Anyway, IDK what's going to actually happen (how will it be "useless"?) if I leave a foraged mushroom in my inventory, so I'll have to test that out and see what happens.

It will just turn into an item called “Useless Mushroom” that you can’t do anything with.

Day 8 has ended with many fortunate foraged mushrooms in your lineups. Unfortunately, some are still getting sick from the unfortunate ones. Day 9 starts now!

Also, I strongly recommend not waiting until the last minute to obtain all foraged mushrooms at once. Every day someone forgets to spend their spores before they're reset!
