At first I thought it was so pretty but now I’m over it. I just got done landscaping some areas but it’s hard to tell if they look good because of the bland white snow. I’m excited for green grass again so I can see what these newly landscaped areas look like.

Are you tired of the snow? Do you think it’s harder to landscape during this season?

Nope, I love snow and winter. It’s my favorite season in real life, but it doesn’t snow where I live so I’m extra excited to see it in games and I’ll never get sick of it. I don’t do much landscaping or terraforming so I guess that’s part of why it doesn’t bother me.

honestly i've already time travelled forward to spring lol

i decided to redecorate just as winter started and it all looked so weird for ages because the paths i got were all grasslike, i've never liked winter in ac games though tbh, i prefer the summer seasons

I’m actually really enjoying winter, but that’s possible because I’m playing a lot less so the appeal of it isn’t wearing off as quickly as previous seasons did. I like being able to make snowmen and catch snowflakes and I like seeing the villagers wrapped up in the coats and hats 💕💕💕
That said, I’m already really hyped for Spring because I only got acnh in the summer and I can’t wait to see cherry blossoms in Gont 🌸💕

I like the snow but I miss how colorful everything was in summer. I wish I had snow irl instead...
Also not sure when is going to be a good time to take down xmas decor because it works so well with the snow

I still have the rainbow illuminated tree up by my house because there’s not enough rainbow themed items 😅😅😅

It doesn't even snow where I live, so it feels like it just overstays its welcome. I'm already out of the Christmas spirit.

I was sick of it days after the snow started to stick. The weeds look really cute, but like. When I'm terraforming, I keep the camera tilted up, and I found it's almost impossible at certain angles to tell if there's a second tier cliff somewhere while I'm building, and it's just frustrating, lol.

yes and yes lol
i find it hard to decorate too and i never liked the snow in animal crossing anyway. its nice for like a week and then im over it lol
the only thing that keeps me from time traveling too much is that there will be an update at the end of january so im waiting for that

I never liked winter in any of the games. I do love making snow people, but winter as just a season, not counting any special things, is just very bland and boring. There is endless white everywhere, one of my least fav colours.

My Northern Hemisphere island is in winter rn but I'm gonna TT back to summer, for a few reasons but one of them being is that I don't like the snow.

I'm absolutely over winter, I thought the snow was pretty too but it's honestly my least favorite season. I just want all the green to come back already lol, it's bad enough I can't build any snow people.

I'm not loving it or hating it.

I love the little snowflakes and how pretty all of the trees look. I'm also decorating my house to be like a cabin, so the cold, white weather outside matches my interior perfectly. I've also hung the little snowflake wreath on my door and I don't know...it just feels so festive.

On the other hand, I hate building the snowmen. I miss the snowmen minigame from New Leaf and I was sorely disappointed to find out it hadn't made a return to New Horizons. I miss making different types of snow people, but now all I'm left with is the boring snow boy. I also don't love the Winter DIYs. I think we're really limited in what we can do with them. I also think the flowers look weird. When all of the buildings and trees are covered in snow, it's a little weird seeing pristine flower gardens fill my town.

So, am I hating winter? No. Am I going to miss it when Spring arrives? Also no. 😁

I'm definitely not tired of it. I love the snow and I'm definitely enjoying every moment we have with it.

Nope, definitely not sick of winter. We have snow on the ground from the 11th of December until the 25th of February. That's two and a half months. So nine and a half without the snow. I'll enjoy something we get for a shorter amount of time. Now if you want to compare green grass versus NOT green grass, then it's kind of more half and half, with grass starting to turn in September. But I absolutely loved the autumn season. I don't know, I really like all of the seasons for different reasons in this game so far, and I'm just enjoying the time we get with each.

I really like the winter, but yes, I agree it makes landscaping/outdoor decorating more difficult, especially if you don't use custom patterns. Everything just looks weird on the white ground. I think I would like it better if my town was in a more finished state. But as it stands now, it's hard to envision what it would look like with actual grass.

I was stuck in winter in the NH summer months since I chose SH, lol. At launch, I barely experienced the green and I went straight into fall so me building my island was the strange fall-green and stark white.

It never deterred me on building up my island, like in the dead of winter I created the fish market, the custom patterns, terraformed areas all toward a summer jungle theme.

I think it made me focus more on terraforming because the lack of new bugs and fish during the winter months, lol.

Not yet! I actually really enjoy how everything looks in Winter. I actually feel like I can design more, as I have a hard time with what to decorate with in other seasons.

However, I know once the snow goes away, I'll love to see the grass again. I guess it really comes down to the fact that a change of scenery is always nice!

i love the glittery snow, but...today i did the forbidden thing and time traveled to spring...i'm now in may and everything is so pretty and green  i like winter ok, but it gets tiring and feels dead in a way that spring and summer and even fall don't, i'm guessing its the lack of bugs and the prevalence of the color white. ik winter is kind of supposed to be the "dead" season, following fall which is the "everything is dying" season but hm. depressing! fall is the season i was born in so i have a bit of a bias but there are at least crickets chirping...everything is just so quiet in winter. this got away from me. basically winter in acnh makes me a little depressed and the only good thing abt it is snowflakes, snowboys, decorations and christmas. and shiny snow. and the winter fashion. and the VILLAGERS in their cute little COATS AND HATS.
