My entry is based on Genji. The green eyeshadow and pattern is based on his shirt. Lips are popping. His ears, eyebrows and blush added in too. A bonus- the tattoo says his catchphrase in japanese
It took me a while, but here it is!
I'm not used to realistic stuff, but my entry is based off on Judy.
I decided to base it off her because of her starry and dreamy aesthetic which matches the fair theme.
I added a pink and blue ombre to her hair which matches her fur.
And I added sparkles as details.
Here's my entry based on Freya, I tried not to add too much makeup since I feel like Freya is pretty refined. I gave her pink hair and eyebrows along with yellow frosted tips (I think that's what you call those) in order to match her face and aesthetic. I made her eyeshadow a base yellow colour, and then added a light blue on top to match her eyes, and I also made the snout/nose makeup the same colour as the blue on her eyeshadow, because I thought it looked cute this way. She has light pink blush, and some yellow dots/stars below her eyes to accentuate them, along with some very light pink, non-glossy lipstick. Her eyes are dark blue with a yellow background just like in game, and I'd like to think these are just colour contacts that she pops in when she gets dressed up.
Inspired by my birthday twin, here's Astrid, the ultimate Aussie rockstar. I'd love to do this look myself but getting my hair like this would be a nightmare lol. Her eyelids are orange as per in the games. She has a slight blush on her nose and lips like her red nose. And of course, her signature star markings below her eyes. It's stated on her E-reader that her stars are actually makeup so she does this look everyday
My inspirations for this look are Pietro and my favorite drag queen, Kim Chi! This piece of haute (glue) couture and is an ode to the dramatic and emphasized style of drag, as it’s been something that I’ve wanted to try for a while. For the make-up, I tried to go with a palette that would make the pastel colors pop (white base, neutral lip, dark earthy collar and hat). The hat and collar were made by hand, along with the tear drop on my face! it’s amazing what some hot glue, a vision, and plenty of desperation can do!
My first thought when I saw this was immediately Kapp'n, one of my favourite NPC's from any game(s). I love him and his family and I really hope they get added to New Horizons some day. Also, I love turtles so it wasn't that hard to choose either what to do, slightly harder to figure out how to do it on a digital make-up canvas sheet. I think it went kinda cool though, even managed to get in his "bowl" on top of the head and his hair acting as his dark green "flaps" below.
I'm definitely more of a traditional artist haha, but I was inspired by my girl Pate! Her blush is on point and I'm not sure I really did her justice here, but I've always loved her blush and eyebrow combo so I thought it was perfect for this challenge! I tried to imitate her blush, then gave her yellow lipstick that mirrors her beak, and finished it off with her signature brows. Finally, I tried to show her unique hairline!
With my Cosmic Cosmetics, I thought; 'what if Etoile took a bath in a sunset'? And well here it is! The main focus of the drawing is the light and fluffy pink clouds; I wanted some form of transition between the stars and the clouds like the transition between dusk and night! The colours of a classic sunset excentuate the pink clouds, with the red contour to tie it all together! I love the way the whole look came together; its not subtle and it pops.
My inspiration is Celeste during the month of August & September, the Virgo season.
The hair colors are matching with her feathers' colors. I used a red 'face paint' to represent the cute red and white curves around her eyes. For the sparkle in her eyes, I've used some special Celeste contact lenses. A pink blush on the cheeks, a yellow lip stick, and a cute pink ribbon complete this Celeste style.
Finally, as the Virgo star fragment color is light purple, I've used this color for the eye shadow and earrings.
✧*・゚* this look was based off of my friend's favorite villager blanche. I really like her simplistic design and wanted the makeup to have the same kinda minimalistic vibe so I took the red blanche has above her eyes and rolled with that. there is some white details on the face because I wanted to showcase her feathers without figuring out how to actually draw feathers. I don't hate how this turned out and almost prefer the dainty white lines to using actual feathers. my blanche loving friend also approves and would like to try recreating this look on her own face so that's nice.
