Name: Dozing Water Beast Behaviors: Sleeping, Disinterested Size: 5 Foot Habitat: Deep Underwater Expedition Notes: This cryptid was surprisingly disinterested in its visitor as it continued to doze on the oceans floor. Not much is known about this beast besides the fact it likes to sleep 22 hours a day! This Beast appears to be gentle and makes for a good expedition down the ocean floor, best bring snacks though, because its known to get hangry very often..
Name: Canadian Big Foot
Behaviors: way too polite, frequent apologizing
Size: 2.9m tall
Habitat: Cold, Snowy Canadia

Island Map Proof:
Name: The Kraken!
Behaviors: Terrorizing Sailors
Size: 50 feet tall
Habitat: The Deep Sea
Expedition Notes: I found the place of legend. Upon entering the Hidden Dungeon of the Deep, I quickly realized my mistake. This one-of-a-kind kraken thankfully didn’t notice me, because if it did, it would of unleashed all its power and grew to full-size, wrecking absolute havoc on everyone and anything! Glad I got out of there before it was too late!
Island Map (proof):
Name: The masked fox Behaviors: Lazy but cunning Size: 4 ft. tall Habitat: Swampy forest or Stone tomb Expedition Notes:
As I trek the swampy forest, I spotted some sort of commotion just outside the stone tombs. I couldn’t believe my eyes. He isn’t a fox after all. I was able to snap a photo just immediately after he turned that thing into stone. I made a run for it just before he could glare into my eyes with his cunning stare. I wonder how much I could get for this photo? Oh man, I forgot to turn the flash on!
Heya, @Pyoopi! Is there anything wrong with my entry? It hasn't been accepted nor you pointed that it has a problem. Some entries after it were accepted, so I just wanted to make sure...
Edit: if the description seems inappropriate I can totally rewrite it hahah
Expedition Notes:
the giant sentient orange can be found deep within the mangrove swamps surrounded by non-sentient oranges. the sentient orange can transform into a normal orange as camouflage if frightened or hunting prey. it juices whatever crosses its path with its unmatched strength and has a faint citrus smell. the sentient orange reproduces via fragmentation and can quickly spawn several more sentient oranges at will. the sentient orange has no known weaknesses so if you come across a few seemingly lost oranges on your hike, its best to take a different route
Name: Sand Hare Behaviors: Hyperaware of her surroundings Size: ~5ft (observed) Habitat: Desert
Expedition Notes:
I went to light the torches before the sun went down and suddenly felt the sand beneath my feet shift. I quickly hid and saw this rabbit like creature emerge from the sand nearby. The sand hare is truly composed entirely of sand like the legend says! Oh no. I must have moved her pitcher earlier when I was looking for water! This may be my last expedition...
Name: Neko Yōkai (cat spirit)
Behaviors: elusive, non-aggressive so long as left alone
Size: roughly 24” tall
Habitat: peaceful homes, often found in tea rooms but almost never sighted in homes that have a physical house cat
Expedition Notes: tuck your legs under the kotatsu and sip on a warm cup of tea because that’s the best way to spot a Neko Yōkai. In this vein I drank a whole pot of matcha tea while hoping to catch a glimpse of this elusive cat spirit, but it wasn’t until I stated to nod off that she finally showed herself {clever kitty}! Luckily my camera caught her nonetheless…
Name: roald but with a crop top
Behaviors: being absolutely fabulous
Size: thiccc
Habitat: ice palace
Expedition Notes: while exploring the cold and treacherous Antarctica, I stumbled upon a beautiful icy castle that looked as if it was straight out of a fairy tale. unfortunately I had made a grave error in my decision to go inside, because what I saw inside is something no mortal should ever have the displeasure of seeing for themselves
Island Map (proof):
Name: Ursudae Aequor (Latin for Deep-sea Bear) Behaviors: Unpredictable - prone to unexpected aggression contrary to seemingly innocent cuddly appearance Size: Deceptively land-small but morphs to a frightening undersea proportion of nearly 10 feet Habitat: Deep ocean sea bed Expedition Notes: I grabbed my camera and captured a shot at last of this frightening undersea cryptid who commands the beasts of the undersea world with terrifying ease … I narrowly escaped a terrible demise on my last encounter! I’m actually very reluctant to try diving again!
Name: Jackalope Behaviors: Fast, aggressive, has an attitude. Size: Larger than a small rabbit, about 5 feet tall. Habitat: American grasslands and desert ruins.
