Crossover Items: What's your wish?

I knew before viewing the poll that Zelda would be the top leader. It goes without saying we want the Zelda stuff back. We had it in the other games, so it only makes sense to have them come back. More so because this is Zelda's 35th anniversary and it wouldn't make sense for them to not take advantage of that celebration.

If we get Zelda Mipha would make for a great villager as well.

First off, we need the Nintendo items. Surely, Legend of Zelda or Pokemon will be next. After that, a logical choice would be Disney items. Not necessarily Disney characters...but maybe a Disney World pack, with some notable items that you'd see at the actual Disney parks. And if I we want to get REALLY far-fetched, I'd personally love a Simpsons crossover.

Upon rethinking what I just said...Disney items might be out of the question, since Nintendo has direct ties to the Universal parks. So...maybe Universal items instead. I dunno. Lol.

OR...Studio Ghibli. Yes and please.

The Zelda items in NL were some of the best crossover items. I like them more than the Sanrio items and really hoping they roll them out again for NH.

Pokémon is the other crossover but I doubt it will happen. TPC is not directly owned by Nintendo so crossover is less likely to happen, unlike Zelda or Splatoon. If we do get one, unlikey as it may be...I would like interactive Pokémon dolls, a Pokemon egg plush and clothing.

2. Can we add more Nintendo franchises? Kirby? Star Fox? These have Amiibos already!

i would like to see the 7-eleven set return, especially the food displays/cases. no need for it to be a collab though, just items in the same vain would be nice.

as for nintendo franchises, it would be cool to see the previous crossover items make a return in new horizons. zelda, pikmin, f-zero, and metroid. even the mario items that didn't make the cut for this past update (peach's parasol, yoshi egg, bill blaster). i especially want the pikmin items the hoods, pikmin "flower" pot, and ss dolphin were all super cute in new leaf. other nintendo franchise crossovers i'd love to see would be earthbound/mother and kirby. especially kirby.

other unlikely crossovers i'd be totally into are pokemon, san-x, studio ghibli, sailor moon, etc.

Pokemon most definitely! Something like Ash's hat, a pokeball rug, some pokemon plushies, I don't know what else because I'm not that creative

I also picked brands but ONLY for the 7-11 items from New Leaf, I definitely don't want the brand thing to be taken too far.

I think I pokemon crossover could be pretty cool if they added more unique items. for example instead of just giving us a "Pokeball figure" or something they could give us the default outfits of the player character (kind of like they do in pokemon go) or more creative and usable items. I also am not crazy of the Mario Items because they aren't very useable on the average island. it would have been cool like you said if they gave us a Yoshi costume, or I was thinking a Yoshi egg backpack or something creative like that.

After reading some of your comments, I realized how little I cared and knew about Pocket Camp. Apparently there has been Pokémon items before in Animal Crossing... I'm SHOOK.

Well, if New Horizons ever makes a crossover with Pokémon: then I'm hoping for tons of actual items and outfits that are Pokémon, and not based on trainers.

Heck, I even take a PokéDex styled theme for our Critterpedia on the NookPhone haha.

I so agree with this. The 7eleven set was cool and I really wouldn't mind more real life brands in the game. If anything that would just keep New Horizons alive longer and longer if we constatnly got new items through campaigns!

As for the Nintendo items, yeah: I'm rather confused why we didn't even get all previous Mario items as I stated on my first comment. This is the 35th anniversary yet they barely gave us everything that was in the older games. You know: Yoshi egg, Tripple Shells, Banana Shell, Piranha Plant, and more.

The other Nintendo IPs I imagined would have been Nook Miles locked but not even that... I too miss the F-zero, The Metroid, Pikmin flower saying "Piiiiikmiiiin!", and all those lovely Zelda items.

1. More Sanrio. They have like 100 characters they could use and they've already done Sanrio so I feel like another one would be easy?
2. Pokemon. Can you imagine how cute Pokemon villagers would be? Or Pokemon food items?
2. Kirby. I can't think of a villager species for him... maybe a chubby hamster? Either way, I can imagine the items to be cute.
3. San-X would be so cute too! A Rilakkuma cub villager? Yes, please!

I'd love to see a Story of Seasons or Rune Factory crossover. They both have some good options for villagers. From Rune Factory, you could have a Woolly, a Buffamoo, a Chipsqueek, and a Cluckadoddle. Or one of the other monsters could be a good option. Story of seasons could be a bit difficult just because their animal designs are very similar and I think they mostly already look like existing villagers. Like Mac kind of already looks like your dog and Tipper looks like the classic black and white cow in the game.