This is based on my favorite villager Stitches. The hair color is taken from Stitches' fur color and the star tattoos are from his original shirt. Stitches' color scheme is pretty iconic, so I just tried to incorporate it into the overall design
For my entry, I was inspired by Antonio the anteater. I found this little guy during one of my island hopping trips and I loved his design because it reminded me greatly of e-boys. For this design, I wanted to stick close to that idea so I did the e-boy make-up basics. Lots of blush, brown eye shadow, dark lips, piercings, and face tattoos. I made sure to stick with Antonio's color scheme so I made his hair grey, black, and white, similar to the colors of his tail. His face markings are "A" for Antonio and a star for his default t-shirt on his amiibo card. For his clothes, I gave him a black and white striped turtleneck inspired by e-boy fashion, to mimic the design on his arms. · • —– ٠ ✤ ٠ —– • ·
i inspired my look on celeste. i really like the dreamy theme and was really in between celeste and etoiler because theyre both so cute. my inner highlight is yellow to represent ber beak color, and the rest are smokey shades od red to resemble her coloring. i glued rhinestones onto my face with lash glue (rip to my skin later) to resemble her eyebrows ?? idk what they are lol. i went heavy on the blush because blush is so cute and celeste seems to love it too! i also went heavier on my brows because hers are literally block on her face as well <3 im pretty pleased with how it came out, but it was kind of awkward asking my conservative mexican mother to take these pics XD
Here's my entry! I honestly know little to nothing about makeup but some of the looks that cover up more of the face are really interesting and I thought I'd do my take on something similar! This look is inspired by my favourite AC villager, Julian! I'm such a sucker for starry themes too so I couldn't just not choose him :') He has a starry/space aesthetic and is also very,, blue so I tried to show that in this look with bits of purple here and there. The guy has purple eyeshadow too so I had to make sure to include that as well.
This fun look is inspired by Astrid the kangaroo! This is a minimalist clown look (lol) complete with classic star stickers in blue, red, and green, blue winged eyeliner, bright red lips, and a tiny red clown nose (o: Lots of glitter completes the starry effect. I had a lot of fun making this look! I don't wear makeup anymore, so it was nice to break it back out and go a little crazy
My entry is inspired by Diana. I've literally never attempted to do makeup before but I figured she would be a great first attempt as I love her colors. I went with a pink and purple vibe and a bit of a deeper color for her blush. Purple for the eyebrows seemed fitting and a lighter pink for the lips seemed like a nice contrast to the general purple vibe. I originally was going to fully color in the hair purple, but I think the white hair with some purple to it is a nice homage to Diana in a way.
Face revel time!! My look was inspired by Celeste. She’s a lot like me and I love astronomy (not like horoscopes, the stars intrigue me and I find them SO COOL), and I love her color pallet. The shades and glitter (the eyeshadow) were super fun to play around with! She’s one of my favorite npc’s, and as soon as I saw this I knew I should do a look based on her! (I have so many pinks and reds it’s not even funny :D )
Anyway, this what a blast to do!! I can’t believe that this was one of my first really heavy makeup looks, so I’m so thrilled that it came out well
Here is my make up look I was inspired by Muffy
I have always liked Muffy and the colours that she has on her/ colours used in her outfits. She doesn't have harsh black tones on her and for this I have kept it minimal and put only black lipstick and black eyeliner. I have stuck to the 3 lovely shades of purple that she wears as well and have used this as ombre eye shadow. The foundation for this make up look is porcelain white as Muffy likes the gothic look.
Lastly Iv'e added some gentle like pastel pink blush on her cheeks for that nice rosey cheek look to help with the harsh porcelain gothic look.
Here's my entry. I love robots and weird villagers, so my makeup look is inspired by my favorite villager; Sprocket, my lovely robot ostrich. ♡ Complete with a metal/steel look, blue android eyes, orange lips [inspired by his beak], and his 04-number. This took me longer than I'm willing to admit ^^' but I had so much fun drawing him like this!
