep chickens as pets. Animals serve many purposes. I'm not calling you any names uwu
Wow, your username is stackhouse and you don?t eat meat. Go figure.
Would you snack on your pets or your kids?
Or has that train already sailed?

Well in regard to pet: no, I wouldn't eat my pet. Saying that, if I had a pet piggy I wouldn't eat that either, but I would still eat pork. I never met the pork, but my piggy, I'm already attached to Gammon and he's entirely metaphorical.
Kids though? I'm not sure what you're trying to say with that. Is it that it's okay to eat children, but it's a little weird if they're my own? I thought cannibalism was weird anyway, a majority of carnivorous animals seem to agree on that too, but if you say it's fine as long as they're not my own kids then I guess I'll give it a go.
I think it's weird that some people get really fired up about eating dogs/cats, but they eat other animals. I mean animals are animals, meat is meat. People can eat what they want, or live their life how ever they want, it doesn't bother me. I'm moving to a more vegan lifestyle, but my friends and husband eat meat. It doesn't bother me. I've had pet chickens, cows, goats, and pigs. They all have unique personalities and are intelligent, so I think of all animals like most people think of dogs. However, I'm not opposed to trying different meats if I'm visiting another country, but I usually don't eat meat in my everyday life.
You do realize if you eat meats at all you’re not a vegan, right? There are plenty of substitutes for protein that exist.
EDIT: Reminds me of that one sketch from Robot Chicken where it’s literally just a statement to others to not eat meat. Give me a break. Either eat meat or do not, but it definitely does not put you above or below other people. Nothing does.