Expedition Notes: It seems like this jackalope wanted to be found. Standing center in a home built seemingly to be seen, this creature showed no aversion to photography. One thing that I am shocked about is it's antler size. Was expecting something more than just some small white horns. Oh well, thats threatening enough to me.
It's on Lopez because I thought I'd use him. Turns out you cant put bunny ears on villagers. Had to go with bunnie and give her horns
Name: Pixieroo Behaviors: Has a serious penchant for mischief. Likes to dance and sing under the full moon. Lets nobody near her young. Size: 4 ft tall Habitat: Forests but occasionally has been spotted on farms
Expedition notes: I was awoken by the sound of mysterious laughter one night. Stepping out of my tent, what should I discover but a creature I had only read about in books but never seen with my very own eyes. As I watched the cryptid perform some sort of magical spell on those turnip seedlings I had planted, causing them to grow instantly, a strange mixture of joy and wonder swirled in my heart. I was compelled to join the Pixieroo in all her mirth but I decided it was best to stay hidden. After all, the memory of this enchanting scene will be with me always.
Name: Midnight Hound Behaviors: wary of humans, prefers to flee instead of fight, scavenges from people's trash in the dead of night. Size: 5ft Habitat: forests of Lakewood -- occasionally glimpsed on the edges of nearby neighbourhoods.
Expedition Notes
The product of hubris and a selfish desire to defy the laws of life and death, the Midnight Hound serves as a cautionary tale about what happens when humans meddle with the supernatural. After being freed from his cage by a guilt-ridden lab assistant, he now hides out of sight in the forests on the edge of the city, concealing what remains of his decaying body behind a veil of used bandages. The rumours describe him as an eldritch horror, cursed to haunt the living and bring about misfortune, but all I saw on the night of the 13th was a lost and tortured soul. I am tempted to bring him home with me...
Habitat: Forest amongst the trees and wild mushrooms
Expedition Notes: This cryptid is known as the werebear its a 8ft tall red and yellow eyed crazed werewolf-bear. The werebear’s natural habitat is in the campground forest hiding amongst the flora and fauna eating the red mushrooms to make it more aggressive. I was taking a walk in the forest to help stretch my legs a bit and get some fresh air before going back to the cabin to have a goodnight sleep. When I happened to notice a pair of red and yellow glowing looking orbs in the trees, curious I went to investigate and stumbled upon the werebear. I stood in fear as he yelled out his mighty werebear roar for a second. I couldn’t move then before he took a step I ran as fast as I could not looking back as I heard him running behind.
Name: Bearmaid Behaviors: powerful vocals, great swimmer Size: 5 feet (from head to tail) Habitat: secluded coastlines
Expedition Notes:
Some locals claim that every afternoon, at around 4PM, a beautiful but ominous song can be heard at the northernmost point of the island. Meanwhile, others have claimed to have heard growling at the same hour. Local sightings also mention a mermaid, while others insist on seeing a shadow of a beast. Intrigued by these two conflicting rumors, I went ahead to investigate only to end up confirming not one, but both accounts to be true. It was a "bearmaid" -- part beast and part fish! However, because of my audible gasp, the creature was startled and dove back into the sea.
Name: Hungry Frog Behaviors: Very hungry and steals nearby snacks Size: 1ft Habitat: Rivers near houses and neighborhoods
Expedition Notes
I was taking a midnight stroll by the river with some snacks and this Hungry Frog darted out and took my popscicle! Following him, I found him snacking on a giant pile of snacks. Looking closer at the food, it was all food that the rest of the island had lost the past few days!
Name: Angelisis Equidae Behaviors: Reviving forests, causing dream-like paralysis, shy disposition. Size: 6ft Habitat: Forests Expedition Notes: Be cautious when roaming alone in the woods, as you may counter this creature without remembering it! While it helps to bring back forest life, it's revitalizing power causes a confusing, dream-like state to passers by. Fortunately, this keeps its existence mostly a secret!

Name: Luppy, the Living Underwater Pineapple Behaviors: Unmoving, protective of its associate sponge Size: 3 feet, 2 inches Habitat: Bottom of the Pacific Ocean Expedition Notes: When I reached the bottom of the ocean floor, I was shocked to discover that the rumors of the cryptid pineapple were true! I didn't understand how such a thing could exist, but I saw a small, strange sponge creature nearby that seemed to live inside of it. It looked like the pineapple had an endosymbiotic relationship with the sponge, wherein the pineapple gave shelter to the sponge in exchange for the sponge helping to take care of it. What a marvelous thing to witness! I had to leave in a hurry when my oxygen tank began to run low, but I must return back here soon to get even more details about this pineapple!
