Question 1: Can screenshots be edited to any degree, whether minor or major? (Example: islander name edited out/changed, putting a filter over a screenshot, or something such as making up a plot about a hologram outside your house and editing an islander with a holographic effect on them onto your screenshot?)

Question 2: Can you only win once? (Example: If you won 1st place for Best Writing, could you also win 3rd for Best-Slice-Of-Life, or 1st for both categories, staff pick for 2 weeks, etc...)

I apologize if these were already answered somewhere else 😰

Looking forward to participating (I’ll post a link tomorrow)! Not sure how interesting it will be given the current lacklustre decorations on my second island (it’s a WIP), but I’m glad I’ll be able to merge it with my existing island journal. Hmm, or maybe I’ll start a new journal renovating my original island. Choices. Either way, that book collectible is adorable and I love it! Super excited for it. 😊📚

I don't play acnh much anymore and I never really like the writing events on here but I figured I'd give it a shot because I really like the lost book and I love participating in TBT events regardless. Aaaaannd 681 words later I've finished my main post and my first entry and I gotta say I enjoyed it much more than I thought I would. I still probably won't continue it after the ten days are up but it's been interesting so far so we'll have to see. Thank you so much for allowing us to use an existing island . I just restarted last month with a new journal for it and was nervous when I saw the task say to start a new island. I have my journal already going but I will start a new one when I get home from work so I can participate.


Edit because I have a question:

In my original journal I use two playable characters. In my journal I write from both characters perspectives. Would I still be able to do that? Or would it be easier to just focus on the one?

i haven't been playing ac at ALL recently but i do have a considerable amount of time to kill before uni officially starts up again, plus that lost book collectible is really calling my name so... it may well be time for me to channel my 2013 tumblr self again and start writing again 👀
