Both of the new Super Smash Bros. Ultimate DLC look really fun. I almost wish that Banjo-Kazooie weren't revealed until a later date because it will make the wait more excruciating knowing so far in advance, but it was undoubtedly a great reveal and I'm looking forward to playing as the Dragon Quest heroes and Banjo-Kazooie once they're all released.
I was a bit concerned at first with what they showed of Animal Crossing: New Horizons, but by the end of the trailer I was a bit more on board. It looks like it might be pretty nice. I'm good with waiting until March 2020.
I'm liking what I saw from that trailer shown for Fire Emblem: Three Housesaside from that one godawful line delivery from Dimitri. I've already been somewhat interested in the game, so what I saw today definitely piqued my interest. I'm more optimistic now, but am reluctant to let go of my cautiousness. Once bitten, twice shy as the saying goes, and the only new Fire Emblem property I've enjoyed since 2012 was Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia. So, including spin-offs, make that five bites, which has left me pretty darn wary. Nonetheless, between what was shown in this trailer, alongside the other stuff they've shown before and the information I've been seeing about this game around the web in recent days, it's looking like Three Houses might end up being a return to form for the series, which I would love. Considering my previous post in this thread, they exceeded my expectations. I'm crossing my fingers and would say I'm looking forward to July.
That Netflix series tie-in game, Jim Henson's The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance Tactics, seems pretty interesting. As much as I love the aesthetics of that movie (primarily and especially the Skeksis), I'm not really that invested in it so I don't know that I'd want to throw down $30-$60 on this game. I might get it sometime down the road though, it looks fun.
I'd like to care about Luigi's Mansion 3, but I honestly can't at the moment. I'm fond of the original GameCube game and like to play through it around October each year or so, but I could never get into the swing of Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon. Hopefully it's enjoyable for those who do want it, and hey, I'm not necessarily writing it off entirely and maybe I'll come around on it and try it out in the future.
I overall quite enjoyed this year's E3 Nintendo Direct. Though my direct interest was basically limited to the above, I found the Direct to be entertaining on the whole.
