I can very much agree, although there are some good ones. You just need to twist things around.
Yes, some of us can't draw, so we use creators to help us visualize characters. I have designed an OC using that DreamSelfy creator, but I haven't found anyone to recreate her in an original drawing. I thought she was one and done, but it turns out that I'm still planning and working her out.
Also, some people just buy OC's and then buy art for them.
Buying ocs isn't really buying the OC, you're only buying the design. You set the personality, backstory, likes and dislikes by yourself, so you're making the OC but buying the design. Some of my fave OCs were from designs by someone else!
