How do you start your morning?

my days usually start in the afternoon, lol. i need to fix my sleep schedule really badly
i wake up and get out of bed sometime between 11am - 1pm. first thing i do is let my dog out and make something to eat. usually its some sort of dish with eggs, i dont really like most american breakfast foods theyre too sugary for me
if we have french rolls i'll bake those and then put lunch meat on them, boil an egg, eat a banana or whatever.
after food ill brush my teeth
then ill take care of my plants if they need watered or moved inside (bc of the heat)
then i do some dailies in AC and yeah, thats my 'morning!'
 
Still in quarantine but bf isn't so I wake up with him at 7am lol
Take meds
Make breakfast and eat outside if it's nice and sunny to get some sunlight
Check AC, Youtube and here
Whatever chores I have for the day and planning dinner
 
My mornings usually start off with the screaming cat or two meowing at me for food in the morning.
After I feed the meowing symphony, I usually just have an instant breakfast milk and a small piece of toast.
Fortunately I'm able to work from home so I don't have to shower until later when I check things. My SO is usually still asleep and his alarm goes off later.
We both work at home together, but in different rooms so we don't end up going insane :).

My mornings starts off similar to yours with my cat doing the exact same thing :LOL:
My ritual is usually a hot shower to wake me up and a cup of coffee to start my day. Depending on how hungry I am, I'll either have a light breakfast consisting of bread and fresh milk/ coffee or I'll have a heavy breakfast equivalent to a lunch meal :unsure:
 
first step is to wake up around 2pm but pretend it’s okay because at least it’s not 5pm😍

i’ll probably lay in bed for another 15-30 minutes before sitting up and turning on my phone and then i’ll deal with any notifications that i have will also check the forums because i am,, obsessed

once i’ve been caught up to speed, i’ll leave my room to go find my cat since she’s the first person i typically want to see lmao and then i’ll likely get something to eat and my day just goes on from there aha

i’m unemployed with my only responsibility really being school but with the pandemic + summer, my routine has been pretty laidback since march aha
 
I go back to sleep. Not sure why I even wake up that first time, but the bed is comfortable so it's nice if I'm not forcing myself to get up.

Once I'm awake for more than five minutes I'll check my various accounts for notifications, responding to any important ones. Then I eat something, either toast or leftovers from last night's dinner. After that I don't have much of a routine.

Otherwise my morning routine on days off/vacations has no/less alarms and I do eat breakfast.
 
Wake up, crawl to kitchen to pack coffee and breakfast, then flop into car because I give myself little time from waking up to heading out for work.

hold my will to sleep again for 15 mins
breakfast
do daily chores
play ACNH
 
  • check emails and phone notifications
  • make bed
  • grab ensure/quick breakfast and coffee/tea or an actual meal on the weekends
  • brush teeth, brush hair, wash face, pee (in any order)
  • feed cats
  • start roomba and move the cat deathly afraid of the roomba into my bedroom
  • start doing work required for the day

wtf is this the bootleg american psycho, irish psycho? who brushes their teeth before they eat? 😭

umm ME bc i don't want to BRUSH food INTO my teeth
 
I usually start my day by doing body stretches so I don't accidentally pull my muscles at one point. I then cook some oatmeal and heat bread for a good breakfast. Next, I turn on the T.V. to check the news and possibly cartoon shows that I don't mind watching. If that's not an option, I turn on my Nintendo Switch to either watch Youtube or play Animal Crossing. Recently, I've been playing on different game consoles to keep things fresh.
 
It depends on the day, but my preferred morning is usually like so:

Alarm goes off at 3:50a, snooze until 4a. Get out of bed, drink pre-work out shake, eat banana or trail mix, get dressed for gym, workout for an hour.

Go home and shower, eat breakfast, and get dressed for work.

Lately I've been hitting the snooze button a few times and fall back asleep. No gym. Just sleepiness.
 
Mine involves doing the dishes while throwing a tantrum because I’m hangry and can’t make myself food in a messy kitchen.
 
Every single morning I shower and brush my teeth. If it's a weekday I will proceed to open Slack and work. If it's the weekend I might get some chores done or laze around for a few hours. I don't eat breakfast regularly.
 
I'm currently working from home through at least the end of the year due to COVID-19 so I don't have to get dressed and drive to work everyday. That gives me some time back in the mornings, but my dog still won't let me sleep any later than usual.

On workdays:
- Alarm goes off at 7:30am or my dog wakes me up a few minutes before that.
- Get up and go to the bathroom.
- Take the dog on a quick walk around the yard (10 mins or less).
- Come back in and feed my dog.
- Lay down on the couch and rest for about 30 mins or so.
- Get back up at 8:15am.
- Wash my dog's food bowl and put it away.
- Brush my teeth.
- Brush my hair.
- Open the blinds in front of my desk and turn my work computer on.
- Grab a bottle of water and settle in to start my workday.

On weekends:
- No alarm but my dog still wakes me up between 7:00-8:00am.
- Get up and go to the bathroom.
- Take the dog on a quick walk around the yard (10 mins or less).
- Come back in and feed my dog.
- Lay down on the couch and rest until my dog is done eating.
- Get back up when he's finished, maybe wash his bowl or not if I'm too tired.
- Go back to bed and sleep until about noon.

I am not a morning person at all and I can't eat anything before noon or I feel nauseous so no breakfast for me.
 
I’m going to go with what I do on my days off work In the morning..
I wake up usually around 7am, on my way stumbling to the bathroom I have to bend down to pet kitty #1 and then bend down again to pet kitty #2. Freshen up, do my makeup, listen to youtubers, drink a V8 and then start playing some animal crossing ^_^ sometimes I’ll go out and buy a morning smoothie but it’s so far away sometimes I don’t feel like it. :p
 
I've been unemployed since May, so right now:
  • Check TBT hasn't exploded since the American/Canadian mods went to sleep.

First thing I do when I wake up, go back to sleep. That or lay in my bed for any where from half an hour to an hour, depending on what time it is. Alot of the time I wake up (I'm a restless sleeper) and I'm not ready to start the day. Sometimes my blankets are just too cozy, or I don't feel like socializing with the fam.

After that I eat what ever I feel like for breakfast, usually a bagel, cereal or freezer waffles.
