For the no photographs rule, does that mean we can't take in game photos of our own islands and use those in the magazine?

A4 would be perfect, but there is no set limit. Going too small would of course harm chances of succeeding in the staff voting and public voting phases because it wouldn't stand out. For context, over 300 users have already interacted with elements in the TBTF in some way, shape, or form!

Also question, if we’re doing traditional, would everything have to be drawn or can we cut out (solid) colored paper to use?

You can used coloured paper as long as it doesn't have any designs/patterns printed on it and it is lying flat.

One (hopefully) last question. I made just a quick example Digital drawing is allowed right? And I always draw with my wacom tablet but now I'm curious. I can make the lines pretty steady with the tools in Illustrator like in the above image in the example. Does this count as cheating? Not sure as one can do the same with a ruler, but just curious. Or must it be less steady like in the lower image when you draw digital?

i'm pretty sure that would be fine. i always use a stabilizer. it's included in most drawing programs too and you can even adjust how stable you want it to be for some of them

also it's not like you're coping anything or using a preexisting pattern.

As long as it doesn't look like you've just copied and pasted, or traced, official artwork or an in-game screenshot then it's okay! These look like they were drawn so they're fine.

Hi, just a question about this! If we use an existing magazine as a reference, can we link an image of it as well or at least say its name when submitting our entry? (asking cause i'm thinking of using magazines i read as a kid but i'm french so i assume no one would know them)
Oh and while I'm at it, actually, do newspapers count as magazines?
