I chose to embody the grumpy best boy, Kabuki!
I used some grease paint from last Halloween to create this look, the stuff is a nightmare to work with, but I'm happy with how it turned out. My dog is not a fan of facepaint, and keeps running away from me though. Wish I had a big poofy wig to add to the look, oh well, I hope you like it!

My look was a take on Gayle, and pink is clearly the main colour. The lips have a heart, referencing the heart on Gayle’s snout. The eye shadow is the snout colour because I wanted it to be a subtle shade of pink. The hair colour is to incorporate the pink that covers most of Gayle’s front section of the face. The stickers and clip was to put more hearts in the look, as Gayle’s picture has 2 floating hearts. The xo sticker was to add a lil cuteness, and some words to make it look complete.

Inspired by Dodo Airlines!!
Blue and yellow are Wilbur and Orville colours (and in general DAL colours), so I used those to create a makeup look. I also added a thick black stripe across my nose to kind of resemble dodo's beak + small DAL stickers under my eyes (the symbol I used was drawn by me, referencing the original DAL symbol, here it is and a comparison to the original: )

My inspiration was Pekoe. I gave her a berry red lip color (we all know she looks fabulous in reds!) and the same blush she typically wears. In order to highlight her beautiful green eyes and to not clash with her lips, I gave her a light blue shadow, lined her eyes, and darkened her brows. I also did a lot of highlighting and contouring as I would in real life. I gave her silver hair and sparkles since she's a fancy lady. The design of her earrings is from the red cheongsam she wears.

My entry is based on Bob. I think he is pretty funny and design wise, the colors suit him so well. He has different
shades of purple so I replicated that here. I do want to mention that I’m currently wearing a cast for my arm and I did what I could with my limitations.

Ooops. Tried to post this in the dream sequence thread. Here is my take on my baby Mira.
I started playing Animal Crossing because my daughters insisted… So my first game was new leaf. I immediately fell in love with Mira and her beautiful yellow eyelashes. From day one she has been beside me! I love my little Space Bun!

I based my make up look on Diva. She gets a lot of hate from people for being "ugly" but I had her in my town and she definitely grows on you. Her make up is bold and fierce and I felt like if she was ever a real person, you know she would be a make up guru helping you out with your make up look due to her uchi personality.

Hi there! I did a makeup look on the sisterly villager, Diva. I love the fact that she looks like a snooty villager but isn't! Despite Diva being a tomboy, she still puts effort into her everyday "glam" appearance. I think her makeup resembles one that came out of a high-fashion editorial shoot. I am a huge fan of using bold colors in real life. She has dark violet, fluffy eyelashes that makes her eyes pop. Her icy silver lips compliment her skin complexion, and her cyan eyeshadow is vivid but doesn't overpower her strong facial features.

I call this look "femme Gaston". I stayed with a nice yellow palette to keep the Gaston theme going. Hope y'all like it haha. I kinda wish I had that hair clip in real life. Also I tried not to use imgur for this picture so hopefully it's not broken.

Soo... I finally had the courage/time to do this traditionally! After many failed attempts on digital art because I was ashamed to show my face lol

I had to do a Celeste inspired look, even tho so many people are inspired by her too, because she’s the most beautiful character for me, and by far my favorite NPC. So chick and classy. Also fits the fair very well. I went for a bit of a goth theme for her, I like to mix it with being girly at the same time, irl. I did the braids inspired on her brows and if you look closer, my chocker has the same pattern as her belly. Lots of highlighter and some glitter had to be included. Hope you like it, it was a lot of work to do

I tried a few different characters before eventually deciding on who to use as a basis, but I eventually decided on Freya. She's one of my favorite villagers and seemed like a happy medium between visually interesting and something I could make look halfway decent with my current (low) level of skill at digital art. I'm sorry, Ribbot, I can't capture your shiny, intricate splendor.

Her eyeshadow was fairly easy to decide on since she has that sky blue eyeshadow in the games already. The reddish outline of her eyes really makes them pop visually in-game, so I stuck with that color for her mascara. I wasn't sure what color to go with for her lips, but decided on the darker blue that is present on the inside of her ears in-game, and I ended up liking it because it kept with a general blue theme of both the eye shadow and the irises of her eyes. I was also unsure of what to do about the color of the sclera (whites) of her eyes because it's nothing to do with make up, but I decided to stay true to her in-game look and use yellow because her eyes are really striking and one of the reasons she appeals to me.

I completed this one first, but I found it to be too plain. I wanted to use her originally since I like her but she doesn't seem too popular.

I don't know how to use digital media and only had a very limited amount of colors to work with as far as my markers and color pencils. I had NO good skin tones despite the marker I used for her skin said "Flesh" ....*siiiiighs* Sometimes I really hate traditional media ;w;

I know nothing about make up and never wear any, and despite what it looks like, I did honestly try. This look is a "natural" look based on Raymond that's not meant to be quite as fancy. I also tried to be sure to work in all elements of his colors (except for the horrible orangey-peach skin, I am so sorry ew...x__x.

here's my "I suck at makeup" Pekoe-inspired look... I intentionally picked the lightest foundation color I owned (which is not what my shade is... at all xD). I didn't have color lenses, so tried to use blue shadow to kind of mimic that instead. I also did a red lipstick to match her Chinese-style shirt.
If I had access to white lead (which I don't because that stuff is poisonous), and whatever red pigment they used in ancient China, this is probably the mess I would have looked like :^)

fun fact: that blue eyeshadow i used is like 5 years old because normally I wear netural colors... lol.
I did try to do a version with buns but I don't think it looked as good so I'm not posting it

i'm so mad at myself, this was the event i was looking forward to most and i waited too long haha, unfortunately i have work all this week and i'm not sure i would find the energy after work, it took me so long to complete it (not sure how) that it got dark outside so sorry about the low quality images!

this is my look! i couldn't choose between the two lovebirds so i chose both lol! pink on one half of my face to represent reese and blue to represent cyrus! i wanted this to be a wedding look so i added a veil as well lmao, i added a lot of hearts to represent their feelings for each other! i hand drew them so they're a little squint haha, but it comes from the heart. i also added a lot of glitter on my eyelids and did my very first cut crease :0 sadly it's kind of hard to see bc of the bad quality. i rly enjoyed doing this though, i love make up even if i'm bad at it, i imagine reese wears a lot of it! it was fun doing a blue eyeshadow, i've never worked with that before in my life haha. i added a few images, not sure why they're all similarly bad quality, hope that's ok! if not let me know and i'll delete!
