Spoiler: My Cosmic Cosmetics Entry

The inspiration for this work comes from a villager named Goldie. I picked Goldie as an inspiration for a make-up look because Goldie was a villager I liked back in one of my old Animal Crossing: New Leaf towns. The front part of the hair is suppose to resemble the color of Goldie's ears while the back part of the hair resembles the fur color. For the make-up portion of this work... I tried to match up with Goldie's face to the best of my abilities and I hope I did a good enough job with that. Doing the eyebrows and eyelashes were a bit tricky for me because I wasn't sure what colors to use for them. Ended up using the same color that I did with the front part of the hair since it looked interesting after I tested it out on the line art. I like how my Goldie make-up look turned out. Coloring in line art is a first for me. I experienced a lot of trial and error when attempting all of this. It took a long while to finish this. The make-up portion was the one that took the longest for me to complete.

My look was inspired by the Festivale Dancer Extraordinaire, Pavé! I really just love his color scheme.

Fun fact: I had to pick up my husband and drive him to a tire shop right after taking this photo since he got a nail in his tire. I did not remove my makeup.

Here's mine. I took my inspiration from everyone's favorite scaredy ghost, Wisp.

Wisp has been a favorite character of mine since the first game, and his tendency to hide from almost everyone made it perfect for a more subtle look. I used the gems to represent the spirit pieces we collect to restore him. Blue and white eye shadow are his colors. And the tinted lip balm matches his smile. Bonus: my blue hair mimics the night, when he appears.

I haven't worn makeup in ages, so this was fun.

My make-up was inspired by Tiffany since she's based on Audrey Hepburn whose make-up I really love. This is my go-to make-up (when I actually bother putting on any) because I think red lipstick and winged eyeliner is a classic look that doesn't get old. I think Tiff gets some bad press because of her heavy make-up but I think she looks very put together ^^
I put my hair up in high pigtails, hoping it would somewhat resemble bunny ears but the image was cropped so it's not really visible. I'm not sure if a profile-shot is allowed so I included another picture in the spoilers just in case.

My look is inspired by Celeste. She is wearing a pink bow, pink cheeks, and has white spots over her brows just like Celeste. The burgundy eye shadow is inspired by Celeste’s feather colors and the orange lip is inspired by Celeste’s beak. Disclaimer: I’m not a professional!

Hello! I got to use my friend’s digital art thing that I used at her house and she let me have some fun with it! Digital art isn’t my strong suit since I don’t use it often, but this was fun to do!

Pietro was the character I decided to choose for this round because how can you not love this adorable sheep? I mean seriously? He’s just a bubbly warm sheep that will be excited to see you and run towards you to spread his cheer.

Hey everyone! This is my submission. Art has never been my strong suit and I haven't coloured in a long time so forgive how rough it looks. I really enjoyed doing this and found it very relaxing!

I based my make-up look on the Animal Crossing Villager named Cherry! I used a lot of black to incorporate her dark/gothic aesthetic and added a cobweb choker to match her usual outfit. I kept the make-up fairly simple to allow more focus on the heavy eye shadow around the eyes, similar to Cherry's face markings.

Here's mine! I really like my supercranky villager Hopper, so he's the inspiration for this makeup/hair. While I don't really like his yellow standard yellow shirt, the dragon print from that makes for good makeup. His red eyes have really grown on me.

I went for a look based on one of my favourites, Midge! I definitely wanted to incorporate the cheek swirls using makeup since it is one of her main features. I then went for the pink eyelashes and hair as it makes the look stand out. The yellow lipstick is to represent the beak and I went for orange eyebrows to complement the cheeks. I then added subtle pink jewels on the upper eyes and then earrings which match her NH default shirt.

I decided to use the snooty Gigi as my inspiration because I wanted to incorporate all of her bright colors. I tried to represent what I would try to do in real life with the cut crease, glossy overdrawn lips, and earrings. As well I did contour and highlighting to try to look more like her by contouring the forehead smaller and adding contour and highlight lower on the face than usual to make the bottom half of my face more prominent like hers. And of course nothing on the nose to make it disappear!

I hope this is ok because it's not as obviously connected to specific characters but it's still based on ACNH. It's inspired by Celeste (my fav NPC and unofficial fair mascot) in the eyes and the purple lipstick triangle. The palette (purples, dark green, gold, shiny white) is based on the night sky in ACNH when you're playing late at night. I based the splotches on the side on the sort of "splash" effect I've seen in some make-up looks.

Sorry if some of the lines are kind of wonky (like the triangle is not very straight) but I painted it on an app on my phone.

I printed this out to do traditionally and when I scanned it back in I saw that it was sort of washed out looking. I left it alone so this is without edits.

My design is based on Muffy. She & I both love the nighttime and we've both never outgrown our goth phase. The hair is actually light purple, dark purple & black. The flowers in the choker are based on the flowers of the Atropa Belladona plant -Deadly Nightshade. (The flowers are purple as well.)Thank you!

I am not really good at drawing and I know next to nothing about makeup which make this particular challenge rather difficult for me... But since I said I was going to try to enter everything I possibly could, here goes nothing...

My inspiration for this is Rosie, my favorite Animal Crossing Villager since a child. I used her color scheme to dictate the overall color scheme of the makeup, using her hair color for the hair color and a lighter version for the eye shadow. The blush was also based on Rosie's rosy cheeks, since I feel like its a pretty iconic part of her look. For the lips, I decided to go over a slightly accented natural look since Rosie doesn't wear any lipstick of her own in game. To finish off the look, I added a derpy little cat hairpin as an accessory as I felt like it was something cute she might wear.

I’m not sure which drawing program you use but you should be able to set the alpha channel to white on most applications and this will make the background transparent.

I knew when I saw the prompt that I just had to do a look inspired by Kabuki. Kabuki takes his style from the kabuki theatre whereby kabuki, a classical Japanese dance-drama, is performed. Performers put on an elaborate performance with glamorous costumes and don kumadori makeup. I included Kabuki’s red stripes into my makeup look and offset it with a white foundation. I decided to use the yellow of his eyes to create an eyelid look that is meant to be flared out like flames. I imagine the model wearing contacts that look “wave” like making them a bit unsettling yet calming like Kabuki’s personality. I also included the pink of his ears, tail, and paws into the model’s hair for added flair.

I also use Paint Tool SAI! If you set the layer mode to "multiply" the white will become transparent. That's how I did mine.

So this makeup look is designed after the NPC Rover! He's one of my favorite characters in the series & we bonded a lot on the never-ending train of character creation. The makeup look itself is based on the fact that Rover is a very sharp or bold character, at least in my opinion. So we have the bold reds, cat eye-esque eye makeup & pointy triangle hairpin. To top everything off, I added an argyle patterned blush/face paint situation, reminiscent of his OG outfit.
