What are your thoughts on the supposed new Nintendo handheld? Do you think it will be announced at E3 and if so what new features do you think it will have?

it will have quad screen capabilities

but seriously, a resolution better than 240p would already be a p huge step up imo

It better have a lot of good games, and have backwards compatibility with the 3DS games. I know that there is the 3D stuff, but just have the games play in 2D or something.

No. There was a fictional handheld console named MH that Nintendo used to picture a scenario in one of their reports a few weeks ago. The keyword is "fictional".

But clearly Monster Hunter the Handheld is not fictitious and coming soon!!!

Still think we have a few more years to go on the 3DS, even if they made a mostly pointless update.

That's what I was hoping for. I just heard some speculation about a new handheld that would have functionality with the NX and thought that if this was real it would most likely be announced there!

It'll probably have some minor functionality with the NX kinda like the Wii U and 3DS have, but I don't expect them to publicly announce a new handheld whenever they decide to talk about the NX (since they claim they're not doing it at E3).

The rumors that the NX functions as both a console and handheld are still going around, so maybe that's why we haven't heard anything about a new handheld yet. Time will tell though.
