Fireninja's whole thing with Punchy doesn't make any sense to me at all when it's clear as day that he is doing "lmao i'mma vote ness i'm funny xD" thing, which honestly shouldn't be alignment indicative to me. No clue what to make of it right now.
Anyway I wanted to point something out that I feel like people glossed over, which it isn't necessarily very telling, but the wording is weird:
Mog said:
omg why u voting punchy then? is this one of those moments where u vote first so everyone town reads u bc i swear that happens so often
I find this strange because it makes next to no sense to be asking this from a town perspective. Like, what exactly do you expect him to say, "Yes I'm rando voting punchy early so that it looks like i'm town"? It feels fillery, it's out of place if anyone understands what I mean.
Personally, I have always been an advocate for lynching players that tend to usually make it to the end of these games. Why ? Because they are, more often than not, considered not threatening to mafia. If you aren't threatening to mafia, then you aren't helping Town. Considering this is our most "hit or miss" lynch, I'd rather take a chance on someone who won't help the progression of the game, especially when we are relying on them at the end.
Hi, I like your flair, but I disagree. Unhelpful players are going to be unhelpful, but we shouldn't kill people off just for the sake of that. Its part of the reason why I always allow WotC in my games yet nobody ever uses, people wonder why "ugh this player is so annoying" when nobody uses the way to keep them out of games in the first place. I personally prioritize information over being rid of nuisances, but should one of the "deadweight" players appear scummy to me then I will determine whether I want to see them lynched.
Quick question, do you know what platform (website) is used for the mafia chat?
omk I'm not being active because I'm scum, I'm being active because I genuinely want to help.
*cue big bang theory laughing track*
Also instead of continuing to meme I’m really feeling the fire that Kayla is spittin, but also as someone who always get shot down for wanting to no lynch I know that’s a train not worth ridin.
So basically, you're saying that you agree with the prospect of killing off dead weights (as iLoveYou as stated), yet you don't want to fully take her side on it.
Why do I get the feeling that Dolby might be trying to get on my good side?
*Cues Seinfeld Music* kid if you're going to post stuff like this why can't you atleast give half of a reason why
Honestly I'm pretty sure you're not town. Just like really? This is either a bad townplay, a bad scumplay, or an obvious Jester play.
"Pretty sure you're not town" this is a pretty big statement given we're
4 hours into the game.
99 out of 100 times speculating TP does absolutely nothing. Fireninja did the same bs in Mystic Messenger and was softing jester D1, completely derailing the thread. Just ignore his **** tbh.
While I agree to the prospect of speculating him as third is useless, I don't think we can excuse him solely off of "he does this all the time just ignore him". Nevertheless I kinda like this post, simply because it's not that bad of a point in it of itself.
I'm not arguing that weaker players are more likely to be mafia. I'm arguing that ideally mafia want useless players hanging around the end of the game. If stronger players are going to get killed at night plus deadweights are slipping by, then what's left for Town ? Your goal of lynching scum on Day One seems too unrealistic to me based on the games I have personally played.
We have the roles like doc and veteran for a reason you know, the good players usually live for atleast some amount of time before all of them are completely killed off. While an easy scum strategy is to kill off the better players to leave the sheep, don't you think that it's kinda a poor idea to be wasting our lynch on newbie players considering that in a game this size we're more than likely to have a higher mafia count, possibly with a hostile third party? It just seems redundant to take out
1 newbie player when mafia/potential third party roles possess the capability of killing 2-4 of the good players at night.
I'm just actively trying to help town, while meanwhile you're tunneling me for no valid reason
Fireninja...literally...is voting you....for no reason.......yet.........you're saying toadsworthy is tunneling you.................
I assumed you were going to say that, but here is my "D1 first few hours" reads:
Tom - Mafia
toads - Posting seems weird but it always does and I got to observe his scum style quite closely in my game. I'm thinking town (even though his post ("*obligatory post about stupidly early read*") is the reason I mentioned the red flags.
Punchy - Possible mafia
Dolby - Town
Ghostkid - Probably town
Can you please elaborate more on these, particularly interested in the Tom read. Since you think him and Punchy are scummy, Trundle, do you believe that they are capable of being a team?
I like Trundles reads, and largely agree with them (except on how Ghost/Punchy relate to each other), and they actually did make me think that ILoveYou was town. ILoveYou does genuinely believe that lynching inactives is the best move, and honestly, as scum, I feel that she would accept the new meta rather than try to argue away from it to lynching inactives. Basically, I feel that her arguing comes from a town place and that she’d be willing to accept the change as scum
Uhhhhh what, Trundle said practically nothing in detail about his reads other than the Toads read. Why do you agree with reads that have no backbone?
thats basically it i'm caught up now and going to bed
