Yes, every day. Especially after heavy meals and huge lunches

Never by choice! Napping actually makes me feel horrible. I feel more groggy and then I get panicked because I wasted a good portion of daylight away. But sometimes I just can't help myself.

I've had stress-induced insomnia for the past three weeks off and on lol. I went about 3 days without sleeping one day, and then I had to still go to class and work. So I came home and I napped from like 3pm-8pm, then screwed up my sleeping schedule even more. :p So I usually avoid it when I can. If I could figure out the secret to power napping like other people obviously have mastered, then I'd be very happy! But I don't have enough free time and leeway to risk experimenting with it so I'll have to do that when life has calmed down.

Yes, I tend to take naps every now and then haha I'm quite a night owl so I stay up pretty late. However, I don't take naps as nearly as much nowadays as I used to when I was younger lol During adolescence napping a lot was a thing but now, I just do so if my evergy is depleted or if my batteries need a quick recharge. Over napping can be an issue for me though as it can throw off my sleep schedule 😅

I can’t usually fall asleep during the day, but if I’m exhausted, I can do what I call “resting,” where I’m not quite asleep but still recharge a little, enough to at least keep me functional.

I usually wake up after 15 minutes when I nap. I usually prep for work at 5am (or my brain decides to be alert at 4 if I'm particularly stressed) so I end up having to nap in the evening.

Just when I'm really sick or didn't sleep for 24h or more, so rarely. When I do i usually sleep 1-2 hours.

It depends, really. If it's early enough in the afternoon/evening where it won't affect me going to sleep later on at night, I will. However, if I have an awful migraine or allergy attack, I'll take a nap no matter what.

me, every day: i need a nap
me, also every day: no time to nap too much to do not enough day in a day
.____.

Usually not, naps tend to just mess up my sleep schedule and make me feel worse than before more than anything. If I do happen to take a nap it's always unintentional, like if I'm laying down and I just fall asleep out of nowhere then that's out of my control

oh yes i love to sleep. im known for accidentally napping through the evening. i never napped in elementary or middle school once high school hit i had to wake up as early as 5:30 or 5:45 sometimes in order to get ready for school on time. there were times when i'd crash immediately after school at like 2pm and then sleep until my 6am alarm. wild. in college i have more freedom to nap which is awesome, im gonna take one soon actually cuz i only got like 4.5 hours of sleep for some reason. honestly i don't even know if you can call my naps 'naps' because i cannot take short naps at all. it's like i immediately fall into deep sleep or something lmao. on average i'd say my naps are like 3ish hours. but man literally like a week ago i took a nap and slept for nearly 12 hours. i woke up at 3 am like... okay well this is where i am now i guess.

I only take naps if I am SUPER exhausted (which is rare for me) or if I have a migraine.
Naps really mess me up.. and if I don't have a headache before taking one, I'll proooobably have one after waking up.

I'm kinda incapable of taking naps. I can only nap if 1 I'm really sick or 2 it's already close to the time I go to sleep. And even when I am really sick my nap is like 20 minutes long at most. Last time I had to nap cause I was really sick was over a year ago when I had covid (thanks old job). But I don't get that sick (thank god) or not-so-sick often. I also can't go back to sleep in the daytime.

none of the voting options resonated with me so I'll just drop my two cents here ^^'

I try to avoid naps when I can. I will fall asleep at times when I'm browsing in bed or on a comfy armchair, but try to stay awake at all cost unless I'm going to bed for the day. Whenever I wake up from a nap, no matter how long or short it was, I feel absolutely awful. I usually feel nauseous, have a headache, brain fog and can't get anything done for the rest of the day. It takes me several hours to physically recover from a nap. I'd much rather be sleepy than deal with whatever the heck happens to my body after a nap. Sometimes I even wake up from naps with strained, red eyes?! So yeah hard pass.

My mom can have "power naps" of 15 minutes and wake up completely refreshed. How are we related? haha ^^

I'm honestly the same way tbh, naps just make things worse for me. I'd rather just get some coffee or something and force myself to wake up a little bit lmao.

I take naps occasionally in the afternoon, but I prefer taking power naps for less than 30 minutes. Napping can make me feel groggy and I often have trouble falling asleep at night after taking long naps in the afternoon. That's why I try to get enough sleep at night so I can take less naps during the day.

Absolutely! I cannot really get through the day so well without having one. Usually lasts 2-3 hours.

i used to sleep a lot more and take naps almost everyday just because i couldnt stay awake, although they would go on for hours and left me feeling sleepy afterwards.

ive been behind on sleep lately though so maybe i should take a few naps again

No, I hate naps. Even as a baby I stayed awake throughout the entire day. The only time I actually take them is when I’m sick. Otherwise I force myself to stay awake until bed.

yes! i don’t take naps every day, but i definitely do take them! the length of my naps depend on how well i slept the night before, my mental state, if i have anything to do after i wake up, etc, but my naps can typically last anywhere between 40 mins to a few hours.

I don't take naps. I'd only fall asleep during the day if I got home extremely late the night before and am running on just a couple hours of sleep.
